Save your time and move elsewhere. It appears to be closed. Number on the door to call the owner/ locksmith he's unprofessional and impolite. That I go to see him coming and I showed up was closed I had a distant for my vehicle. He respond exactly what do you desire. I told him I had a distant for my make didn't look interested. Told me he didn't have time another day to come. Save your time and headache and go to another location.

I'm joyful and EXTREMELY satisfied. His prices are much cheaper than the dealer for a processor or"transponder" key. He's personable and happy and it left me in a great mood.

Automobile Authority was Had a chauffeur which was locked out for the shuttle bus' rear compartment. We found that Automobile Authority was down the street and talked also to bring down our bus to repair it and to woman which was very agreeable.

I had a problem which I went to 7 others to address. Our buddies at Auto Authority were the only ones who wound up able to assist me.
These men are my first phone anytime I want a key for my cars or Vespa.

My story:
I have a gray market car that the local dealer won't service. I took my secret and the dealer there could not help. 4 locksmiths in the country of origin could not assist, and three locksmiths could not help me replicate me key. No sweat, auto Authority. I did need to deliver an key, but this has been pretty easy to get.

Auto Authority Lock & Key is a great local business I just had a keys cut and the staff was super friendly and checked to be certain that the new keys will work 100% before I left that I shall continue to have them care for all my lock and key needs in Costa Mesa.

The friendliest key experience I've ever had! I had a car key which has been quoted to me.
I called and was awarded the advice I had and offered at the cost. I came and was immediately taken care of.

Otherwise this place has been top notch. Polite priced. I had also called before they opened and left a voice message which was returned on the day. Definitely recommend!
The sole reason is that I find the website confusing regarding creating an appointment. It gives the hours and suggests that an appointment is necessary on Sunday. However I discovered that an appointment isn't needed unless you're having a difficult key cut, such as a Porsche key. I think that is accurate.

I have to mention that I had the key duplicating expertise of my life at Auto Authority! Seriously!! Not only did I get two (2!) Odyssey keys done for under half of one but I have some of the very best customer service and great conversation on the market! They give company and do work that is amazing. Plus, he's a perfectionist!! What more can you ask for!?!? Highly recommend

This locksmith I was very disappointed with. Here the narrative, I had two new automobile door locks (that I had two keys each when I came in)changed to match the ignition switch key that I brought in with me. But later I found out I bought the lock that was wrong . I tried to go back to see if I have replacements are made by them so I can send them back on where I bought them from or can regain. I can have them replaced with the right locks to the doors. They were going to charge me $20 set up fee and $15 each key. Said when altering the lock configurations they offer 2 sets of keys. Btwit cost me $60 for nothing. Thanks for nothing!

Fantastic customer service and fair! Stores tried to rip off me. I needed my chip car rekeyed and the chip. $275 was saved by me by arriving here. The key has functioned great no issues using it, and he gave me my old key, drilled a hole in it place it on a key chain for me to keep for an emergency to unlock the doors if necessary. Great man! I'll use them again!

They attempted 3 times to cut crucial, none of them worked. Took days to acquire trim that was key, gave 15 minute note to me that key was ready on Thursday night, they're closed. I showed up Monday, not open at submitted time. Others showed up saying they had issues too.

Prevent! I walked with a car fob that was functioning. The one thing was that the small plastic piece that holds the fob to the key ring bankrupt. All I had was that the casing. Following the key guy fumbled around rather than costing $20, with the shell I was forced to purchase a new fob and that the fob suddenly didn't work anymore -- so, it price $43.00!! It appears very mysterious to me the'brains' of the fob suddenly stopped working the moment the guy got his hands on it.
Shame on this enterprise!

$2 per key and takes less than 30 minutes!

Needed to have a key made for my 2005 vw bug once I dropped my car key and got my car towed for their shop. Everybody quoted me my prices and was nice over the phone. 150 for the job and 77.50 for the key which is waaaaay cheaper than any dealership. They even had distant keys to your own vw bug. It just took a half and an hour to perform and they clarified the procedure completely. Entirely going for my key and when I need a key made for my car.

This is the place additional locksmiths send you when your own key can't be made by them. Only come here and save a lot of time.

Scoured Yelp to locate a decent locksmith, also came across these guys.
They are situated in a sketchy centre in Costa Mesa, right next to the 405. They are extremely efficient, cordial, and reasonably priced. For two house key copies, it was around $4.
The only con for me is that they have a credit card minimum that is $10, and that I did not possess the time/desire to seek out an ATM. Aside from that, I would definitely come here for my key-copying needs!

Therefore, if you've got a lot locks to do, it's a better value.

Very friendly. Came to our home within 30 mins out of our telephone and cared for rekeying our house for 8 locks. highly recommend. Affordable. Service fee is greater than many so they ended up being less, but they charge a lot less for the real locks.
They're $12 per lock and $65 service charge.

If I had a emergency, would most probably come back.
However, they were cheaper than what the automobile charges, so that I can not be whining.
