Search around ! Because they had been the very first one which pulled up in the search 15, I called. BAD IDEA! They wouldn't tell me a cost. An average was requested by me and I would never be told by them on the phone. All service and service call begins at $35 and goes up from there. The guy showed up in an unmarked car like you see, so it wasn't a locksmith van. We had been advised that it is a high security car so that it would be more expensive. $178! I didn't understand until later searching that this was way over priced! Took no kidding, the guy to enter the vehicle. No additional keys made or anything.
I will look for a guy named Ralph from the area. Search for him and I believe he's like $75 and makes you keys.
NEVER EVER AGAIN could I recommend this organization and I will post on facebook and every where else to AVOID!
Pathetic. Rude over the phone, wouldn't give a assortment of prices they would charge prior to getting my home address to me, and wouldn't give me 2 minutes to describe my situation. Seemed shady I ended up going with somebody else.
Lately I locked myself and I chose to give a phone to them. He needed to charge me a 160. I then chose to called AAA. He asked me just how much does AAA charge and I said $50. Then he dropped the price. At the moment, I understood this place was sketchy. I went inside my house. On insisted me to speak with his boss he kept. In the start, the boss said I could pay the worker $19. However, the worker kept on talking to his boss in his own language (I assumed he needed to be paid $29). I advised him to stand infront of my door because he wanted the 29, but he wouldn't step out of my house. And then the boss changed his word and advised me to pay the worker $29. This business is clearly a bait and switch. I locked my door and yelled at him to get outside since the worker guy wouldn't leave my house. He banged on the door so loudly. He then left. I went out to look at my car and the THREW COFFEE AT MY CAR. It had been such an experience. He was creepy rude, and aggressive.
The lock on an interior door had broken. Called the locksmith at. So an additional $40 was charged which was 7 minutes before regular business hours - . A 274 for under an hour of work. Before calling this company, should have read the ratings.
My fiance locked her keys in her car in the town of Allen, TX. Being a real lover of using local companies, she contacted Allen Locksmith to see whether it'd be worth using a locksmith come open it or should we create the 30 minute run into the house to pickup the key. When asked what it would cost, she was told $15 excursion cost and $35 and up. With a similar situation I knew what would be involved in opening the automobile and understood that it was very quick. They showed up just over an hour after, also promised that they would be there in 20 minutes. And to beat this, the locksmith was not even an employee of the local business that we chose to patronize. They'd contracted another bus from Dallas to do the work (Avenue Locksmith) After he revealed, he popped out the cuff, stuck it between the automobile and the doorway, pumped it up and reached in with his tool and pulled the door handle to unlock the door. Honestly, without doubt, less than 30 seconds. He then proceeded to write the invoice for $178. I made 3 calls into the office and each time was told they would call me back within an hour and never called back. Finally on the third call, they told me that they weren't going to do anything to make it appropriate. I may have taken one for the group, but I'd recommend you to do your homework prior to doing business with Allen Locksmith. If nothing else, read and go their internet site. That may be sufficient to lead you in another direction. A complaint has been registered with the Better Business Bureau as well.
