Honest as they come....helped to explain how I could replace my deadbolt that has been. . .well, dead! This is when it comes to changing a light bulb!! to a man who's contested I did it myself, instead of having him come outside, but he had been willing to do this as well....he told me what his speed was (and in 15 minute charging!!) Which I thought was quite affordable. I purchased a brand new hitter from him, he set it up for the previous key(s) therefore I didn't have to buy new keys made ! Trust him!

Had a few keys created and a digital lock . Service was friendly and quick. Prices reasonable. Super tiny shop!

Got a call a week later from the store. I had already found someone to perform the job for more affordable. No apology for their mess up. Poor on the expensive side and customer support. Don't recommend.
Scheduled them to turn alter the locks and install one lock. Showed up using no equipment, after I went into the store the day before and picked out all the hardware. He then forgot the secrets, and Had to go back to the store. Eventually sent him home because I needed to go back to work.

They'll be the first place I'll call for solutions that are lock and key. It's GREAT and a relief to discover a locksmith .
He did not possess the particular cylinder in inventory so arranged it. He checked my locks to see if they lined up properly all, before he left for his next appointment. The majority of them didn't. He corrected them charged only for this, even though it took additional time.
Enjoy Stan's professionalism and expertise. There was failed and his first available appointment for a home call A deadbolt a week outside. Tried to walk so that I could bring it in and have it mended that day. It was not for lack of trying on her role although I was not successful.
They let me know the replacement cylinder was first in and we set up the appointment. Every aspect of his service was fantastic.
The appointment was made by me for the home call. Stan arrived on time and determined the cylinder needed to be replaced, showing. He explained the reason was that the door jam and deadbolt did not line up perfectly, putting stress.

I have used these folks for 8 or more years longer. Services include emergency lockouts, keys installs. They've always been professional, helpful, kind, entire wonderful. Had last week to cancel a rekey and they had been kind enough to not charge me. Saved me a ton. If they are ever needed by my Business, I appreciate them and feel secure knowing they have my back. I would not recommend Alki W Seattle Key & Lock to a friend.
The tech was favorable and came to my place at West Seattle within 20 minutes. When he got upstairs, he also informed me that he couldn't perform the lock since he had his gear to the picking. So he had to perform the more invasive of drilling at the lock, $ 60 fix. Why I had to cover the additional $60 for this process because he got his things I have no idea. He didn't seem like he understood what he do and had to go back to his car to get more drills.

This is the locksmith shop in the city! They do a fantastic excellent job with a grin on their face. Everyone I have encountered is useful and really sweet. They've made keys for my business. The proprietor put in a shutting mechanism so that the place remains relaxing and silent and came into my salon. I just adore how friendly they truly want to offer support and are. I would not go anyplace else! Thank you guys!

We picked this business based on reviews on the West Seattle Blog and are very happy. We needed help on two events and they came as promised and provided great support. Louis re-keyed front door a few months back and Stan (the owner) did me a great kindness now by fixing our old door knob after it came out in my hands. He also showed me how to properly set up the hardware and set screw. They know their stuff and also appear to be friendly, straightforward and honest. We're glad to know where to turn for locksmith services that are good if you require it!

Chris just fixed the lock our big sliding door. In addition to successfully fixing the lock , he cleaned and lubed and went the excess mile the door tracks. Top-notch work, as normal. Thank you, Chris.

We installed a new entry door, so we brought the hardware into get spares of those keys made. When we got home, we understood the spares made did not fit in the deadbolt. I brought back the next morning (while our door was being installed), and the employees remembered us and promptly discovered a solution. She filed down the keys until they fit, and then offered to take the deadbolt down to her provider to locate an integral blank that fit (none of those she'd did). I loaned deadbolt for a couple hours to her, and she ran outside and remade our secrets and had the deadbolt back to us in just a few hours.
She could have sent us away saying she had nothing that fit. Us could have billed for the new hires. Us could have billed for filing down the keys. She did none of that, and has been friendly the whole time.
