This Ace Hardware is easy to miss because it's tucked away in an area where Pecos is about to turn into someplace you shouldn't be walking alone at night, but it's a wonderful little neighborhood shop. I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 4 decades now and only noticed it.
Despite the obsolete and well worn appearance of it, you'll also notice that it's a fantastic choice of materials, and the employees are helpful and keen to assist you. In fact, while I had been in there a teenager was in handcuffs and they were hoping to help him locate a key or some sort of instrument to assist them get off them (which has been the highlight of my day!) .
I was out from there in the time it would require me to find someone to help me find exactly what I needed at Home Depot, and found everything I was looking for thanks to the assistance of a couple of employees.
Walking in, you'll feel like you stepped to 1982. Probably suburban dwellers would despise this place because it's not up to Home Depot standards, as it has character, but I love it.
What a superb experience at this Ace hardware. At which I walk around for 20 minutes trying to locate a person to assist 22, what a difference compared to other hardware stores. The BEST part was that the man behind the service counter. He was kind and walked me. He provided me with the crucial measures and didn't even try to over sell me. I will be back and will recommend this Ace to all of my friends!!
I had an excellent experience with Ryan yesterday because he was educated, friendly, patient and creative! He got to it, after explaining my difficulty which required a lot of imagination as well as patience and together we developed a fantastic solution. The remainder of the staff in this shop were very friendly and I would highly recommend a trip!
Literally everybody else that works there's dumb as a bag of nails, and they will need to ask another guy where the nails are kept.
I really don't know if he is the proprietor, or manager, or just a guy that works there, but whoever functions behind the service counter has become the helpful and most knowledgeable person I've ever met at a hardware store. 5/5 for him. Best guy and I keep going for him.
The worse customer service I've ever experienced. The supervisor, Nathan, was disrespectful and rude. I have never had anybody treat me this way. It is sad he represents this company, which is currently making me from visiting any Ace Hardware later on.
If you're looking for a place that is customer support down the bathroom, you have found the correct place. This shop is close to my house and has been my first stopping spot I needed something for my home or garden improvements. Never again!
Had the experience as a client and can't believe believe this business is still available! As I went into the shop somebody approached me tell him depart the aisle know was asked if I wanted help by two people and earlier got to the aisle. I finally told these people no both. And was approached. I'm kinda irritated and tell him I don't have to be babysitting I'm just looking around for what I need. Following I stop being I was told the. I was overwhelmed with client support and such speech I began to get the things I wanted and was approached by two more men telling me that they were there to help me. I explained I do not need help that they have to speak about the way he had speak to me calling me such names to their worker. They told me to get out of there shop but there were other hardware stores around
This Ace hardware is run. Knowledgable, helpful workers. They carry hard to find things and appear to specialize in things that the aging homes need, in addition to understanding that is useful. Thumbs up!

Dirty artificial friendly. It's unfortunate that this is the best we get from Sherrelwood. I've gone here more times than I could count.
