I am one of those husbands that fixes a flow, and feels crappy.
I was both amazed and unphased As soon as I got there. They have. Keys, locks, safes.
I won't give you what lead up to me replacing all 15+ door handles in my property, but it ended with me needing to get exactly the same key I had for the front of my house to go in the newer garage door lock.
So I did what any locksmith could do: purchase Amazon parts and look up YouTube's.
I gave him my cylinder, and he repaired it in a jif, and that I left only ten bucks poorer. He was a bit curt, but that is probably how I would act if someone unsuccessfully attempted my occupation out of parts from the Internet, so... I could empathize.
You can bet your butt I'll be back , humbling myself if I have a key/door problem I fail . Their skill is what's going to win my organization, here even if they are a bit cranky.
He said,"Come on down."
So I needed to put my tail between my legs and say,"Would you help me?"
The part I got from Amazon got me but it missed some components. The mechanics broke.

Helpful employees, hours seem a little off on yelp. Yelp remained they were open till 7pm on Wednesday but that I stopped by at 615ish and they had been shut. I was out in under 5 minutes for about $ 6 and had 4 important copies. Would recommend.

Called them to fix a deadbolt. Initially I called a number and got an person who I felt was a con artist. Showed up at a van and attempted to get me to pay tens of thousands of dollars simply to rekey my doorways. Fortunately they were shipped by me on their way without a doubt. I had some friends attempt to change deadbolt and we messed it up. I saw an advertisement for American lock & key from the magazine. They Were upfront of what the fees would be, on the phone. The gentlemen got to work and pulled up at a legitimate van. Prices where so reasonable. Even less than I thought they'd be. I recommend saving this business in your phone in case. Downriver lives. I phoned and they had been here in under 20 min. Never have a locksmith come to your home unless you know they're a legitimate business.

I needed to change the guards in the house of my mom and has been cared for by American Lock and Key. In about an hour, I had made, cutting the number of keys down from 5 to 2 for simple access. Great job.

I put off after hammering the keys taking at a small secure for 6 mo. It took the best man 5 minutes and $10.00 to hook me up!!!! I never get fair friendly and fast service ???? I will recommend you from now on!!!!!!

Dave was excellent in terms of start-to-end, mindset and workmanship of this service call. For a holiday weekend like Memorial Day, it made my day 100 percent better.

They've gotten so rude I will not go there, although there was a time when I would have suggested that this location. Wife and daughter were treated bad on occasions, not good business

These guys sure know exactly what they are doing. Brought my Dodge Caliber it's key that was new which I got on line, and they did it!
Fast, great, and welcoming service I strongly advocate.

I showed them my door lock & asked how they can help me out and moved in. The man seemed dumb based rather than offering to come and mend it & I was told by him exactly what he would do it that he had been me. I'm not a man, you guys are the pros & that's why I was there.

They were quick and it cost me about $50 to appear and get my keys not awful.

American Lock and Key's Scott, lubricated, and corrected of the deadbolts in my house that is . Everything runs on each door. Scott was knowledgeable and very efficient, came punctually. Their estimate was very accurate and clear. They are highly recommended by me.

These men get it right. And they are directly across the street from Target close Libbie. I had no idea they had an office in Midtown. I've never had a single problem with any of the keys (are usually do using the keys created at other places like Home Depot or Walmart...). They're also great for changing the locks.

I had an experience with this company. They gave me advice on how I could save money, and accomplish my goal of getting car keys and 2 brand new. I truly appreciated workmanship and their courtesy, and of course their professionalism. I saved over $150. Fantastic employees that is professional and business. Max is"The Person"!! Inc.. I can not believe I'm writing an overview of a place. Mackeral - these guys are wonderful. The most knowledgable people I have ever seen in this company by far. I threw them after another locksmith recommended I go see them if I wished to solve my issue a couple curveballs. They know their stuff bigtime. If you need anything more complicated than a house key made I recommend utilizing Key and American Lock

Job was done nicely.... No complaints. There were a few time delays, but may or may not have been the company's responsibility.... Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Customer support and friendliness of contractors and staff is good. Recommend this provider.

Stopped into have car keys replicated, and remotes. I was greeted instantly, and the man knew precisely what I needed. He took the opportunity to instruct me on what he do. He let me know beforehand what it would cost, then went right to work. I waited in their comfy lobby for under 10 minutes, and I was set. Everything works great and I paid precisely what he anticipated. It was refreshing to see a conventional locksmith still in business... I will definitely be back for all of my lock requirements. .

Receive a remote engineered and we went here to get an automobile key. My wife had called ahead to ensure that they did laser cut keys (they do), and she was quoted $30. The individual at the counter confirmed the key cut on and then said it would be $10 for the key and $40 because it is $ 30 when we came. I've not ever had a locksmith not include the material in the purchase price. He attempted to program the remote he was unable to do because he explained there was a problem with his machine not functioning correctly. I know that these things occur, but the worst part about the encounter was the locksmith's mindset. He was condescending and rude to us. There are loads of locksmiths and I will choose to use somebody else in the future.

Fast, easy and friendly to work with. Came out on a Sunday to correct a busted Kwikset lock. Brought in a difficult key to duplicate and they could duplicate the key which locksmiths couldn't do.

Went in today to have some secrets made that"in accordance with other people" would not have been in a position to make. The clerk at the counter was fine, efficient, and quite fast! I will definitely recommend this company and use them in the future, ideally with bigger jobs! Thank you!!!

One phone call and a fast trip to the shop fixed my problem and it had been clear that the team knows their stuff.
I called American Lock & Key because I needed a part. Mike and I spoke on the phone and he affirmed they had the part. He made sure that the part was the replacement thing that was correct once I came. In addition, he did a fantastic job vs safety locks that are higher so when I substitute my doorway, I believe I'll upgrade to something more stable.

Business - don't trust. Called them for re-key - we gave complete detailed information on lock setup - $ 190, daylight service was quoted by them.
It is considered despicable business practices by me by American Lock of providing a quote, doubling the cost when they get there, and leaving you if you do not pay their rates.
I phoned owner - no help - didn't care what the estimate was.
Tech gets there hours late and says"job will probably be over $400". I ask to honor first quote. I offer $250. Guy gets rude and leaves.
I phoned another locksmith that arrived evening rates, in 90 minutes, and $150 for the identical work billed. He was taken by Just 45 minutes after on site.
After waiting all day for American Lock, then they left us stranded at 6pm with an amazing apartment.

Today, very impressed by my visit. I asked and asked a handful of questions regarding the ignition and key system of my vehicle and all were answered with very direct and honest feedback.
Highly recommended!
I immediately made my way down to their own shop and was fixed (2 new keys cut, and also lock tanks washed out) in under 30 minutes and now have a perfectly functioning/starting automobile for an extremely reasonable price.
