There are two Chevy Chase MD Locksmiths. But, is a phenomenal locksmith which I used with the same name. Their website is: http://chevychase.mdlocksmith.com/
The guy who came was time, pleasant and professional. He picked the lock on my padlock so that I could open the unit and bring the key (missing the other one) The price was exactly as quoted on the telephone ($95 for its support visit). Quoted me $150 for the service trip.
It was rush hour and I sail for Baltimore into Bethesda so I could not wait for another key to be attracted to me. I was in bind becaused I needed to pick up my daughter from daycare. I called to see how much it would cost to unlock my 2007 Honda Accord's door. I there'll be price for labour and was told there was a service charge. It required the technician of 5 minutes to unlock my door and was billed $228 for the support. I feel totally ripped off.
Scam artists. My spouse and I left on a Sunday night with no home key. I had been having difficulty tracking down our apartment's after-hours service petition person, but I knew the fee charged by our apartment building for after-hours lockouts as $50. I called those men. I asked the"dispatch" guy how much the service generally conducted. I asked him just how much labor usually conducted. He said $19 or so and the total will be approximately $45-$50. I asked for a tech to come, since that was what our flat manager billed. As promised the tech came within 15 minutes. He had his tools and began working the lock. He asked us if we knew the pricing and that I repeated what the guy that was dispatch me what. The service telephone fee that was $29 was confirmed by him and said labor was added. He said this lock wouldn't be easy to open. He had his tools in the lock when he said it would be 215 (or $250) to open the door. I advised him leave and to cease immediately. He began to hem and haw. I called the guy that was dispatch and got the runaround - he advised me to deal with the tech and see what price. The tech was still looking at the door and I told him to leave. He said he tried to help and could see whether he can do it. I told him to leave and that I could go across the street to a hotel and stay the night for less.
