I really don't understand what the deal was with all the company, but we were certainly saved the day for by Craig. Without doubt we won't be afraid to reach out to him next time something comes up.
Having closed on our first house, my husband and I have discovered that homeownership can quickly turn into feeling as Pandora's box was opened by us. Our first morning at our house we detected a lack of water. Utilities were all on, everything was fine, but we couldn't get the pilot light of this water heater that is 5 year old to remain on. We called a nearby company (who will remain nameless here) who delivered over a tech, took a peek, obtained the water working for about 15 minutes in a scalding temperature, and quickly the pilot moved out . The tech said the gas control valve was so bad, wasn't covered under warranty, would cost us $500 to substitute and take. What. The. Flip.
After obtaining a recommendation from household, we called Craig Plumbing, and he managed to make it. Craig took a peek at our water heater to evaluate himself, got a run down of exactly what we had been told also spoke to my husband. In the meantime, while waiting for the piece we have warm water and can handle.
Since my furnace was acting weird I have yet to be impressed and will not use them They had been at my house in April. The technician said I want my whole furnace and air conditioning re-installed or"your furnace will need to be replaced within a year since it is going to burn ". I said to this & desired a detailed quote, I would not commit. As of 3 weeks later, no quote. I also purchased a"service plan" that would bring them out in summer and fall to support a/c and warmth. I was told 2x they'd call me to program. Guess what? As promised, they followed up. After the furnace narrative that was re-install I decided I don't really want them in my house. I recently referred to as another repair place because I'm not spending $2500 on one person's word, that a friend recommended to get a 2nd opinion on the reinstall. 2nd opinion was eh, the install is ugly, but it's functional, and thus don't pay to get a re-install. Seems like these men thought they are terribly misinformed or I was an easy mark. Time will tell if they are about the furnace"burning " in a year or maybe.
