David and Chris did amazing job. We had plumbing issues. They had been kind and had great work ethics! Our family was impressed by the way the issue was solved by them and communicated with us.
The price point was better than competitors and they took initiative to fix visible problems on the spot, rather than another company that we had come out to assess the issue. The other company charged a lot of money to just say there was a difficulty.

Had JD Now come in due to AC. They diagnosed the issue, arranged the part, and took care of things (at over $4000), all seemed great.
48 hours later got the system working and it stopped functioning, had them come back out, they did a little job and could not find any problems. Now, 72 hours afterwards got home from work and once again it has stopped functioning.
The employees and business have been professional and courteous this time but that does not account for the fact that one week later and $4000+ spent and we still do not have a AC
That is twice as it was installed last Tuesday the AC has ceased working....doesn't seem like money well spent at this stage.

I have been renovating properties for almost 40 years, and I could tell when someone is attempting to rip off you. This company tried that now.
Would not call them EVER. Suggest you look elsewhere for your plumbing requirements.
Plumber arrived on time (good) and then gave me a quote of about $930 for the above work (poor ). I requested the plumber how much time it could take and that he said about 2 hours.
As I advised the plumber,"$465 an hour? Well sir I had been born at night but not last night. Hell no." He did state that comprised parts. . .uh... four hoses and some plastic drain pipes. B.S.
This is all about their over priced plumbing service quote for installing 2 (2) faucets. One bathroom and 1 kitchen vanity.

My garbage disposal n't worked. The next day I also called and got an appointment. They called twice during the day to keep me apprised of the arrival time of this tech. Juan arrived and was super considerate, straightforward and pleasant. Me quotations for unjamming, broken they bring and install replacement. He got it unjammed (yay!) And I made the decision to obtain a new one myself for them to install afterwards. He gave me horsepower and version recommendations (who knew?) .
I then got quotations for several options and appreciated the conversation. He helped me with establishing 0% financing and that I made an appointment for the next week to get all done at the same time. Quite happy.

The results do not lie.
The results just do not lie
Install fresh bathtub From July to October!!!!!!!!!! Their plumbers reworked something and this Monday we took a shower for the first time and, - feeble pressure in the shower - one body spray does not work - the handles"look" in various directions - the main shower with no Adapter Filter Mesh is quite noisy - the sink taps both jumped but one jumped intensely - it was replaced and the second jumped a little and the last plumber stated he couldn't repair it??
After reading a few five stars testimonials, I found out they also had difficulties, but they were more satisfied with the qualitative apologies compared to the quality work, also it was really modest work.

I needed to go to install yelp since JD Service now is really helpless I needed to examine them. They took my call recorded my address, made me wait for 24 hours at the North Carolina August heat called me to let me know they didnt come to my region. The place I told them I lived with a zip code they recorded and assessed in precisely the exact same place. Sounds like they don't know what they are doing huh. Well after they said they didnt come to my place when he would be out to my home but I needed to tell him their tech called to inform me he did not come to my region. The business appears to desire a plexotom, there is a plexotomy where they place a piece of plexiglass on your stomach so you can see where you're going with your mind. .
I should have guessed they'd be idiots feom listening to their half fast traffic report on 106.1 talk FM...

Promised they would have a tech at my place on Friday, called in the afternoon to let me understand the tech is going to appear in the day and called again to set it up for a week on Wednesday. Told them to locate other clients.

They predicted to be fair, once I contacted them. In the conclusion the day fee they promised to repay. They were intent on making things !
Took 2 visits to finalize a regular tankless water heater flushing. I was billed for both visits since the very first tech was not familiar with the unit (they installed it) and didn't have spare parts together with him was able to clean a filtration display on the visit. Therefore a visit was scheduled I was billed another $142 for this visit and when they brought spare parts. Total cost was $320 for a regular flush. Not a happy client.

Needed a new water heater so that they sent a tech over right away and were very nice. He had been on time, fine, and professional. The matter is that the quote amount. They quoted me $2164+ to supply and install. That is to put in the device. . Grand total $2500+ PLUS TAX. The quotation was more because they went to additional $860 for a Water Heater Scale and Sediment Reduction unit and charge. That quote rolled in at over $3600 Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater. As I said the tech was really nice but if you're not paying attention, you'll be paying far too much. BTW - went with a business that has been $1100 less than JD estimate.

How do they not have a individual to perform care month.
They request lots of details so another individual can call you back and request the identical information and tell you they don't have appointments available, when you chat with a individual in their web page.
I called in November for an agency appointment and they could not come until November. They said I had paid in advance for the service.
JD Service has quite good technicians, however, the person(s) who answer the phone or schedule an agency don't have experience or the lack skills to perform their job.

Replacing an HVAC system isn't a simple choice to make, nor can it be a really fun thing to deal with as a homeowner. Large home improvements are often stressful, costly, and you may be left wondering if you made the perfect choice for your bank accounts and your home. In this case, JD Service Now never had me doubting I had made the correct choice. I'm relieved now that I've taken care of something that was weighing on my mind since we purchased our home. I would recommend this business to anybody.
Prompted by a Duke home energy audit, I shopped around quite a bit before settling on a business to replace my air conditioner and furnace (both were still functional, but original to my house, therefore 31 years old!) . Chris Edwards, the HVAC Manager who came to my house was educated, kind, therefore patient. Before he came I got an emailed bio so his face would be recognizable and I would know a bit of his background. He clarified me personally things - and that I badgered him! Since I had met with so many different sellers I understood enough to wonder why he was indicating things rather than others, and he explained and educated me. They changed my quote a few times based on things, and were quite aggressive, so far as cost.
Chris Edwards managed the financing for us, explaining the alternatives. He was very receptive to emails (and once more, I requested LOTS of questions!) . In addition, he filed for the Duke Energy rebates we had been entitled to, and helped me file for the PSNC Energy rebate.
Less than 2 weeks after, Neil Faircloth and Chris (a different Chris) came and got started on the setup. I got exactly the same bio degradable to me for Neil, which was a nice touch! We had been told that the install will have a day and a half. This was fine with me- they're doing a job that I know nothing about! They were friendly and quite professional. At various points they coordinated a plumber to come out and assess something (that turned out to be a false alarm, thank goodness!) And electricians (such as the wiring involved in installing a new HVAC system). At no stage did I doubt decision, that the understanding and level of skill that these professionals all exhibited. The job ended up taking a half days on account of the size of our crawlspace and the simple fact that the furnace was being relocated by us there. They kept us in the loop every step along the way and apologized many times for the delay- once more, I wasn't bothered by this whatsoever! We were without heat for one night, however they lent us space heaters that are excellent and we weren't at all uncomfortable.

If you want a diagnostic cheaper end of trip fees.
Negatives:
Short wait for the technician.
Prices in comparison with local plumbers.
1/5/18 update: A manager left a voicemail while I was out of town (which may have been procced from the remark below) but gave an invalid return call number.
Not transparent whatsoever on their own pricing.
The morning came and I didn't get a call. I had to call them back to request a call back, which arrived saying they could send someone.
I had a garbage disposal, and from my study, I realised I needed a replacement trash disposal. When I called to request a quote, I had been told that they do not give quotes nor neighborhood costs, but they could send somebody out. I expressed that I knew was a quotation what the problem was. I wanted to protect against the event where they quote me a price that was higher than expected and would come, and me be left having to pay their trip charge for knowledge I had. The secretary said it is unfair to them by providing quotes ahead because individuals would not give them a opportunity to do their service (this should have been a red flag that they'd quote large ). This was the point at which she began getting short and impatient with me. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment if their trip fee is about the less expensive end believing, so would their service. They had good reviews. She said I would find a callback the next morning between 8 and 10 AM. I predicted a few different places as a point of reference in the meantime to get a quotation.
Bad customer service from the secretary.
Fell through on their promise to call me the next morning to schedule an appointment.
Positives:
Great customer service from technician/repairman.
He quoted me a price that blew the other quotes I had from the water After the technician/repairman arrived. Therefore, I was left with a fee along with a super quotation . When I did rapid calculation, it was cheaper for me go with someone else and to pay the trip charge. This was. The technician was understanding and patient, and asked to get a couple of minutes to speak with his manager. They were able to apply a little reduction, but it was not enough. I determined that I would go ahead and just get the part myself to save some more income, but still use their service, because I had been really on a tight schedule. The technician was fine enough to give me the time to go out while he took his lunch break, and purchase the part.

Update 11/15 The worst support!! Cancelling service simply because they can not be bothered to do a project they quoted to do long term. The Owner could not provide a legitimate answer to this happened. Avoid at any cost. BBB shall be receiving an email from me seeing there work standards and duties.

This morning I had a scheduled appointment to the first maintenance that they said was not needed time and you'll never guess what happened! It is hard to think, after all of the phone calls to support managers and drama last time such as an offer of dinner for my wife and I everywhere in town (which we turned down) and after all I told them I wanted was what I paid for, so that they keep their appointments, they simply blew off my appointment without a photo call since it's hot out and they are busy.
Fantastic luck when you have to deal with them.
The service seems to avoiding giving any support. It seems to always take number of visits and calls . Maybe it's because I bought a service contract and they have all of the money that they're likely to get from me? I don't understand. What I do understand is that I bought a new HVAC unit with a service contract a couple of months back from them. They canceled since they were busy the first service telephone and they told me it was not needed. This morning I woke to non functioning unit and I can not get them to schedule anyone to look at it despite three calls and two chats.
Update July 2 part 2 9:39
If you'd like apologies this your location! If you'd like anything else don't predict this joke of business.
Update July 2.
The remarks below from Cheryl at JD referring to conversion resolving issues are a lie. I don't know when I could expect the maintenance service I have paid for.

Wonderful company. Awesome team. If you want to have a group of experts who are ethical honest and dedicated to doing it right

PS - the young female dispatcher my wife speak to you, after being passed by Mike, stated that the plumber would be there later 1PM.
Anyway, a man did appear (only motive for the extra star) finally at 5:45 PM (far after our deadline but the resident hadn't returned) only to tell us he wasn't doing it and would be too large of a job (they wanted to jack hammer concrete to tie into a sewer line that was exposed in this space ). OMGosh! He quoted 2-3X what I am convinced it could be achieved for and didn't want the job.
I think if you're interested in a fantastic plumber, then have a flexible time schedule, and do not mind being billed an absorbant amount of money (this man says they do inspections on warm water heaters even though they are not necessary), this can be the plumber for you BUT NOT ME!!!
We picked this company because of the reviews.
We only had a 4 hour window to have an set up to get a washer put to a utility space. For that reason, the appointment was scheduled by my wife a week. Plumber was going to show between 11 and 1. So my wife called only to be told no plumber came today!! we gave it till 3 PM WHAT?!? A WEEK AGO, WE SCHEDULED THIS. They thought it'd be fine to come but we explained we don't have access.

Was excited that they could come to my house on Sunday to fix my air conditioner. But towards the end of the afternoon I was advised that they would not be in a position to earn the appointment, and I would have to wait an extra two days for service. I opted to find another company.

Another technician came first thing in the morning and get the job done Even though the emergency support was unable to solve my issue!
Needed to call JD due to a semi major disaster (at least in my opinion) overnight at the powder room.
Operator lady was was totally professional and nice.
The"incident" happened 3 months ago. .

Do not really expect support. We bought an expensive HVAC unit such as a service contract late last year, from them. After rescheduling a regular maintenance serveral times and then canceling it and telling us we didn't need it, our brand-new device is not currently working and we can't even get a service call! Of course if they'd done the regular maintenance such as they were suppose for the wouldn't have happened. I'm NOT impressed with this business in any way. Maybe they are OK with repairing a leaky faucet, but you will be ignored once they take your money.

We have utilized JD Service Now to correct an issue with our heating. Actually, the first visit was a complete waste of time because the technician basically stated that he could not recreate the issue (it was starting to heat up and issue only happened during cold weather). We were billed for the troubleshooting though the tech was not able to help.
On the other hand, about a year, the technician who arrived at our house was far more educated. A credit was applied by them since we were having the same matter. The tech identified the problem and fixed it (there was a buildup of some residue that has been clogging condensation pipes). The problem happened again and the problem was fixed by the technician . He did not feel that the problem would occur but we'll see. I'm not thrilled that it took three visits to fix but at least they were easy to utilize.
The business seems very well organized and scheduling appointments is easy and dependable. This is a relief after dealing with other house service companies that were much more challenging to use.
