Because my satellite tripod, stepped from my RV in windy weather had fallen over. I had been convinced that someone had gone there and out me. Panicked I phoned and they had been here in 30 minutes. The lock couldn't be chosen, but the tech went through a very small window and got in and managed to get the keys and get me back in. I was so thankful and he was sort and very calming during the experience. Offered me a jacket. Thank you for the great service!
I met with them in the front of my house and asked if they required a card. He told me yes and than proceeded to inform me that there was a percent 5 fee to utilize the card. I was he needed money. He asked if there was an ATM close and that he would accompany me there to get cash out. I refused, so he said he would make a call. He did not make any calls, got into his car and came back with his telephone to bill me, without the fee.
30 mins after they showed up. They began to whisper among themselves, when the two gentlemen got out of the car and one guy wrote down something . I explained what happened and as soon as he looked in my generic door handle he told me that it had been the"complicated type," and it was likely to take him a good deal more than usual. I was already suspicious. It literally took him less than two mins to open the door. He handed me. They charged me $117+$19 for the support fee. Why it was so expensive, I asked and he advised me cause it was a lock. I advised him that it did not look complicated when it took him less than two mins. He wouldn't drop the price.
I advised him that is was ridiculous that he work he did and charged me $136 for time. I recommend to anybody will never call them. Shame on me for wanting to assist the"little men "
I unfortunately locked myself. Believing I would like to keep local and not so"big box" I called Best Cost Locksmith. They have been located less than 3 kilometers away. I called and they told me there was a fee to come out and it could be anywhere from $29 and up. Believing I would be into this ordeal around $60 I said okay. They stated they would be outside in 15 min.
