They got the job and I got some huevos rancheros for my difficulty. All in all, a good morning.
So, for a newly purchased automobile that came with one, I needed to find a key cut that was second. After getting no service (along with a low-key rude phone brush-off) out of a far higher-rated locksmith several blocks off, I gave this place a go. Little, no-frills, round-the-way operation. Guy behind the counter cuts the key, requires my $2.50, and I leave. Try out the key in the car - no dice. Bring it back, simply to learn that there's a chip in the key that has to be programmed in order for it to operate in the ignition (did I mention that I'm going as car-dumb a guy as you are likely to meet?) Guy tells me it will cost $150 and take about 30. I go for this. Bring the vehicle back (Said Mom-and-Pop have been in the back room watching TV) and head next door to Tam's for breakfast. Not 25 mins. Later, my locksmith comes and gets me - that the key is prepared. I pay the guy, push and never look back.
Helped me fixed my back cuz I did not have a secret. . Omg did it less then 20 mins. . . Wonderful cost n fixed my back. .
They're trying to charge me $90 since I called during non business hours.lol. . Because it said OPEN I called
Because they have Hello Kitty keys here, I heard about this place, and my BFF and I are Hello Kitty fanatics!! So I stopped by to see if I could get some keys made and also to have my locks keyed to the same key. I walked in and talked to a woman who said they could re-key all of my locks, but I would have to bring back the locks another day because they were shutting... Ok, no big thing. The following day I will bring them back. I called the following day at 5:40p to see if I could bring from the keys and talked with a man (the owner) and he advised me that it was too late to attract the keys in because they were closed for the day!! I asked him did they alter their final hours each day because yesterday I talked with a woman who informed me that they close at 6:30 every day... He rudely replied that they close between the hours of 5:00 and 6:30, but today they were closing early because no one was on call??? WTF!?!? Who has final hours that change per hour and a half.... After that conversation, I determined that I did not want to do business because they seem inconsistent. Being a Customer Service Manager at a bank, I feel that delivering great customer service is # 1... SO if your searching for that, go else where!!
