Bill Walter is the best locksmith in Santa Monica. We have known as Bill at least 5 occasions and he ALWAYS gets the job done at a reasonable price. Whether it repairing a door lock is currently repairing a tacky key, or making sure all 3 doors open, Bill can get everything done. If he is available He'll come in a minute's notice, and a friendly, professional company will be delivered by him. They do not make them like Bill Walter any more,"they broke the secret " THANK YOU Bill!

He stopped responding after telling me that he would get back to me in my particular need.
Bill's communicating flatlined and then with me nosedived after promptly responding to my query in detail.
I'm the anomaly in his stellar reviews, but I sure didn't become support.

Not only were the guards changed by Bill but he also provided a degree of security that a person with knowledge and his experience would have the ability to offer. He is nothing short of a modern day hero, and I am quite happy I called him saved me money and time to describing what happened at the first place with the locks and not having to find keys made. And he is happy to help solve the problem so it had been a joy to have him!

Bill can solve any issue that is lock, it seems. He came to look that nobody including my contractor's workers could solve for years. He had it done within an hour and it has worked flawlessly ever since. He's the only locksmith I use now.

Without spending a lot Consistently like local service people called him wanting somebody who could do it, or help in changing a couple of locks. After I sent a couple of photos, he saved me all of the money by encouraging me over the phone to test this, and was available. He is quite fine and it appears that getting things done correctly is much more significant than charging a whole lot. I will work out a significant hint for him, and, without doubt, telephone him. He is 100% mobile, so closing a store up and coming out is no issue.

Can not comment on the ceremony. Called last Saturday, abandoned messages. Waited all day Saturday for some response. It's Monday today and no response still. So I have called a different locksmith. A day, wasted.

Dealing with Bill was a great experience. He is extremely professional and methodical in his job. He did not cut any corners and took his time. He fixed a lock that n't turned properly without my asking. Small details make the difference all, and Bill makes sure everything is accounted for.

Bill was so friendly and warm, yet professional, and loved my dog that I consider an excellent sign in a human.
One thing I think is cool - because among our issues was our key copies Bill created us a few fresh keys. On the keys, his telephone number is engraved so if I lose my key and someone discovers it (and they're smart) they will hopefully call the number, and Bill is going to be able to follow the key back ! How cool!

So I called him up I discovered Bill on Yelp and browse the great reviews. He had an opening the next day so he was in and out within an hour and arrived! And all our lock problems were solved!
I will definitely be recommending Bill to some friend or family in need of a locksmith!
We dealt with some issues that were lock as well as a sticky problem. The lock worked but was more difficult than it should be to enter our house!

Except that it is rare for someone to stand behind their job nowadays so I wanted to admit ethics, I wouldn't have written an overview. Bill was known to me when I informed a friend that I needed help opening an antique etagere that I bought at an estate purchase. I called him and he put up a time to come by. He was very courteous and prompt. Bill let me know that locks that take a skeleton key were not his expertise but he'd give it a shot. He offered a price for a service call that has been sensible but said that there would be no fee if he was unable to unlock the cabinet.
Bill came highly suggested. For all but old locks, I have it. I wish that everybody had his work ethic.
Unfortunately, the lock would not budge after Bill spent an hour using every instrument in his box and working diligently. He called me to another locksmith that he thought had expertise with antiques and did not charge me. Unfortunately, (I won't mention any titles ) others I contacted were much more costly.

Before but I am glad I called Bill and did, I have NEVER thought so many 5 star reviews. First off he is so genuine, he helped me investigate a few alternatives for a gate lock to ensure I'd be happy. Then he helped point me in the right way to buy these custom locks to save money versus trying to upset me. He spent time following installment gave a few safety tips to me even going over what to ensure I knew how to utilize them. Wish I had more work for him!

Wow.. .this is for all my locksmith needs the guy I'll be hiring. Just talked to Bill about the hpone and he's friendly and knowledgeable. He helped talk me to determine what sort of lock I wanted and I'll be all set. I phoned Bill after another company showed in their appointment to take my lock and write down the model number. How Bill helped me over the phone shows what a great guy he is. He seems to actually love what he can. . .he knows so much about locks, it's crazy. Can't wait to hire to put in the modification once it's completed!

I hired Bill to come out and secret a door that had a lock. Since I have owned the home, this door lock had never had a secret, and that I was super stressed we'd have to replace the entire lock, which was beautiful... BUT it was NO problem for Bill. He is professional, kind , fast, and his prices were incredibly reasonable. I have only positive comments - found him and concur with the rest of the reviewers!

Bill's statement says"My objective is to create your locks operate so well, you actually notice them; and to do this at a just and reasonable cost." Bill definitely accomplished his objective. My door is so much more easy to use today that it is like brand new. To yelpers I say: do not squander your time attempting to correct it yourself or looking for another locksmith. You may trust Bill to get it right the first time and his job is guaranteed.

Never thought I'd write a review on a locksmith! I emailed Bill to request an appointment and we started an email chain forth and back to diagnose the problem. He was so helpful in the mails my decision was simple. He was very patient and pleasant After we did settle on a time for him to come out and resolve a doorknob. It was this kind of quick fix (just needed oil) he just charged me for the support call. It might have been the most expensive bit of oil but I gladly paid because I was so happy. I will continue to use Bill for any locksmith needs!

Occasionally Yelp leads you astray it's right on the money. Bill Walter is honest, as talented and type a human being as you'll ever find. He's got the patience of Job in a most reasonable price. I wish more were like him.

Bill is an angel living life as a locksmith. He cares so much and is reasonably priced and so valuable and reliable and has been doing this for a long time and knows his keys and locks. I called him and he managed to get in a few hours to my home. Truly a love! Thank you Bill!

Service was amazing! He called back the same evening and left a message and we were lucky to get an appointment. He revealed a couple of minutes before our scheduled period and immediately recognized the problem with the lock which could lock itself. Within less than an hour it was mended and at am extremely reasonable rate. Couldn't be more thrilled with this type guy. He is honest and straight forward. We will call him again!!
