My property manager recommended this business because they did some other work on our buildings here in Hawaii Kai in the past nicely, but the reviews here made me skeptical, but the moment the plumber and helper showed up they did every thing over expectations, took care to extra details I have not seen other pipes do to benefit me, were efficient and got the work done by the end of the day, answered all my many questions and weren't annoyed and were friendly, yet didn't waste any time.
After the work was done and they analyzed everything, CJ contracted a drywall/patch/paint guy who arrived and did a great job and though the holes were extensive and that I was really concerned, he took time and care to spot and texture and paint and prime every thing so I honestly can't tell where the work was done. Given the texture across the whole wall isn't ideal, but I didn't anticipate that, but is fantastic and he tried to go past the region to help we'd done. The guy was also very professional and nice, not perfect by any means and there are issues here and there, but much better than I anticipated.

Since I was very skeptical and there are many reviews, complete satisfaction with this business from begin to finish and I felt compelled to share my own surprise. I called 3 businesses advocated by neighbors, but after several messages and calls none of them replied or even bothered to call me back, even to this day. I understand plumbers are busy but unacceptable. When I called my 1st phone was replied by the receptionist of CJ immediately and constantly picked up, she was always useful, though seemed a bit confused, but always delivered and moved things along very fast. The owner called me personally to clarify the scenario after I emailed of the details they requested & return to me with a high but fair quote of substituting at least 1 main stack and work, for the scope. They came out within a week.

SCAMMER!! Do not employ him! He wants to lose his permit! HE will scam you out of your ass

This moring our unit needed a flow in the bathroom, the tenant called so as to clean up the clogged up bathroom other comapny wanted to charge $ 1500 just. As soon as I discovered I phoned CJ plumbing right away and they were prompt and considerate, most significantly they got the job's done within a brief period of time and charged us with an extremely fair rate of $157, I am quite appreciated honesty how they operate the company with experienced technicians.

1pm July 06, they simply wrap up the project about an hour after I called off from the preceding plumbing company, and the charge is $157 rather $1500 (The other company ).

TERRIBLE JOB. Unfortunately yelp doesn't allow you to post zero stars, and that's exactly what their job deserves. This firm did work for a flat building. The first time there was damage that is minimum. The second time was awful. They expected the tenants to stay at home for 5 days out of 8am-5pm, as when we do not have jobs. When I called in advance explaining I couldn't make arrangements to be home the day because I had been off island before 12:30 pm, to unlock the door, they picked the lock. They left the area a wreck. The toilet seat was cracked, my wall was dimmed, and food has been abandoned. Additionally, items were stolen out of my flat. As soon as I called CJ plumbing I got no apology. The individual only began making excuses and was unprofessional. One of those food items left were oranges, and he said"well I don't eat oranges." Completely unacceptable customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES IF YOU EXPECT QUALITY WORK!
For several days, I didn't leave my apartment unlocked in response to your remark. I left it unlocked the job was likely to be done, because like everybody else, I have a job and cannot stay home for a week. After the work was done, this cannot simply be swept under the carpet, I lost the confidence I had for this business. I don't really want this business in my flat again as I don't feel comfy. If you do not want testimonials, please do a fantastic job. It's that simple.

The pipes came to do the work but didn't follow instructions. They ended up installing the shutoff valves in a site. They did the work on a water day, shut away and started to leak into our walls when the water has been turned back on their work. Luckily the building was in the process of updating the pipes and had plumbers on the house. The water shut back off and CJ Plumbing was called back to repair their work. When the water has been turned back on, they returned fixed this time and the work it held.
Do not call themthey are haphazard unprofessional, and so forth.
This inspection is for work from several months before, however I feel as though it's very important to share. We hired this company to install closed off valves in our kitchen because our building allows water closed off's monthly and we all knew we were going to redesign the kitchen so we all wanted to be ready. We choose CJ Plumbing on the recommendation of our building administration.
We were not sure if the leak damaged anything, so it washed to the best of our skill and put fans in the region. We expected that no mold would sort and waited for CJ Plumbing to contact us. We had two problems with them the leak they caused and the work that has been done. They just disappeared. They never billed usthey never checked about the flooding. Nothing.
Our kitchen has been remodeled and a good plumber did the job correctly. We had no mold damage (thanks to ourselves cleaning and drying the area). A neighbor had an problem, although our building no longer recommends not just because of our job and this organization.

Anthony from the Plumbing of CJ came out to my home to confirm my drains and that he did an exceptional job! He patiently explained to me what he do, I had some questions and that he took the time to answer it. He is pleasant, personable, educated and quick! Within the hour, he had been done and the job was finished! I was quite satisfied and would recommend his company! Vicki and lori were excellent in scheduling my appointment and calling me back. Thank you! AWESOME Company!

Great work. Plumber was professional and knowledgable. He had been honest. Fill valve had to be replaced. Had called a different plumber earlier plumbing services who said that the whole bathroom have to be eliminated and it would take 3 hours roughly $400. Told them no thanks. CJ plumbing took and came just 10 mins. Grear job plumber Mike. Honest work. Thank you

As promised CJ plumbing repaired the vanity line in the toilet that cracked and flooded the units. Tech was on time and very professional. Finished work as promised in four weeks.

CJ Plumbing is one of our go-to companies for our properties' plumbing fixes. They have a fast turnaround time and are fairly priced. The tasks are often always completed in a timely manner (based upon the situation) and their job thus far has been fantastic. We continue to utilize them and are more than pleased with their expertise.

Anthony was very helpful and empathic in my situation and arrived whenever possible. There was a flow that happened from the unit and it had been presumed it had been a result of my upstairs unit. Anthony worked fast to fix and found I was free of fault and issue was caused by the unit. SO THANKFUL because of his professionalism and doing and giving me peace of mind!!! What a Saturday! The lack of professionalism this provider displays is outstanding! I made an appointment over a couple of weeks ago to get emergency drain restoration. I'm a company owner and I have had problems. I was told that the tech didn't have so they end up and would come back. I asked the tech to stay in contact over the upcoming few days with me to let me know if he managed to locate it and how much the component would cost. This entire transaction was very casual because he wasn't writing anything down, and I felt somewhat uneasy.
Since the icing on the cake that was bad-service, their tech William yelled on the phone at me once I voiced my displeasure with the organization's lack of costumer services. I called the owner to tell him about my terrible experience so that I could give him a chance to make it right before I posted this review. This was 24 hours ago. I reached out again to learn what went on and he didn't even bother to react to me. For no reason AND my drains are still busted I am out of an entire day of work! Save yourself the hassle and also phone.
In order to generate time for the appointment, I had to clear my work schedule that costs my business plenty of cash and time. When I didn't get any phone calls I called 2 weeks prior to the appointment to ask whether I had an appointment scheduled and if they had located the components necessary to finish the job. Maybe you can try to locate it?" Ummmm I'm sorry I assumed you're the professionals? Just how am I supposed to understand what component will work? It was far too late for me, although I may have been able to make some calls and drive around to locate something, if I had been given more notice. I believed the business scrambled to try and accommodate me and I was forgotten about.

Doing an addition at my property. Had a 3 day job managed by Marty & Braeden from CJ Plumbing. The attention to detail, positive attitudes, flexibility around the worksite, and willingness were outside expectations. I had some small needs around the house which they were able to fit into their schedule and finish on time. I using CJ Plumbing to ALL my plumbing wants and will highly recommend this company.

Now I use them for my other leases. The plumbers and office staff are friendly and productive. Rates are extremely fair.
The owner of an apartment building I handle asked me to use them instead of a different plumbing firm that used to do work at the building. There was ponding in the parking lot As soon as I took over handling the building. . .three other plumbers could not determine where the water has been coming from. CJ Plumbing discovered it on their first trip and we had it repaired! A quote was provided, no fees.

Another example of poor customer service! Waited over per week for non emergency service and when my 2 hour window came and went I left a call to a women who claims to have spoke with a person earlier who cancelled the job. Uh, guess since I never received a call, you and somebody else talked. I would need to wait another 15, As soon as I attempted to reschedule they told me and they could not give me period or a particular date. Thanks for of your help! Don't waste your time or energy use another firm!

I've used so far, and I've run into some bad ones. Owner Chad Joseph is on top of his match in plumbing. Highly recommend for remodels and trouble shooting.

Makes: If you need the work don't care that they are, what they do they do it or what it cost then those guys are for you.
Moneyball: gets the job workers are fine.
Here's another one: NO WORK WILL BE ADDED TO THE ORDER FOR WE HAVE COMPLETED ALL WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. False. Got a $400 charge two days later they forgot to increase the invoice.
With the modern technology, I think that it's very prehistoric to cut holes in walls to locate leaks. These guys should know where all of the pipes are and work on my building regularly. We arrived home in the center of the bathroom to a huge gap, although they diagnosed the problem as being in the right side of the restroom. Why? Where the issue was, they already knew. They said it was to search for more leaks...c'mon guy, drill a 0.5" gap and stick out a endoscope inside there. . .it's just like $200 on amazon! When they needed to set a light source in the walls, 21, there were already 3 holes in the wall. They use their own builder, CSL, who in their estimate (at least they give proposals/estimates first) said they'd need to move the toilet to correct the drywall. At this point I felt as though they were trying to make work for each other. The pipes made a hole for the contractors to mend, who in turn, would need the plumbers to come back to remove then place the toilet back. I requested another contractor who said the toilet wouldn't need to be transferred.
Misses: I feel like I can't trust them to ever use them . I didn't opt to use them, I would have chosen a family friend that I could trust, however, said that these are the guys we must use. I had a leak, that started with the prior owners. I BAM and proceed in! Hit a $1400 charge for the pipes and $1500 charge for the drywall to fix the holes they made to resolve the pipes. Supposedly the leak fixed and was discovered. . .obviously not. Was CJs the company that saw and"fixed" it seven months past??
Technology is out there. Businesses need to be using it for the benefit of their customers. Upfront costs will pay for itself so long as you keep doing the proper thing for the client.
I also requested multiple times for estimates for how much it'd be to get a water shutoff valve and also to fix my dishwasher. Estimates and quotations aren't in their language, they simply do it even if you ask times and then bill you. So they is they don't let you know aka bill, the bill, tells you exactly what they will do , they get it done and exactly what they will do, I mean, did.
The workers are very nice but I don't know whether that's a baiting thing. The first guy was apologetic about the difficulty I walked into with the escape but said another unit mended all their pipes so that I said whew, believed it was going to become a lot more. He took that as an agreement. Quotation:"I SPOKE WITH TECHNICIAN AND HE HAD SAID HE GAVE YOU A PRICE OF 1,600 AND YOU AGREED TO PRICE BUT PRICE IS FAR FROM THAT." Yeah, they write you back in all caps. And that I suppose $1400 is way out of $1600.
Unless you need extra holes THIS. No payment plans either. You get this when you inquire about their checking in to if they have payment plans, PLEASE SUBMIT PAYMENT ASAP. So unless you can afford an extra $3000 in a month to fix a leaking shower drain plumbing issue, think twice about CJs/CSL (they needed half of the $1500 up front, I don't know whether they've payment programs ).
Technology? err. . .nope

Pipes work was required during my bathroom remodeling. Cj plumbing asked me and email to them what I wanted done. In words, I told them1. I desired to relocate shower to the center (because it was located on a corner). 2. Add emergency on/off valve with a small entry door. I asked if I can purchase parts rather than using the highly marked up parts they 20, needed. They said yes, I was given a list, and shopping by them. simple right?
Cj plumbing knew what has to be done but....job was done wrong or not done at all. Called back, made another appointment to perform the job I re-do the job that has been done and, asked for the very first time. Re-route the water line to the center, Aaaaagain... the emergency on/off lever switches needs to be flipped cause it was set up facing incorrect side (away from the tiny access door). Did I say little or small access door? , it was going to be a tiny access door but the plumber cut out such a massive hole on the wall that I can't locate an entry door. I am now having the whole wall replaced too.
Btw, asides from incurring new costs (changing wall), paying for expensive parts. I also had to pay for labour TWICE (2X) to come and re-do what was likely to be done the first time. NOT A Fantastic BUSINESS PRACTICE...
Cut water , DID NOT water line to the center. Add emergency shut valve off. Did not use the components they told me to buy. Used what was in his truck, charged me marked price up. Wasted my time and petrol.

Its 7:40 pm a sunday and we are on the offramp into ewa beach. The CJs pipes truck in front of us license plate 356TTT drove WAY too close to the vehicle in front and swerving all over the road like he is drunk. Then he cut into the left lane almost running another car off the road... I was fearful he was gunna hit us! I hope CJ finds out this guy is driving all around making lots of people commit their name into memory as the location they will never predict when they need a plumber!
