Plumbparts

My husband moved into the large box stores and 2 other pipes"super" stores before being shipped . We looked for a needle in a haystack using a 1961 classic shower faucet. Low and behold the"oracle of pipes" walked a couple of steps away and came back with exactly what we had. Hopefully we won't need to come back, but when we do, you will be our first stop. Thank you Plumbparts!

The guy who works here is known as the"Oracle of Plumbing". I was known here when I needed parts for an old bathtub and came up empty-handed at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Lowe's. I showed it to the Oracle and he disappeared for two minutes, then come back with the part that I needed. It felt like magic.

Turns out the"antique" cross-style handles had a plastic set of inside tines, so they were not nearly as antique as the completely rusted-out retaining screws had directed me to believe. The updated version that Freret did carry would have worked together with my partciular two-valve body, but the Freret guys did not know that.
Freret Hardware could not fit it, so they called me to Plumbparts. Everything fit. He was able to fit a set of Price Phister knobs onto the American Standard stem with an adapter, so I could keep the first ceramic handles.
I shall bring all my future plumbing questions that are vague .
A leaking shower in a house with valves yielded a set of stems that were not easily identified on all the Internet parts sites.

I had the pleasure to go to Plumbparts with my mother recently because our faucet was leaking. We shot our faucet brought the pieces in, gave it he gave new parts to us, we checked out, and we fixed our faucet to get a third!

I didn't see 8-3 on Saturday, and their hours so they're 8-4pm M-F posted here or on Google.
I'd never heard of Plumbparts and that I wasn't enthusiastic about driving out to Kenner but they not only had the stem that I had but also the cosmetic trim. Seemed somewhat pricey when I was there but I since looked online and can see that for the ease of not having to send an urgent job (and considering the quantity of stock they have) they're worth.
After the pipes warehouse in New Orleans gives you that look like"you believed we carried this?" You start getting really nervous about your DIY plumbing job. "There goes the weekend, and probably pulling the shower wall down to replace the entire assembly" you might say to yourself as I did.

I had a very unpleasant encounter at Plumbparts on Veterans Blvd in Kenner. I was unsure and had a very discussion with the salesperson about the return policy, after purchasing a stopper for a sewer line on May 7. He said as long as the part was unopened it might be returned in 30 days. This afternoon (June 1) I drove approximately 15 kilometers to return the part, with receipt in hand, and has been told the return policy is 10 times firm. The sales partner could not have been downright awful and rude. Horrendous customer service. I left also my receipt and the part and said for them to maintain it and stick it. :-/
I would recommend that others follow my guide and will never return to this business. The saddest part is the thing price $7.37. I guess a client relationship is worth significantly less than 7.37 for this sorry business.

Whatever your plumbing needs, these dudes will have it. Perhaps certainly on their schedule and a little more pricey. But the upside is to Home Depot or Lowe's you will make 1 trip.

This place has some repair part for any faucet or bathtub . This is the place to go if you need a repair part for plumbing. They have what you need, and are very knowlegable. You can not find it, if they dont have it.
