Our new era water heater collapsed. No hot water was to be had. But we were led throughout the country and had to rely on a person to help work out the problem, and then, ideally repair it.
Mel Bowers provided service. He took pictures of this water heater where it faltered, to demonstrate. He was subsequently able to find the manufacturer to swap it out. Conducting business with utmost integrity, the fee incurred was for the time that it took Mel to replace the furnace that is old using the new.

This was a Friday and our hot water heater. I talked since it had been a Kenmore hot water heater to a plumber who works for Sears. Everybody was very nice, used humor when appropriate and did a fantastic job keeping me updated on what the problem was. They were able to receive me day service and their hourly rate seemed reasonable even though as my hot water heater was under warranty I did not need to pay. I will use Bowers Plumbing Service for many plumbing needs.

Mel is exceptional. Can't thank him enough for installing a faucet in my kitchen 2 times. The first time that the faucet dripped when it shut off. I advised Mel concerning the trickle when Mel called me to ask how my faucet had been working after install was done although I thought nothing of it. He said he'd take care it and that's exactly what he did. He back installed a faucet that was completely NEW. It just shifted out, although I thought he would resolve the previous one he set up. He said that he does not expect taps when they trickle. That it may be a defective faucet and he wanted to make sure that I would not have an issue later on, which I haven't. Why his slogan is what it is, I see . He does stand for Integrity and Trust Honesty. I know who I am calling if I have any plumbing issues and I will recommend him to anyone I know. Thanks Mel for all of the great Work.

This is the next time (sadly ) that I have had to possess Mel come out from the past 3 years, but I am happy I found him. He is fast very nice, and does quality work. I would recommend him to anybody in the area and will continue to use his services!

We have found our new plumber. Speedy reaction time, clear communication, excellent attention to detail, and quality work (thank you, Dan!) . Best of all, we finished the transaction feeling that honesty and integrity are key to their business practices. We needed a faucet replaced on a pedestal sink. Though removing the base could have made the work easier for Dan, he noticed that it was attached and he didn't want to create a problem where one didn't exist earlier. He worked it around, which is laborious. How frequently do you find a plumber who believes about the client's requirements? Better yet, they didn't solicit a Yelp review. Refreshing.

I had been having trouble with my Rheem water heater and known as Bowers Plumbing have a tech come out and to try. Mel was professional and extremely helpful. He walked me through several steps over the phone that had the water heater back up and running in only a couple of minutes. Will definitely be my go to for any work around the house that comes up! Plumbers always get a bad rap and most of them match the stereotype. They care. Mel Bowers care he goes out of his way to make sure the outcome is just what should occur.

Mel is a stand up guy who loves his profession and also has a fantastic attitude! Had him fix my dishwasher line that has been leaking and the other line that has been overflowing over my sink. He did the work and went above the call of duty and assessed the rest of water lines and the pipes in the kitchen just as a precaution. At the last minute he did not hesitate to fix my toilet that was"ghost flushing" as they call it in his commerce. He did not charge me any extra for the effort and his routine fees are extremely competitive. If you're looking - Mel is the man!

Mel was so terrific! We received excellent service and requested his services for a bathtub. Very kind and educated! Definitely recommend!

On the other hand, when I called to inquire what the issue was that they were polite. So while their work leaves something to be desired, their customer service seems to be in a good purchase.
Did not predict. Showed up in our flat the night called them for some kind or leak. That , they had pictures and needed to take a look. Turns out a neighbor in our complex'd hired them and they had the completely wrong address. They did inform us that our water could be shut off from 10am to 11am which was no big deal. They left our water shut off for over 3 hours passed the scheduled time perform to some type of valve issue. Massively inconvenient and frustrating. If plumbing issues did come up in our home I'd look from this adventure of incompetence even though we didnt hire them.

Both Dan and Mel tag teamed up to knock out these problems in a timely, yet tidy manner.
I'd multiple problems a noisy Takagi thankless water heatercheck valve on my recirculation line, a lousy recirculation pump along with a water shutoff valve.

I phoned in the morning and they were able to come in just two hours Courteous, professional and sensible. Quite fair. There was not any pressure to get more though there was education for me about what I will need later on than I had requested.

I phoned a few plumbers and was fortunate enough to be known to Mel. Luckily Mel is THE go-to man for water heaters. Mel called me back straight away but sadly he was and an hour away booked solid for the next few weeks.
I had been up at our cottage in Forestville and our tankless water heater began leaking (fine, gushing) water. The entire floor has been flooded!
Did that stop him from helping me? No way! He requested me to text him a photo of the issue. I chased him and then he walked me through how to acquire the leak to stop pouring out water. 6 phone calls were created and all in all about a dozen texts were shipped and via the expert guidance of Mel, I managed to acquire the leak down to some super slow drip. He advised me exactly what part I needed and that I managed to go to the hardware store and purchase the part. Our neighbor was able to replace the area for me later on that afternoon.
5 stars simply doesn't do Bowers Plumbing justice. In situations such as this, Yelp needs to own 10 stars!

Mel was kind and patient with my plumbing ignorance. Where I need to send a check when I asked him he advised me to not worry about it. Huh?!?! What?!?! I'd taken up an hour of the time through texts and phone calls! He told me just to do something for someone else. Folks, this occurred! There are still people in this world!

THIS IS YOUR GO-TO PLUMBER!For years I've looked for a good professional plumber. This is that plumber. They called me back the exact same day, came the next day and fixed the bathroom sink that was clogged (past Drano treatments). They provided to checked the drains in the home for me, while they were here. They charged me exactly what they offered me, were both professional, efficient, and quick. They left the place cleaner than when they came, making sure to wash the region down when they were done cleaning out the drain. I have their business card and that I will continue to this! :o)

Mel is nice and the work is completed much beyond my expectation. Our house had a closed valve problem once we tried to devote a dishwasher that was brand new so I decided to give a go to plumbing, they came after on the same evening and wooala! I understand what you think if you hand troubles you shop around and receiving price quotes. I called plumbers with price quote, one thing I could say is the cost is gooooooood of Mel, trust me. You wouldn't regret.

This is a belated review for Mel Bowers plumbing services. We dropped hot water when the pilot didn't stay on despite repeatedly restarting the pilot and went out on our water heater that was relatively new. Located Mel through Home Advisor, and opted to contact him based on rave reviews there and on yelp. What a find! He immediately responded through the Home Advisor website to our query, and not only scheduled a quick service call but researched our water heater and organized to your part replacement himself. Wow! He had been professional and also fixed the issue, explaining what went wrong. Several other concerns we had pipes issues quickly fixing a toilet that was problematic were also answered by mel! We can't recommend him enough; Bowers Plumbing Service will be our go-to plumber in the future.

Mel Bower is a great find! An exterior pipe that collapsed during a freeze and recently replaced our dripping water heater has been fixed by him. Both times his service and workmanship were excellent. We'll be calling him again next time we have a plumbing problem.

I would rate Mel Bowers higher compared to five, if I could. My water heater drain had cracked and was flood my home. He went to work and came almost immediately. It was an WH however he didn't lecture me, rather he explained everything in me and to my daughter, who was interested. It's an old mobile home and he had to take out the floor below the WH before he could install the new WH and build a new one. So as to get the hot water working for me he remained until 11pm! Then another day that he checked of the taps for sediment. His helper, Dan, was fantastic

MEL was at my home a few weeks ago to fix my water heater - that he did. I requested him to provide me a bid to put in a sink from the water heater - . The bid was $900 and materials. I moved out and found contacted MEL and that a sink and told him I was ready to proceed on this - and all a sudden that the bid is MORE THAN DOUBLE what he initially told me! He wants $1800 - $2100. I'm on SS and I really don't have the he wants. I am so disappointed and I'm embarrassed especially since I gave his name and amount about him to friends of mine and raved.
