I hope you know what a special employee you've got in Tate. He serves your business well.
Thank you very much for your help.

To make things worse, once I phoned Mr. Rooter to inform them of this unethical behavior and request a refund, I had been advised they didn't care when their camera guy lied to me; because he didn't FORCE me to consent to the full pipe replacement, they didn't think they had done anything wrong. I strongly urge everybody not to use this company.
To summarize, Mr. Rooter's camera guy appears to have intentionally tricked me into believing he'd investigated the whole pipe when actually he had to have known he had been hitting a congestion and decided rather than trying to remove this congestion and trying to detect the source of the problem, he'd try to convince me to pay for a very expensive project that WOULDN'T HAVE EVEN SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
Let me start off by saying I've never written a negative review of a company before, but I feel compelled to do so in this example in order to warn others about the deceitful and procedures of this business. A couple weeks ago, we had a congestion in our main house line and known as Mr. Rooter to unblock it. The trip went fine, and the blockage went off. Three weeks later, it had been blocked up again. Luckily, we were under Mr. Rooter's warranty, plus they snaked the drain again. The guy who snaked the drain stated they would reach out to us concerning the specific time and they may send someone. I took the day off of work, however I hadn't heard anything. I finally made a decision to reach out myself, only to be told that the camera guy could not come until the following day. I took another day but it was nothing in comparison to what was to come.
The camera guy ran the camera. Even though the pipe had been snaked the line was completely backed up with standing water. The camera guy said he thought he had been in the road when the camera got to 40 ft outside. Even though we had not been able to find out what caused the problem, he stated it had been clear that by digging up our yard, which might cost more than $48, we'd have to replace the whole line from the house to the road. Then he proceeded to do a market, trying to get me to consent to this work being started by them the following day. I told him we wanted to get estimates from other companies, however he continued to do the hard market, saying the problem needed to be fixed as quickly as possible and that every other company would tell me exactly the exact same thing. Thank goodness I held strong, and he left. I called several plumbers who were appalled at the thought that a comprehensive pipe replacement had been recommended by a company when they'd not even found the source of the problem. All of the other plumbers said they'd have to redo the work that Mr. Rooter had done, i.e., snake the pipe and run a camera until they could figure out what was actually causing the problem. Even though this meant I'd be paying another $ 600 I decided when we didn't understand what caused the problem, this was much better than just agreeing to pay over $ 6,000.
The other plumbing company sent out a man the exact same day to redo Mr. Rooter's work. The other plumber began by conducting a camera in the line but in 40 ft, i.e.the same place where Mr. Rooter's camera guy had said he thought he'd reached the road, another plumber struck a congestion. Another plumber then snaked the drain, forced it outside to 100 ft, and pulled back a massive ball of roots. With the majority of the blockages eliminated along with the water gone, another plumber place his camera back in the line and noticed that there were roots coming to the pipe in 56 ft, before our house line tapped to the county sewer line, and almost certainly under the road as opposed to our yard.
