A request for pricing on the job and Wednesday afternoon was completed Thursday morning. Replaced two lock cylinders and rekeyed another. Great job, pricing that is fair. If necessary, Can use them. Thank you.

Very costly. They tried to charge me over I was quoted. This has been a hassle.
I am rather disappointed.
And the"technician" did not place my door handle back together at all. So I needed to call back and wait for another'technician" to come and finish the job.

First guy I tried when we needed locks changes. I phoned and left a message. No response. If what somebody needs isn't your cup of tea? Simple call back with a"sorry we can't assist you" goes a long way when someone's in a pickle. Just sayin'. :(

This really is a community locksmith. I give him all of my small business and personally know Jim. Years of experience and a friendly guy, reliable. Good luck Jim. Keep up the fantastic work.

This is apparently an individual operated and owned business. Last week he had been"closed" for inventory. Not only did he answer the phone, he offered to allow me to call in the following day, when he would be closed, to look to see if he'd my key blank in stock and answered my questions. He seems to have everything in stock and is knowledgeable.

Really friendly and a quick response. Had a bad door latch tricky. The job was managed by jim fast and the door is back in operation. Very reasonable pricing. I recommend Jim for the next lock job!

Quick reliable service. I would certainly use them again. They were also the most reasonably priced of the locksmiths we called in the area. From the very first contact with Jim to getting the car unlocked and the keys outside was only thirty minutes.

Broad and exceptional key stock. The owner was able to accommodate me as a walk in customer and finished making a key to get an aircraft door lock in 30 minutes. Cost was less anticipated. Before going anyplace else for any making 13, this place tries.
It's a little difficult to locate but the store is located only west of route 31 in a strip mall across the street from burger king.

Needed to acquire key made with locks to get an house. Have a very old secret that is rare that ace and wal-mart and stores that sell and make keys did not possess, they had in stock. Additionally didn't cost me anything more. .

Always support that is timely that is great. We were at the security system locked me from the construction and a pinch one time using a power outage. Of course, no spare key on me and it's 10p on a Sunday. Someone was out within 2 hours with a smile.

Jim continues to be my go-to locksmith for over 10 decades. He's been very responsive whenever I have needed his aid. We have had work done by North Star Lock Service and highly recommend them to anyone! Jim Carpenter has replaced steel doors,, installed video tracking systems strike pad on much more and the entry door. He is easy to work with, a fantastic sense of humor and reasonable in price!

Called with a crisis and has been fortunate to have a person come out. The technician was friendly, courteous and solved the issue. No ordering replacement parts or visits to our technical Pella door lock. I will call them in the future and highly recommend them.
