Wow!! Payless locksmith stones! They answered the telephone swiftly and arrived so fast....Spector the locksmith had the door opened straight away! I didn't have to wait just like with other locksmiths. The cost was super fair. Spector was so nice and it was the best lock outside experience I have ever had... I'm definitely keeping this company as my go to locksmith!!

BEWARE SCAM firm DO Not use these folks quote prices. They offered $15 for quote and wanted $30. Quoted $35 to alter lock and wanted $50. They went back down to $35, when I said I didn't desire service. I told him to leave and paid $15.

WARNING!!! These scammers quoted us one price, then tried charging us double. We didn't cover because we needed to stop them as they were damaging our door! Call Moreno !!
This location is a terrible business!!! and a scam DO NOT CALL THEM, Call Moreno Lock and Key -LRB-310-RRB- 893-9878!! Moreno is a reasonable business and quotations and charges you what he says... and does a great job!!!

Called to get my flat door unlocked. Dispatcher over the telephone quoted $ 15 to send the tech and then $ 45 to me. Technician took to get there.
Terrible business. COMPLETE RIPOFF. Do not use!!
Obviously because I signed up that notepad with the scribbles I have to pay. What an scam. I'm furious. This business needs to be transparent and upfront .
Once he came, he explained there are 2 options: try using a bulge key; then the lock would have to be broken, if that failed. I inquired if the price stayed the exact same for either choice and he said if it breaks, no, there's a discount. Technician then composed some scribbles on a notepad with illegible numbers (apparently the actual quote) which he neglected to talk with me. Technician then banged around with bump key, a screwdriver and some WD40. He ended up BREAKING the bump key off . Then said, today we need to split the lock. He proceeded to split the door handle off to open the doorway.
I said, no, that isn't what the dispatcher said. Technician said, $45 is just the starting price. So he takes down my credit card information on a slip of paper. He begins TEXTING my credit card information on his mobile phone, at which point I said that is and stopped him. He says alright we could take Venmo - therefore I type the name and enter the amount of $100. He says and then stops me, no it is $209!!! He then shows me his scribbles on the notepad which reads 15 for the tech and $175(!!!!) For $145 for breaking the lock and the bump key. He crosses out the line for $145 and states I will not charge you for both the bump key along with the busted lock... therefore he charges me the greater amount even though HE BROKE THE LOCK WITH THE BUMP KEY.

I request over the phone how much it's likely to be to start my vehicle. I was told $15 to send the man out and $45 to open the doorway. He said it was likely to be $ 90 After the locksmith got to my car. What Lexus does not? I tried to reason with people on the phone and phoned back and got nowhere. They told me it was a quote. I'd asked for a price, not a quote or a quote. The girl on the phone was quite rude. Even to the point of telling me I got them mixed up. Oh, and they didn't call or show up when they'd sworn to. Shysters. Stay away from this company if you don't would like to wait around and be ripped away. Thieves. Time to write the BBB.

SCAM. First call to this company: $60 to start your door, we will be there in 20 moment.
15 different calls to this company:"on the way. Be there in a few moments"
Shady individuals doing business that is shady.
90 MINUTES LATER the man finally arrives. Tells me it'll be $95.
Save money and your time In the event that you were smart enough to read yelp before calling.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Overall scam artists. After an hour, someone finally showed up, I phoned dispatch 5 times and was awarded the runaround that was whole once. I was even told by them a different tech got into an auto accident on the way once I called to complain, that looked like a clear lie. As soon as the tech came he told me it'd cost $125-165 and also the service call. When I called the company to inquire why all of a sudden it had been $80-$100 more they said the $45 was only a starting cost, which was not explained at all to me. The dispatchers were incredibly impolite. Ultimately they told me I could pay cash for a cheaper cost (more than I had been quoted) or the tech would shut my door again on me and lock me and my children out again. Perhaps you have felt enraged by a business in my life.
The only real positive was that the technician was quite apologetic for the organization and at least got the door unlocked.

INEXPERIENCED LOCKSMITHS. TOTAL RIPOFF. I hired these folks to fix two locks that were broken in my house. I paid $500 just to learn that now 1 window does not close all of the way, and a sliding door lock won't latch. They also damaged cabinets under my window (a tiny screw hole, and blue ink anyplace that I managed to clean thankfully). I've demanded a refund and some boss named"George" won't call me backagain. So upsetting to have ripped off just like that.

I locked my key in my car around 1140pm, last night, I called and they said that a technician will be there in 20 minutes. It took him around 40 minutes, '' he was very rude and my pal and I needed to help the car opens. Eventually after 30 minutes we have the car opened. On the phone they told me it was $15 to send my car to open. He informed me it was $150, after it opens and my friend talked him down to $135. I had been so tired I only paid it but I told him before that I gave me $60, he just said"well". I called today and the girl said it was $60 also but then informed me and beginning off that they could charge me more. When I knew they were going to rip me off I would not even have called because that's so absurd considering my pal and I needed to help him open my door and that he had been also 20 minutes late and rude. !!!! isn't recommended by highly RIP OFF!

$39 for them had been charged then $189 and to return to open the door!!!
Very bad experience had been told it would be $15 to get someone to come out and $45 to open the door.
When I called back I was told that the supervisor would return my call shortly to walk through the invoice.
Extremely unethical - I know I had been overcharged due to my zip code. I am calling the better business bureau and american express to struggle to get my cash. This service is not recommended by me.

BEWARE BEWARE.If you'd like your money taken, and horrible customer support, this is the place. We had been locked out of our house, and had a tech come to let us in/give us a lock, and were charged $400. We had been LOCKED INSIDE OF OUR HOUSE, although he explained he would have to return and didn't have the parts. I tried phoning and texting no response, the tech. I tried phoning the company to talk with a manager and was told"he didn't have enough time to talk with me" This was honestly among the worst experiences of my life. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews and prevent calling this business at all costs.

Office said if the dude came he threatened to drill it in for the price or he can use his device that is made to available for $165 and price was $15 and $45. . .WTF. Since I made the mistake, I swallowed my pride than give me that shit, however I would of rather the dude rob me.

Work was good but disappointed that the phone quote of $40, ended up at $214! It is a switch lock. He couldn't pick at it ended up with a bulge key. Avg cost is $85. I called the office back and she put me on hold indefinitely.

After I went back inside I phoned and told them I was told over the phone when asking how much it would cost that it is $15 for the service fee + $45 to unlock. The lady I talked with told me this is just a base fee and that their"notes" say"about $45". Then she placed me on hold and the"call got disconnected". I phoned back and she said exactly the exact same thing as before then proceeded to say"nobody asks for a flat rate on the phone". She hung up, as I attempted to explain that I asked for what it would cost for my car. I called the man said"if you understood how much why would you let him unlock the car". I said I understood the price was $60 not $150 until AFTER he raw my car. He said I do not have time for you telephone the manager on Monday.... Even tho the SECOND time I called the lady said she talked to a manager about how much the charged me and said there is nothing we could do.
I phoned and was told the charge for unlocking my car would be $15 and $45. The man came after like 30 mins I was originally told 10-15 mins. He told me it would be $ 135 after my car was unlocked by him in 3 mins. The tech didn't tell me this until after my car was unlocked. I then asked why the price changed and he said it depends upon the car.

It took 45 minutes to arrive and we predicted, he moved to the pier instead of the parking lot next to the pier. Took 15 minutes to him to drill out the lock on the Club on our steering wheel and charged us $260. What a rip off! We would not recommend this company! Too expensive and not worth it.

Before asking service unfortunately I didn't browse the Yelp testimonials. I was told it would take 20 mins to their locksmith and I advised them that I had limited time since I had to visit a meeting. I called them to say that I couldn't wait and had to leave after waiting over a hour. They then told me I had to pay a cancellation fee (which will be more than what I was nominated for the whole job!) , although the locksmith was not nearby. I suggest calling any other locksmith!

This morning really came through for us! Our door knob broke on our front exit so we had been trapped inside our townhouse this morning, that could be dangerous and was scary. Locksmiths stated they might come out in 1-2 hours but Payless Locksmith got someone out to our location right away. David was useful, humorous and amazing -- he climbed in through a window to help free us and our baby. Thank you! Very much appreciated! Highly recommend!
