A month or so later, he awakened by to adjust some small things that needed adjusting as the home had settled and the front door had begun to sag a bit and the catches on the doorway were getting out of alignment; he didn't charge us for this follow up visit to tinker with and realign everything. Very affable guy who is really great at what he can and who is into rendering customer service.
Jeff is fantastic. We wanted the locks changed immediately because heaven knows how many subcontractors had keys to our new home when we bought our new building home. Jeff literally fulfilled my family an hour after closure and re-keyed everything for us. I also asked him to leave his professional opinion on how we can best upgrade the safety of our doors, and he had suggestions that we had him install.

Excellent locksmith service. I left the appointment earlier in the week and promised that the locksmith was efficient and installed two cylinder locks and rekeyed all exterior doors to one key. Actually he was able to make one key from an image on my smartphone. I will use Anchor in the future and highly recommend them for your needs.

The owner is very cool, price is very good and service is top notch. I'd key/lock issues at my UPS Store, and he had been there to save me at no time after during day and after again at night. Jeff came right when he said he would, regardless of time period to wait just like most providers. He was extremely professional, even carrying his shoes off before entering the house to get the job done. He re-keyed locks installed a brand new dead bolt for a door and has been in and out in a timely manner without leaving any mess behind. He provided guidance that saved us a little money in the meantime which was a gesture to us. Should you want a locksmith to do an expert job, look no further than this company.

Depending on the excellent yelp reviews, I called the company to rekey several locks. I spoke to a technician and he was professional and really friendly. The price seemed fair although I didn't get estimates. The technician was able to come and was done in no time. I would definitely give a try to this business if you are in need of a locksmith.

Anchor was given a call based on reviews on here and Angies List by me, and I couldn't be more pleased with this service. Jeff came punctually and rekeyed 7 locks, tightened a loose toaster, and mended the path of a deadbolt which had been installed upside down in just over 30 minutes - no mess, no messing about. He was a true professional and the price was reasonable. Support a business! This one deserves to stick around.

All in all, a very pleasant experience... I would recommend giving them a phone. As a plus, if you enjoy supporting small, local companies, they're locally (Bowie) possessed, and have been in operation for 40 years... They also did not have a problem installing a lock that I had purchased at Lowe's... a few locksmiths I predicted wanted to charge their overtime rate since they weren't providing the lock.
The tech was educated, and professional. He got the job done fast, and explained his job process prior to performing anything, and paused to explain when a little bit of further work needed to be performed (drilling to adjust for the difference in lock manufacturers ). When all was completed, he offered to vacuum up the dust from the drilling...
I called Anchor on a Monday to ask about changing out my front door locks, since the ones in the door were the ones from when my house was assembled (back in 1965 or so)... We set an appointment for Wednesday.

Based on the truth that they are nearby and reviews, I emailed through Yelp for quotes. I received a reply in a timely manner. I called and scheduled an appointment and the next day I needed to reschedule. Jeff assured me it wasn't an issue. He did a fantastic job -- and very quickly and showed up on time. Highly recommend!
