It's complete bait. They give you the price and you wind up overpaying. My main was locked in my car, $25 was quoted by them and I ended up paying $150. They gave bullshit motives and asked for an explanation and tried calling back and left it at that. With this company- Just. Don't.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. I paid them $600 to fix because I had been told it came with a warranty, and replace the ignition of my car using a brand-new ignition. I started having problems with it in a year, and now, less than a half and a year later, it has stopped working. I contact them to ask my warranty be respected and they tell me my"one-year warranty is up" On a brand-new automobile for $600?!?! I will be filing a complaint. This company is in the company of scamming and ripping people off as frequently as they could during their time of need as is clear from the other reviews here.

Came out and said then I explained that it was picked and he couldn't pick the lock he said he could try for an outrageous cost and the. Fees me for doing nothing a service charge

Bait and switch. When he came, the decision I was provided was a"particular item of equipment" which would start my door without doing damage....for $250. To which I consented the alternative was to drill out the lock. $180 flat speed (what happened to the"hourly" rate?) . THEN if I paid cash he said, it would conserve the'credit card' charge. They did not mention that. So I hurried to the ATM. When got back (5 minutes later), he had busted off the lockset.
BEWARE! Do NOT call this provider. They're hard core bait and switch, who prey on people in distress.
I was quoted a $30 service charge, and an hourly rate.

I was able to program the appointment, as soon as the tech left, I called the number. No one replied. I called another number on the reception, 248.808.4148 and spoke with Jordan. Initially he said I never should have been quoted which starting point and it is the holidays. I advised the appointment on a day which wasn't a vacation. He said after he had had a chance to speak with somebody, he would call me back. He did not. I said that the promotions on the site service call and 15 percent off new residence lock setup and phoned back. He advised me to phone him the next day. I did and he said he hadn't got a response to his. These were discounts advertised on the site. In passing I said the job that was shoddy, and I do not even believe I heard me.
Terrible experience. I called to get a quote to have a deadbolt installed. I was advised there was a $29 service charge and setup starts at $32 bucks (or somewhere around that). I inquired what would cause it to go up and the individual stated it depends on the total amount of labour. I told him I'd supply the lock and the holes had to be drilled. I was very specific because I wanted a number. He reiterated the number.
I'll be calling back today to get some money back.
The tech appeared at the door, came out and stated $225. I had the lock that day, so I said fine. When he completed his shoddy work (the lock is not even flush with the door), I requested him whom to make the check out to. The site indicates all forms of payment are accepted. That is not true. Checks are not accepted by them. He said cash or credit card, but they charge an extra 10% fee for credit cards. I didn't have that sort of cash on me and my lender is nowhere near me, therefore I had to pay with my credit card.

Treacherous business guy. If they come to you, Cost doubled.

This has been the interaction with a company I have ever needed. The impolite"locksmith" who only mumbled under his breath, began breaking down my door the moment he showed up without even talking to me. I felt like this man spoke no english, so I only let him do his"job". I was very confused at this time, being that I have waited over an hour and it is pitch black. This man had no flash light and can be pounding the door, dividing the wood of the door and doorframe. He mumbled words in anger, but he could not be understood by me. He breaks my door, and I get my money to cover him ($65, because I was going to provide a $11 tip). He then states its $185!!!! I'm flabbergasted now. I ask him how this is, and he states that the lock has been"hard". What in the world? It required him 3-5 minutes. He BROKE my door. I was at this stage about to go off, but I didn't wish to lose my s@t facing my neighbors, also paid the scam artist. Afterwards, the company who'd quoted me the cost is called by me originally, and they stated they will start looking into, but seemed unconvincing. When looking it up online, I find out that it's basically a scam. Sick. I would not ever call any of these companies (one being the dispatch service) ever again, and would rather break a window then cope with these people.

I locked myself out at around 7:30 in the morning. I googled this and a 24/7 locksmith service was who was dispatched. Their website listed a simple charge of $35 along with the entire fee was $110 including"service fee and tax". There's no sales tax on providers in Michigan. Because I had to enter my house, I was stuck. I called to complain to the company and then complained to the tech. Was confrontation and equally rude.

We had ASAP replace a lockset in August, the knob never turned and it completely broke in October. We stated they'd be there Monday and phoned them to come out . They wouldn't answer their phone and never came, we abandoned messages to get them call us and they never returned our calls. My husband called from a work number (different caller ID) and they answered and said someone would be outside that night between 4-5, no one showed up and they won't answer the phone. I wish we would have read all those reviews on ASAP Locksmith before we called them. I will take them and am reporting them. These people would be the worst and should not be allowed to scam folks. I would also give negative stars to them.

So I go to pay the $35 I had been told he says $250 and it would cost for them to come out. FOR WHAT!!!!! I had been told 35 my door is bankrupt. What a ripoff firm!!!!! . I have a detached garage that doesn't have a support door so the only way in or out is through the door. I hit on my garage door opener and it went up about a foot, so I hit it and it went down. Hit it to open and about a foot, so I crawled underneath the door and disconnected the opener, so I get my car out and could lift the door, and the door slammed shut. I couldn't lift it, it was too heavy. I'm stuck indoors, the windows are too high for me to clilmb out, I'm 60, it is known by me when I fell I'd break something. So I looked up on my telephone"garage door repair" and called a couple of numbers. This one stated they could get someone out in about 20 mins. OK. He is not a garage door technician, he's a locksmith!! I question the reason why they sent a locksmith and he explained off they did not tell him I had been locked IN the garage however they do doorways. He gets on the telephone with a door technician and they speak, he reattaches the opener, keeps hitting the button until the door eventually opened I could find out the car, and then closes the door back to the original foot off the ground and states don't use it until you get it fixed. duh!!!

Was locked outside. Person on phone said tech was 29 tech and service call would call and show up in 25 min. They arrived in over an hour. Tech said he would have to drill a hole in my lock cylinder. I okayed cylinder and it has been removed. This took 5 minutes. As the additional charge was likely to be an additional $200 + cylinder was not substituted. Bill for service cost and also to drill hole in cylinder was $214. Tech would not take anything but cash or an additional 10 percent over $214 for credit card. Tech then said he would"follow me to an ATM" if I did not need the additional charges. I got in car and he followed me to my bank where I gave him the cash. He was not happy to mark"compensated" on my receipt. Cost, service was absurd and misrepresented and shady method of handling business. Meanwhile I have to have lock fixed. ASAP sucks

I wish I could give them negative celebrities. A lot of crooks. I have turned them and all of you should also. Long story short took. 2 day to fix a hours worth of work. Kept saying and calling they'd be
. They stated they installed a new garage door opener for $479 one would hope so. Next morning doorway available never came back . Called Sears on Monday morning didnt need to handle them anymore. Sears had to substitute the opener stated it was put in wrong. They exchanged it showed up on time was there an hour cleaned up their mess left a NONE along with two openers of. Tried to call them and tell them that their opener was defective and I want to speak to a supervisor. Kicker is BBB states their address on file is a fake....Tried to call from another number for address they have mad and they dont need an address They're cellular....DO NOT TRUST them

I would never recommend this organization. Because he walked in front door without knocking he had been unprofessional. I was quoted by him over the phone after being dispatched by a different corporation. When he came to our house the quotation was more than twice for no work. When I explained that was he cut the price and inquired if that was great. Needless to say we did not use this organization.

This place is such a scam. They were unprofessional an ripped off me, he was over 40 minutes . Showed up in identification, no uniform or an unmarked car. He broke my car and told me a lower price than he actually charged me. Avoid at all costs.

The technician had little command of the english language and was rude uneducated. The tech's appearance was cluttered and unkept. He wore shorts which hung low on his torso his red shorts were disagreeable and visible to see. I needed my lock changed on my security storm door. This dufuss attempted to remove the lock by prying off it instead of unscrewing the two screws onto the lock . My door was damaged by him and stopped and also did it the correct way when I said it to him as to why he wasn't removing the lock in the correct way. The technician gave me only 1 key to my lock. Because he was not considering giving me that was really odd I needed to ask him. People be certain you get all the keys which include your new lockset to make sure you and your possessions are secure and know. You will be overcharged by them. They'll tell you one price initially and then tack on extra fees. Checks aren't accepted by them. They won't tell you this when they contact you before coming to your residence eventhough it's clearing published on their receipt. I will never use Asap Locksmith . I save one big hassle and also would avoid them.

Make certain before they touch anything of yours, to find a quote. I had been charged an arm and a leg to get 20 minutes worth of effort to resolve a lock. He wanted $120, and after j laughed and said you put in WD40 took some screws out and put them back, '' he said $90, ok. Just pulling #s out of thin air. Quite disappointed how these men feel they can make lawyer/Dr kind money for something I should have done myself for free. Not certain if this is this joke of a company or common practice. Buyer beware.

My spouse called this business for me. It took them over 50 minutes. To arrive from the time that they stated they're en route. The total cost was $75 cash to unlock the door to my house (which they were able to do in less than 5 minutes ), but they charge 6% more should you use a charge card. I don't recommend this business!
