Here is THE ONLY PLACE to go if you need anything related to a lock, keys etc.. Very knowledgeable owner, great pricing and excellent service. I've used them several times and have not been disappointed!
People skills. The kind of business that thinks like they are idiots with reduced IQ talking to clients will result in a business relationship. Rather than trying to teach and inform the uninformed/ignorant, this business starts off antagonist and accusatory... Rather than a constructive discussion, the encounter talking to this businessman was sort of like having to hear some one-man monologue in which the individual picks a fight with you in his head, then rambles these things that in the conclusion of the day suggest you're dumb and he is brilliant. You deal and listen, then explain that the individual is far off. But, ultimately, you just reach a point pretty quickly that makes you wonder why you don't just hang up already, because there's no way you're going to hire this business -- no matter if the useful pieces of information the man had to share in between his rambling and antagonism actually made some sense. I hope never to be so desperate. All of this takeaway within a 4 min sales call. Not impressed whatsoever. It is my hope that this feedback will permit the businessman so the precious pieces of advice he did have to share in between his antagonism could result in more sales and commentary like 43, for sales calls to rethink his approach and style.
They are the business in Bedford Region,They shouldn't be permitted to work on almost any locks that they will provide you price over the phone then will come over having an attitude and it's dumb personality overweight, pants dangling, with buttocks throughout the lawn and very unprofessional and they will raise their costs when they begin the job.
I'm posting again because of approaches and his abuse unprofessional antics.

My hope is that this note is putting him on notice that the customer is king as we will not tolerate that and to seize and desist from calling and harassing customers.

The technician and the proprietor of Bedford Lock Micheal was calling me since I've posted the review on yelp.
We've got alot of issues with people not giving us 2 keys when they trade a car. They are always there for us although sometimes they need to be reprogammed. Highly recommended these guys
Someone while we were away watching our dog got the key stuck at the doorway. Chervis knew exactly what the problem was and came out in a couple of hours. He let us understand that our clever lock was misaligned and caused these issues and fixed it. He fixed the alignment of this lock and we got keys made. It was nice to have sorted out though I was away!
My husband and I purchased locks that were excellent . We wanted all of our locks at our lake house to be exactly the same so we just needed 1 crucial for all. I went to get 6 keys. When I went in three guys were working inside not recognizing me. After a couple of minutes a man came over and I asked to be produced. He started making them when the owner rudely explained why did you buy locks in a hardware store? I replied that I didn't understand it was cheap, '' he explained ya lock and three guys laughed. As I only got keys 10, I felt ashamed. My locks are. I had been sporting a 1000.00 Burberry coat, he had been sitting on a chair with his ass crack hanging out, filthy and rude. Please do your self a favor, do not use this particular place. There are to many people out there who are nice and will appreciate your enterprise.
Yay! Locks done in no time. Fantastic service. Rob was very pleasant and Mike was fantastic about the phone scheduling. Highly recommend And quite reasonably priced!
We had a basement door along with the lock was moved by the carpenter in the old into the door. One day the lock froze. These men immediately found problems and came out. Mainly one part had neglected and the door tolerance was away. They did a fantastic job modifying the door and immediately replaced the part. It's great there are craftsmen around. Very pleasant and patient.
Missing a set of secrets recently and needed to make copies... I had been in and out in less than 10 minutes. And with all of my keys that are brand new! Price was very reasonable and the owner was friendly and helpful. Will be moving here from now on and will highly recommend to others!
Upgraded in 2016. I have been back several times, and watched the owner bullying a couple. I believe it his personality and he doesn't mean any harm. Upgraded to 3 stars because he is technically very good.

Had a great experience with Chevis out of Bedford Lock and Key. Chevis and I joined by phone the day before, to what I needed, he listened, asked questions about every one of my locks and in the end he gave me a more detailed estimate of how far all would be with parts and labor. He worked fast and efficiently, came in the morning punctually and had a fantastic attitude. He noticed one of my locks had a bit that has been jammed -- instead of offer to replace the lock, he offered to replace the piece with one that he had in the truck and charge me the used price. I appreciate he was of the overall cost. I recommend Chevis out of Bedford Lock and Key, it had been a pleasure.
What else is there. Non, hard working people. If you like disrespecting craftsman, go to some place that hires lower locksmiths and they will ask"would you like fries with that!"
I sent customers there, when I was in the house alarm and security company. Never heard anything but thanks to customers I shipped there.
They fixed me a new one for roughly half what everybody else wanted, when I lost of my low tech keys for my Japanese automobile that was ancient. It was approximately $60 or 80 or so.
Like others have said, the proprietor is a condescending person with a very sour attitude. IMHO take your business elsewhere.
