Cristi went above and beyond to assist me and my wife fix a leak under our kitchen sink. He replaced the pea snare and sealed it. He made sure by checking from the crawl space there wasn't any water damage to our hardwood flooring. He was easy to use and professional, comprehensive. Benjamin Franklin is blessed to have him!
After finding them on the list of Angie on repairing a shower unit, I called this company for 2nd comment. They came out and informed me it needed a replacement component and not an unit as my long time plumbing company had informed me the day before. Long story short... the labor and replacement component they installed only cost less than 1/3 of what labor and entire new unit could have cost. His associate, Alex and the tech were very professional. Looks like I'll be using them in the future for any related pipes demands vs my long time standing pipes provider.

Also, I used one of their sister companies - Mr. Sparky - and was very happy with their work and pricing. But, I will never use them either since they are owned and run by precisely the exact same firm as BF.
Experts: - they responded and arrived on schedule
They are not going to see $915. I will not never use them , I'll tell anybody I know not to use them. No ethics. Zero customer service. Mediocre work.
If I could give zero stars I would.

Disadvantages: - they billed me $915 for maybe $300 worth of work (pull and replace one bathroom and change the fill valve on a different )

Avoid. Go with Hardline or even Dr. Drain, forget Ben Franklin.
Don't use. I wasted 27 minutes on the phone trying to make a scheduled appointment. The call centre people were impossible to comprehend! 1 man was marginally literate. If that is their first point of contact, it's a *FREAKSHOW*.
Service and incompetent business. The women who tried to look after my account could not understand a single word or number refused to answer some questions until she'd gone through her script. Larry, the manager , also refused to answer the question of whether or not they had time available to help with a three hour project. If I could give them 0 I definitely would. Please use this business, poor businesses will need to go under!
I did everything possible to not call these men. I am not a huge fan of big companies with big overhead and a lot of flash and flare which typically includes overpriced services under given expectations . Evan was very helpful on a number of fronts and was my technician for their year repair maintenance plan because it was so 33, and in fact I signed up. He also reviewed my waterlines sewer line cleanout valve water shut off valve also gave me around shower drain accessibility etc.. I was pleasantly amazed.
Ben Franklin has technicians. I'm not disappointed with them. I have had some issues with scheduling, but with the actual work.
We had an awful experience. Our water heater went out and also a technician came over for a quotation and to finish the job. A quotation was supplied by him but told us he could not due the job because of a bad back. The business should have sent a technician who would have completed the job. The next available appointment wasn't for two days. We called to talk to a supervisor, no return call. I wouldn't recommend this company.
Today josh with Ben franklin plumbing serviced our plumbing issues. Work, gave excellent tips. Ben franklin would be highly recommended by me to anyone who needs a plumber. Josh did a thorough job describing everything he answered all of our queries and did.

Def a bait and switch kind business Ben Franklin!
These men came out to resolve a line. After snaking and video camera that they concluded that line was blocked and needed to be awakened. They gave an estimate of $7300 to me to repair and then charged me $700 only for the assessment. I felt this was very large as all they needed to do was dig down 5 feet and replace a 5" line, so I phoned for a 2nd estimate from a rival. The 2nd estimate from the competition came at $2500, and they had it fixed flawlessly in 24 hours.
Couldn't have been more professional and even my kitties enjoyed him. Service expertise.
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing sent a tech out to perform an annual maintenance in my own water heater. Josh called me before my window an arrived promptly. . He not only did the water heater inspection, but also assessed all the plumbing.
I was not sure exactly what I was getting in to when I called Benjamin Franklin to include air conditioning into my residence. The man they sent over, Ilija, was educated and helpful and put me at ease right away. I will look later on for more of my home improvement needs again to Benjamin Franklin!
Had Evan Johnson come out of Ben Franklin, he did an awesome job, very friendly and knowledgeable. He educated me and gave a great insight on regular upkeep of my water heater that I didn't understand as a first time home buyer. Benjamin Franklin plumbing showed that they cared about their clients and their job and was punctually. For a fast and effective job greatly appreciated, thanks Evan.

Pilot light on hot water heater will not stay lit. Morning called at 7:30 am Friday, was given a guaranteed appointment at 4:45 they stated plumber would be after 5pm and phoned, involving 2-5pm for day. At 8:00pm he showed up, $49 to come in $169, and the doorway to tell me what is incorrect. So at 8:30pm what else can you do? You may as well hold a gun to my head. This is a complete rip off and a lousy organization to take care of people in this way. I tell everyone I know of how bad my experience was and won't ever use them again. The warranty appointment, and also oh means nothing, because if they phone you and tell you that they are likely to be late, in their view it gets them off the hook for not getting there as promised. Thus based on the fact you were called by them they do not need to honor their.

I'd Ben Franklin Plumbing perform an yearly service on all of my plumbing. Michael and josh did an excellent job, were very informative about what to watch for in the future. This is very important to me once we visit Florida, since the place sits empty for months in winter.
I am very delighted with Michael's work and Josh.
Dan and elijah came out to unclog bathroom sink. I'd set up appointment. They stated there is a service charge added so they honored the $89 price I was quoted to what I responded I wasn't told about that. They were professional and have been performed in 15 minutes and courteous. I use them .
So was not Honest when he said he would refund $225 we got our refund. That the refund was promised by him and did nothing about it. Iplan to telephone BBB and'm still waiting.
Be warned if you register a one-year service arrangement with BFP. You will never eliminate Direct Energy. They will haunt you forever. You might think this is a deal that is fantastic. . .if that you wish to acquire telephone number for the remainder of your life. Don't call list does not function and BFP won't intervene. You are on your own.
I didn't realize that I was really buying an arrangement with Direct Energy. I really don't have any problem with any elements of the arrangement. BFP did everything. I just didn't enjoy BFP plumbers.

I contacted (who I thought was BFP) and discussed my support contract. They explained that I had signed a one-year agreement. Okay. I knew. I signed it. It was consented to by me. But, this is when I heard the arrangement had an automatic clause. What? I never agree to anything being revived.
I can't them to stop.
Now I had been on the telephone with Direct Energy for 45 minutes. They acknowledge that I have been calling since March 2016 however, for some reason, nobody will take my phone number. I got home tonight and there's yet another message from Direct Energy for me. They predicted AFTER I spent 45 minutes with them and after I phoned BFP to complain of Direct Energy. Icalled BFP and informed them that I'll never, ever, ever, use them due to Direct Energy. NEVER.
This is when I heard my contract was with Direct Energy rather than BFP. I had been told that, in order to stop the"automatic renewal" I had to cancel the contract before it automatically renewed in May 2016.
Don't renew in 2016." In March 2016, I received a notice that my contract had been renewing. I phoned and said,"Don't renew." So I really did. Then the calls began.
The fantastic news is Direct Energy merely spam calls you between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (EST) M-F. The good thing is. . .it sign back up to your service or is going to do this until you die.
Be forewarned before you sign a one-year service arrangement with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.
They called me every fourteen days. The robocalls were always this exact same. I had to call Direct Energy due to an"urgent" charging thing between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (EST).
I returned the calls. Each time, I told them: Don't renew. However, the calls kept coming. I emailed. Then I delivered a letter. Then the calls started coming. Then twice per week. When I predicted, so, I became more obnoxious. In the 3 months I have been called 32 times by them. 32 TIMES!!!
