I called AMPM locksmith at the request of a friend. I managed to lose my keys in the seat as I exited the vehicle. Face palm!
The lady I spoke with was really nice and assured me that a lock smith would be out fast to unlock my car. The locksmith got my keys out and came fast. I was able to make it to work after all the drama on time. They are strongly recommended by me!
DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO AMPM!His supervisor and the technician were verbally rude to us on top of that we were quoted a cost that is particular to rekey our house and when the technician showed up he tripled the quotation. We denied that the"service" and got a horrible call from his supervisor.
Should you require a locksmith DON'T phone these men, visit Locksmith Central.
I phoned AM PM Locksmith later about 7 local locksmith companies said they had been sending a tech yet no one ever came. After 2 days of waiting to get into our new house's mailbox, I phoned AM PM and they sent someone out right away. The gentleman who assisted us was quick and super nice knew what he do and had the appropriate tools to get the business. I would gladly recommend them to some friend. I feel as though they're somewhat expensive, but after being made to wait so 30, so it was worthwhile, our landlord is going to reimburse us!
I thought it was pricey so I found AMPM to provide me the quote and did some searching. Plus they gave me. I actually saved money. They just told me to call to make sure a locksmith tech will be onsite. They reproduced my key they needed to plan it. A deli next door is so instead of waiting in there office while still using it programmed, I went and got lunch.
The only reason was because the tech got after I did there 10minutes. If I need keys or locks I'll call them!!
After loosing the extra key I decided to have my key duplicated.
My lock was unlocked by them quickly and I started speaking to them about car keys and I had a second car key while I was there made for my ford trip. They were able to provide me without having to use y key, so I lock and can unlock it! My wife and I can have our OWN set of secrets. Because I never know where she puts (hides) the key. Ampm locksmith would be recommended by me to anybody who wants keys created for home or their vehicle. I would also urge if you don't have one 20, that married people get a set of secrets! In case your spouse is like mine!!
Thanks again ampm for your help and for all of the information you guys provided me with!!
That I had to get my luggage and my wife lost the very small secrets to my bag unlocked until my flight leaves tonight!!! I called a few businesses in San Diego and all of them said it'd take roughly an hour to 2 hours to get my luggage unlocked. I didn't want to wait that long to pack my clothes and I did not want to buy a new suitcase either.
I think as we speak, I am losing brain cells. Is it having a child? Is it herbal supplements I have attempted previously? After I started it but whatever the hell it's, induced me to lock my keys in my car I really don't know. Yes that's correct, my running car was abandoned at the driveway. . .locked!
I googled automobile locksmith and AM PM Locksmith was the first company to pop up. The dispatcher was nice and effective and as he said, in 30 minutes that the locksmith arrived. $139 and 3 minutes he pried open poof and my car door, I was off and running.
**I have had several Yelp customers PM me and tell me I must edit my review to reflect the inflated prices. I take it they have had bad encounters. Well, that wasn't the case . They did what they said they'd do they stated they'd. Is $139 expensive? Hell yes it is, but I didn't do my job and request a price quote ahead, and in the present time, I didn't really care. Should you care about getting it cheap, then call around. I wanted quick and simple, with no creepy dude and that's what I got. **
Really nice, really effective, but pricey. I guess when you're a dork like me, you better be ready to pay for your mistakes.
Because they kept changing prices, I chose to not use this business. The person said $19 svc telephone and $19 for every rekey. Then another person known to let me know he came until we see it, but when I verified the pricing understand. Sounds to me personally. So no thanks.
THE WORST! They starting at $19 to rekey a lock and quoted me a service call that was $19. When he arrived an hour later he stated he would be there, he said is was $65 and a $19 service call to rekey this simple lock. Do yourself a favor and call someone I told them to phone when they were 15 minutes away so that I could meet them . He said he had been 15 minutes away and called, and he showed up an hour! Call an honest company instead!!!
Reply to Jeremy it was $35 to unlock and $ 15 to come out. After he came out it was really $150 because"this will take a while and may require drilling" It did NOT need any drilling appearing at various other reviews and had been started in less than 1 minute, like I said. 'd the quote been $150 over the phone, I would have called another company.
Here's the scam....this job looks difficult for some reason it may cost $150 as opposed to the $50 quoted on the phone. The locksmith went outside to his truck to receive tools after signing off on that and it required over 1 moment to possess the lock open. Ok, so that was simpler than you thought, just how much? Still $150, that's our policy. I am pretty sure he knew what he do. As it turned out to take time and effort and yet an honest person would have revised the price.
Do not use this company for your needs. We predicted in advance to schedule support. We requested for a quote and that I explained. I was assured that the tech would meet us in the location on the date on time and he/she would be prepared to do what I explained we had. I was never told or advised of any sort of"company policy" wherein you had to validate the appointment before the appointment. I was told the tech are there. Bright and early the morning of the appointment I was waiting for the technician to show and there ready. I noticed at that I had a missed call, my phone was on vibrate and that I was in a jobsite so did not hear or feel it ring. My appointment was for 7:30. I returned the phone. The call was from the AMPM tech. He explained he called and since I did not answer to confirm he went on to the next job? I stated my appointment is not even until 7:30, you called in 7:10? He then said he reached the location and that I wasn't there so he moved on, which was a flat out lie. I'd been in the home since earlier that morning and he had never come by. I said when is it out here as I've an appointment, '' he said I have moved on to the next job so you'll just need to wait. I got the exact same run around and requested to speak with a manager. Horrible customer support, I would not recommend this company to anybody.
OK, so had to find a locksmith to unlock a employee's car. Called and gave. This property is hard to miss. 50 minutes after being quoted 45 minutes to the locksmith nobody has ever shown up. The worker had been called by them, also gotten the exact same advice from him , where to meet him and the address. They were on the way. The guy said he'd tried to call the worker when he had to phone them back, but the phone went to voice mail. . Said my amount had been tried by them, and was no response. . Odd how my phone has been next to me the entire time, if there was a call with a problem or questions! The guy also said he'd driven by the front of the property, but had not seen our worker, he stated he had been 10 minutes off again, but would double ... Not possible as he had been standing out front to make sure he watched when the locksmith came.
$160.00! Considering how late they were, the purchase price should happen to be discounted from courtesy. Will never be using this company again! Find somebody else, if you're in a hurry, or need dependable and honest service! You won't find it !
Deceitful and dishonest. Don't use this company. . .they quote lower prices so they can get the appt you charge whatever they want. Spend the money and get a firm that is reputable not this one!!!
Quoted me service call and $20-$25 per lock. Talked to them 3 times until they came out and they neglected to inform me there are a $70 labour fee. The only great thing that they did was give me a quote so that I could tell them to forget it, before they did some work.
So I locked myself and was searching for a fast response time to get back on the road. Fortunately, I did not have to be stuck in the middle of a parking lot or what not and had been at home. He sent the dispatch because of his technicians out, and spoke with Jeremy the owner and told me it'd take 20-40 minutes to function there. Regrettably I heard nothing so I phoned and he apologized his technicians didn't receive the job listing and since it was a malfunction. They came and so, I waited to come by, and it took about 30 seconds stick on a wire, and then to pump a blood pressure cuff like pad behind the window. He stated I would get a discount, although jeremy was receptive to my anger since I had an appointment to make. The technician when done quoted me the occupation for 100 dollars, but this was ridiculous. To begin with, he didn't give me the quotation like Jeremy said he'd, before starting. I know that the locksmith that came out, Eran, was essentially contracted so they receive a portion of the cut and AMPM locksmith is the broker, so there was a breakdown in communication between both of these guys. Regardless, the yelp coupon was utilized by me also and that I negotiated the price down to a REASONABLE price that was similar to the other prices I saw about 70 dollars. Overall, Jeremy the owner (agent ) is really sensible and is willing to please his customers. I could tell he wishes to continue to work hard at his business and that is appreciated by me. Best of luck to these guys!
I went back and looked over my review, after getting a notice from the owner. There are several people and it was. AMPM at this working under this license has an A and they're indeed licensed. Unfortunately was that one. The work was farmed out to a company that was different. The person above me said she was charged 139.00$ for a car opening and she thought it was worthwhile. On this particular day I drew on a bad lot and had a really terrible experience. After taking a look at the other testimonials that were filtered I noticed others did too. The operator might be a terrific man but I didn't meet with him. Hopefully the person did or never I did fulfill no longer works there. 25 testimonials about 1/3 are terrible. His reviews are positive if you do give them a shot, request the owner himself helps you out. I'll stick with my regular locksmith at El Cajon.
The company's owner, jeremy completely ripped me off! Then he stopped answering the telephone once I wanted my money back. DO NOT USE THEM. This guy is a jerk that is totaly.
I dropped the key to my pickup truck's cover and my husband was NOT happy. So I googled locksmith and made an appt with AMPM Locksmiths to come to their place on Silverton Ave. On the phone they said it'd be about $25. Once it was being worked on by the worker, we understood this lock was different than the usual lock that is usual, it is a key that is longer, spring loaded, and double sided. After a while of messing with the lock, he chose to simply try to produce a key. He managed to HAND CARVE a brand new key for me personally, and POP! The rear opened up! Now I knew this was going to charge greater than $25, but I was not concerned about the money when he was going to fix my issue. After about 2.5 hours total, my tonneau cover now closes and opens with ease! I can close it if I wanted to, where I had to wrestle with it for approximately ten mintues to get it to close. I'm so totally pleased with the work which they did, and my husband can be so I'm out of the dog house! For additional keys, upkeep, your re-keying, and labor $160 had been billed. Which I think is totally reasonable for the worth of this fix! I'm so excited, now I can actually utilize the rear of my truck that I will not be able to get it shut. I didn't grab the employee's name, but he had been patient, nice, and knew what he was doing.
On the phone, I explained that it would have to be replaced and drilled. They told me it would be about $60.00, but no more than $75.00. They scheduled the appointment. I head out to run errands, and they called saying that they needed to move up the appointment to 1:30pm. I skipped a few errands and got back before 1:30. I then get a call saying they're running and certainly will be there in twenty minutes. Thirty five minutes later the guy shows up. Annoying, but I can get it over. What I can't get over is that it cost $139.00 to substitute a stupid little lock that required the guy 10 minutes. There was a $65.00 drilling charge they"forgot" to tell me about over the phone. I would have drilled it myself had I known it would be much. Changed the appointment twice and were late, and they billed me MORE THAN DOUBLE the first quotation. Should have gone yelp before I called them:(
