United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric

Last night I had an electrical emergency at my house, our electricity went out. Called SDG&E to see if it was on their end but they said no. So I called United and they sent an electrician out in about an hour. Our tech Vinnie, a set gentleman identified that our difficulty and came out. He said our panel explained our bussbar was burnt and it's an old zinsco panel required to be replaced and provided me with different options on the repair/replacement. I chose to get it repaired/tuned up since money is tight right now. He'd mention that if we ever decide to replace the panel, he would credit that which we spent the tune up. Surely would call United again!

Lorenzo is friendly, for failing to follow on 15, but it does not compensate.
Lance is the only thing I must say about this location. The rest with have been lazy, incompetent, or a combination of both.
Lance is as good as another United staff I've dealt with are dreadful.
Good thing there is so much competition in the HVAC business, otherwise I'd be forced to deal with this firm for my water heater replacement rather than Personal Plumbing that was and followed-up on each call.
Be careful, In case you are sent anyone other than Lance Rheinehart by United.

This is a difficult organization. When the appointment is created, there's any type of communication after that or absolutely no confirmation. It is not reasonable to expect customers to wait at a home for two hours to get an arrival. When I called, I got a staff member who knew right away while she laughed, which property I was inquiring about. I already waited an hour. For $120 service call, I expect better!

We can't say enough good things about United and Ryan Keatly.
He has done work for all of us and we have been happy with his work. We used him again for a few house wiring. He can help you to determined what your choices are. He describes everything so you understand everything
that's being done. We feel comfortable, and we hope the protection of the work which has been done. We can't say that about other
companies that we have used in the past!

I worked at United Pipes with Robert. He did everything he'd outlined. Can it all on time, and also did a great job! Can def use again!

Had a problem that resulted in toaster and our central air unit to not work. Went on the internet and YouTube but still couldn't figure myself out. Because I have used them a few times in the 14, called these men. Was happy then and was expecting to get this time to the feeling. Jay, whom I had never met came out. After looking over things he figured out what went on and inside a really reasonable quantity of time it all worked again. Found out he has 19 years experience with power and it revealed. Extremely professional and considerate. Best of all of the price was for what was done, what I believed it must be. Jay, thanks, and thanks to United pipes heating and air to be consistent with support. Your people rock!

Called a week to get a through the wall air conditioner unit... I was confident I would be given a reply.... still waiting. Horrible customer support.

I had called United electric and plumbing heating to come and fix an electrical issue. We believed him, when the electrician told me that our solar firm installed faulty electric fuses. After sending Vivint Solar the bill I was told the fuses that they put in were brand new and not used as I was told. I asked for before and after pictures of as of yet nobody has contacted me back and what was installed and contacted United plumbing heating and electric numerous times. I DO NOT advocate having anyone come out and do work on your house unless you want to get ripped off for thousands of dollars.

United's support would be highly recommended by me . Ask for Ryan!
Ryan was easily the most professional, prompt and considerate Electrician I have ever worked with. The man came in and listened to my problem while I attempted to explain it before fixing it quickly and easily and walking right to the issue.

I've noticed several reviews where people thought they were overcharged and want to offer a solution. If they quote you that the workforce back and ask if there is a number that is better. The support and repair guys go by the price provided in their service program that assumes more labor than most jobs require. This was the situation with the breaker component of my occupation. I pushed back on the quote, he asked an override with what my anticipation was for the work and it brought the quote in line.
Our AC unit was tripping it's breaker. They had completed a service for all of us about a year ago and I was pleased with the outcomes.
Lance came out and took a peek and provided a quote to install a brand new capacitor on the AC device to replace the two capacitor set up that he said was the cause of the issue. He replaced the breaker that was aging in case.
Would definitely suggest United for both AC and electrical work.

Lorenzo arrived if we had a heating issue. I'd tried about all the trouble shooting which I could google but the moment it attracted up I backed off.
Within thirty minutes he'd diagnosed, spoke with the owner (we rent), and fixed the issue. Could not ask for better.
Lorenzo was respectful, clean, my kitty and considerate enjoyed him. Winner!

Lance the electrician showed up on time and admired that I had my"take off your shoes" signal on my front door. He had a pair of shoe covers. I appreciated that is part of my culture to carry your shoes off while you're in someone's home. He was productive, knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Would highly recommend this electrician. Our A/C broke through a heat wave (really?) . My husband called in the afternoon and obtained an appointment window day - 2pm. Lance showed up at - WAIT! Lance recognized the problem and repaired it in 20-minutes. He didn't mind our pack of Saint Bernards and was friendly, professional! My dogs thank you, Lance!

Anthony came out and fixed our breaker that was sizzling and inducing lights to dance. He was very professional, kept a clean work personable and environment. I will be calling United Plumbing Heating Air and Electric in the future. Thank you Anthony!

James from United went above and beyond to get a job and power back on for my renters. Throughout the high winds this month there fell that a tree on the power line. So a fire wouldn't start sDG&E came out and turned all the power off. James set up a brand new 200 amp all in one main electrical panel. It had to be moved to some other site. He dealt with SDG&E and town to get this. I will use this business Due to the quality of their employess and their job

Definitely wouldn't take the risk of calling them again. .
Don't recommend. Called United Electric if we lost power . . They came in and miss identified the problem with circuit breakers as problem. . Charged $675. .
Needed to call another electrician to repair the real issue. .
Seems like a few other reviewers had comparable experience too. .

United was prompt with an updated time of arrival for their technician first in my appt window. Brad asked if I would like him to cover his boots, came and was very polite that he did after entering my yard. Brad explained that which was needed to resolve my AC problem and clarified the guarantee that's provided in the event something occurs in the following year.

I will never use them, also I will let everyone I know that (United Plumbing and Electric) to not use.
Very unprofessional of them not revealing the troubleshooting price before going there.
I handle a condominium for a client, and we had a socket issue for the fridge. I phoned and asked them decide on a time and to call the renter. They said it is $29.99 to go there and learn what the problem is. They got there 5 PM in the afternoon, and from 6:15 they predicted that it is fixed and the invoice is $484.00 (for 1 hour or a lot of occupation ). Said that, that's the cost to troubleshoot. If this has been presented to me before they got there, I'd have never consented to this. The job is repaired, however, to change a socket was $484.00.

I'm writing inspection from Ritz cleaners,among their costumers who only got quality support. I had a very long time problem with my electric service and no one managed to repair it,but one of their specialists who's title is Torgom eventually find out all issues and mended everything.Now I could work without issues and one more important thing my electric bill went down that performing matters much more professional.
