Had an Excellent experience with Aldrin and Payless. Was within budget and they were flexible with our schedule. Aldrin then went personally to be positive that we were comfy and took no time to replace it.
As we proactively looked to replace ours since we noticed those around us came out for a free estimate were beginning to escape and being substituted.
Would highly recommend if you want to feel cared for and get quality work.

I called with a serious emergency. Not just had my water heater decided to spring a leak, but the waterline could not be shut down. We called right away that morning.
I finally discovered another plumber who could return on a Saturday. We got a brand new water heater, although it cost a arm and a leg to get a weekend excursion.

When I was provided a window WAY in the day, I must have known they had no intention of arriving. No plumber of any integrity will tell you to wait six hours with a massive water flow. They will refer you to someone if they can't help you. Because that is what decent human beings do.
Of course, THEY'D known in the very first moment I called that day, that they had no time for me, but they didn't need me to call another plumber. I really don't know whether they even had anybody advised to work. They just wanted to make sure it was way too late in the day to have some alternatives so I would be stuck with them, especially since the next day was Mother's and Sunday day. They could not take my business that day. They didn't need anyone to get the business, either. They hoped I would be stuck waiting until they felt like arriving. I am assuming they aimed for Monday. Maybe a window late in the day.
Or, it could be that Payless Water Heaters has mastered cloning.
Call anybody else. Anyone. Regardless of what Payless Water Heaters promises you,"Jacob" ain't coming, even if he exists. At least before hell freezes over.
Just a few minutes prior to the end of my service window, I got the call which I had known, deep down inside, I always went to get.
Or maybe they have practices which enable them to employ individuals named Jacob.
Golly, he ran into a"sudden" issues. He'll be some time. But sure, he will be there! Only some time later. I inquired how much later. Oh... it won't be hours or anything. He'll be there. Of course. Do not worry!
I called many times, allowing them know that this was not a issue. We were not just experiencing the inability to perform laundry or have a bubblebath. I was assured over and over that they'd be there within the window guaranteed. You are next in line, they kept telling me. He'll be right there!
We were so naive.
I really don't know if Jacob would have come to my house, or a man posing as Jacob, or anybody at all someone with a brother-in-law named Jacob. Because nobody ever arrived.
Payless Water Heaters is not a small operation. It is not a small business. They have several operators. I know. I spoke to plenty of them that day.
We ran a hose, and maintained bailing. As we waited to get the Jacob copious, our road were running down. Then the main valve shut off to the house. We had no water in any way. Not for bathrooms, not for anything. It took a while for our pipes to completely empty into and throughout our water heater. So much water. Jamming water back in through your pipes after they have been vacant is business, even when your pipes are brand new. Ours are not.
I knew he never came. Not that day.
But it is that people were hired to write testimonials and mention a technician named Jacob to make it sound more realistic, even more personal. Can't state for sure, but occasionally the facts add up.
It's likely that there's one quite active guy named Jacob running all over California.

Aldrin quickly replaced and removed my leaking water heater using a fresh one, he then explained how to turn off and on the water heater. After that he moved across their gas and water valves shut-offs' location. He was friendly, nice, educated and considerate.

Jon was kind, courteous, effective, and comprehensive. He informed us of our choices answered all our queries, and let us make our decision about changing to a tankless water heater from him. While the cost was significant, they were eager to negotiate until we reached a pleasant price we could be satisfied with.
The components were arranged. Jon and the Payless personnel kept us informed throughout the whole replacement procedure so we never needed to micromanage them. Within a day of our first call to them, we had our water heater. We had started leaking water and awakened to find our water heater had broken immediately. We started calling the water heater repair businesses we can find on Yelp. However we were doubtful that anyone would have the ability to respond and help us in a manner that is timely. This was when we had been surprised and happy to find a LIVE PERSON answered and took our call when we contacted Payless Water Heaters' phone number! It was an answering service, however she took our information and from Payless, we received a call back within an hour's time! And within a two hours, then we received a text message using the title and picture of this water heater expert who was on his way in Payless.

Rick came into our rescue yesterday when our water heater had corroded and poured water out in our own garage. We called in 745 and that he had been here assessing and replacing them. He finished the job within a couple of hours, and was professional and extremely pleasant. He explained in detail things to do if something should go awry and the way to work out new heaters and was also very knowledgeable. We're extremely satisfied with his service and responsive and the way fast that this company is!

100 client! They send you a photograph of your repair guy so that you know who to expect. I was given the chance of getting Rick as my guy. He is amazing, very easy to speak to and very professional. I will use for my repairs!

I had a hot water heater than desired to be replaced, and Payless was assigned by my home warranty company. They did a great job. Always reachable by telephone, gave me text and email updates on when the technician would arrive (and it was within the promised window), and Greg O. did an outstanding job replacing my hot water heater. He did a great job installing it all in the exact same day, giving me a thorough understanding of why and exactly what was being done. He left the region super disposed and clean of my old water heater. Top notch and happy to have water working!

We had a terrific experience with this company. Our water heater leaked ALL over our garage and we had no idea what to do so we called the number on the sticker attached to the water heater. We didn't have enough time to perform research. Luckily, they came right out, told us what was wrong and what it might cost to fix (it didn't have to be replaced, thankfully) and had it completed in a timely manner. I'm imagining that I liked the fact that it's a business and their rates are competitive. Customer service is topnotch, communication is leading so you know when the technician is coming and what he/she looks like, and the technician himself was nice and professional.

I am delighted with the service from Payless Water Heaters. We phoned them about a leak at the valve of the water heater. Rick and Aldran were efficient, type, and professional. They pointed out a few things which might have to be repaired in the future, repaired the problem, arrived in, and gave a few suggestions. The procedure was painless. I had originally known as a range of plumbers and water heater specialists to come see and they were egging to overcharge. The technician was knowledgeable and professional in his quotation procedure. He confessed that his firm would not touch the permit procedure which would be 100 percent on the home owner. The discussion veered into car dealership manner when I commented that his pricing has been higher than the other bids. "Well, we are flexible on the price, but I'll need to call my manager first... can I view the written quotation of the other guys? ... are you ready to set the order now?" This was an unfortunate twist since I respected their insights on water heater conversions up to that point.

Now, I walked into an emergency in my garage and this family owned business came to my rescue thanks. Very professional & fast fixed my leak.

Pretty bad. When the plumbers don't understand what they are currently doing, it doesn't really help. My hot water heater leaked and needed replacement. Guy came Jacob out. Friendly guy. He took the thing out and substituted it. The heater leaked, in reality when he left.
Another guy came out, different truck but name for a certain reason. New guy diagnosed the previous guy didn't do the work and that he redid it all over again. In an interesting twist, he put in an inlet valve which may be closed but not actually opened the way. He realized his goof-up and attempted to burn off.
This was at exactly the exact same time communication with the company and a experience of craftsmanship. The problem isn't merely the business model of the company who has no clue what is going on but also the plumbers. They are at the top end of this scale, therefore there isn't actually a reason to ever contact them.

I call the service centre I ask about the diagnostic fee. They said it no charge. Since I did not purchase from them, they told me. So I should pay the $105! i

Steve was the person that came out to assist us today (4/3/17) and that he did a great job! He also took his time to ensure everything repaired and was done correctly. I will definitely refer him and the company to my friends.
Last night, our water heater went out and our house guarantee referred Payless.

I wish they've choice for zero star. Heating water ceased 2 days ago, I made appointment with them instantly, and they send someone with all the components that they had come over to my home. Took them an hour and half to change the control panel that was brand new. Charged me solve the problem. They lied to me the hot water will be prepared within 30minutes, which was a joke. Call their workplace, and the one thing I got is keep coming over to solve the problem and calling. Save your money not bad and professional customer support and find company!!!!!

We are very thankful to have hot water , something I understood we definitely take for granted! I would recommend Payless to anyone that's looking for a repair company that is honest, thorough, prompt and friendly. Thank you Gregg!
This is actually the second time we've had Payless water heaters outside that we rent. While the home warranty company is a nightmare, their one saving grace is having Payless as a partner. Both instances that the technicians were prompt, helpful, and friendly. This most recent time, Gregg E. came out, diagnosed the issue and called in for approval. While he was waiting, he chose to clean the trail and all of my patio furniture, to prepare fo the repair (since our poor gardening skills had actually obstructed the easier path for him to shoot, sorry!) . He gave us an accurate estimate of the repair would take, and set up a new water heater, bringing it all up to code, and while improving access to valve shutoff. He gave us a little tutorial about the new and improvement so we feel quite confident in how to understand it in the future.

Please note, their initial quote was much lower than others, but still more than that which we were able to afford.
Her is able to help us get a lower cost from his or her boss after he found out we had a budget he did what. We truly appreciated that. Most businesses would have just remained with their initial quotation.

I would recommend them, but on pricing that is great, but also for great service. He explained to my husband when we head out of town and needed to be done annually.

Payless Water Heaters is the real deal. They sent out a technician (Jacob) which turned into a very troubling problem to a smooth and easy experience. They had us back up and running in under 24 hours. Jacob and his staff were professional and very prompt. Call themyou won't regret it.
