This is a mobile operation. The street from me lives down and I never would have discovered him YELP.
Bill did everything to copy my key. Home Depot didn't have the blank for the infrequent key that therefore I decided to try a local locksmith I needed to get cut. Get it done for me in another couple days and he offered to dictate the blank.
Broke the lock saw the reviews , and decided to give Bill Lorenz an attempt. Good choice. He came over about 45 minutes after I replaced it immediately, predicted, and charged a price. I will definitely call Lorenz with any upcoming locksmith needs.
Called them, obtained a quote upfront. No more"pay me to come out and look at the door then pay me to unlock the door" bs that you get from different places. Because I had been on the way to their next appointment, they fell by in twenty five minutes. Five minutes after I had been in my own room. Definitely telephone them first before going to anyone else. Thanks guys!!
I found that Bill Lorenz was a BBB member using an A+ rating - despite the one review on Yelp! , I thought I'd give him a try.
End result? Perfect install in 40 minutes - $90 service fee (I had my very own lock), and joyful customer. Thank you for the excellent support!
Patrick figured out what was going on with both the old and new lock, clarified the new mysterious features of the new lock - drilled that a strategic gap in the old lock piece (which was actuallt better suited for our purposes) and was also able to shave a bit more from a malaligned hole at the door.
I had difficulty with placing back my sliding glass door handle/lock combo in my door - because it was not aligned correctly.
I'd emailed Bill requesting him. He responded the next day with a question. Today, I didn't get a opportunity to email him back so called. First offI told me I had been calling and that I had emailed and he asked how long ago I emailed him and proceeded to say he left me a voicemail in a negative tone and called me. I told him that I didn't receive a voicemail. I don't put my phone number address. Then he asked what did I need. I told him why I had been calling. He continued by asking since my phone popped up with that place location when I lived in the Annapolis area. I informed him I didn't reside in Annapolis. Then he gave me the quote and ended with"Does that answer your question?" My question is are you currently becoming customers with this particular attitude that is negative unprofessional? He needs no small business.
Bought some skeleton keys from him. We brought in our lock to avoid the service fee that he had been totally cool with. Friendlydown to earth and good support.
