Good guys. Very efficient service. They came in timely manner and answered the phone fast. Will recommend them.
Terrible service. I predicted cause I got locked in in my apartment. Told me that they went to charge $75 dollars and when he finished the job. I got locked in in my apartment the next moment. I phoned and said I wanted my money back and the guy in the phone was really rude and hang me up. Do not waste your time.
I called this locksmith by their number the night I got locked out of my Parkchester apartment around 6:30pm. I called four distinct locksmiths from the Parkchester area, the top rated ones on google and yelp, and all four lent the minimum to return into my flat at around $75 all charges included based on the description of this circumstance, and stated it would change slightly depending on what exactly the issue was when they arrived.
But when called the Parkchester service section came to replace that lock , and their locksmith was told by me exactly what I was charged, he was flabbergasted, saying that the job shouldn't ever has cost over $75. After speaking about it to my control firm, I was told from a girl operating their that they used to get a locksmiths store for 15 years in NYC, and that they were appalled that I would be charged that much after having noticed the job.
This is by far the WORST experience with contractor or any company in any industry I've EVER had, and my own area is design and interior architecture.
I ended up with this locksmith, and was given the quote. The locksmith came was friendly, made to work and was for every one the 10 minutes he was together with my significant other and I. It took him all of 3 minutes to tap on the lock, flash a light at it (we held up the light for him), and then for him to drill in the cylinder. He put his drill away and as the work was done, he changed the cost . When I protested, he said the cost he had initially given was a quote based on,"the way the situation sounded over the telephone". I hadn't felt like I might argue, the job was done, and I never want anyone to feel like I had ripped off them, so I paid the fee, which he insisted I pay in cash. I asked for a receipt, and he said something to the effect of,"Oh, so I would have to move all of the way down to the truck and return up to get it to you" to which my boyfriend offered to run down together for this to save him the trip.
I am at a loss for what this company is thinking.
I informed him how much I admired their work and their industry, and it did not matter what I said I was, the moment I expressed distaste he shut down. He told him his employee altered the cost after he finished the job, and he said that wasn't true and that I have to've agreed to cover the fee ahead, which I certainly did not. I wasn't told the true price until after the job was done (I contended it for a little before I paid, however, the locksmith which night insisted that was the cost). I would never wish to make anyone feel like I took advantage of their work, so it was just paid by me . The guy over the telephone continued to insinuate that I have to've consented to the charge, and that I lay ahead. He kept trying to talk me over, shut me up, and get me. I informed him I felt disrespected by his employee for overcharging mepersonally, and by him for how he was treating me, and he only said,"OK." I asked,"Can you care that you and your workers have made your customer feel disrespected?" I told him I would have no problem leaving a bad review, submitting a complaint with consumer affairs, etc., so he would know I wasn't just going to close up and scamper away because he raised his voice in me, and he stated,"I do not care, ok, go ahead."
I called the number and was a secretary. I explained to her exactly what the matter with the door was and asked her to get a quote, she explained the service fee was $19 and the work seemed like it'd cost only up of $30 (she began at saying $29 definitively then shifted her response ), once I told her what I had actually been charged, she said,"WOW, thats mad, what firm was that? They ripped you off" and I said,"Yours. I received this number from my receipt." And she said,"oh, um, hold on " and put me on the telephone with the guy who ended up speaking to me more rudely than I've ever been talked to by a company in my entire life.
Great support! Speedy response. Clean, great and friendly attitude. I know who to call when I do, although I hope not to need to use this service ! I recommend Yal!
I just moved into my new apartment and needed a new lock installed. A friend recommended 24/7 H Security so I contacted them and Jeff got back to me right away. He mentioned that the lock might be. The technician was professional and there were not any hidden fees. Great client experience!
High Security came to save the 15, after travel in 24/7! Jeff not only got me in to my flat but was able to fix the lock in seconds (I had been asking my superb for months ). I shall call them!
Everything started out well. I called these guys to put in a lock in the apartment of my mother precisely the night, and a person showed up. He called me once the job has been finished, said a new lock was set up and billed $243 (I gave him my credit card number). I requested him to leave my mother to a reception. As soon as I picked up the reception (six months later), it said that only a new cylinder was set up. I assessed the lock it and was not functioning and quite old. I called the company and told them that I requested to get a lock installed, not just a cylinder. The guy on the phone told me that their guarantee for parts and labor was only for 90 days. They might send a technician, but would bill me. I suggest using someone else, unless you are there to scrutinize the job on the spot.
