Grant did a fantastic job of recommending the size/ kind of filters to accommodate our requirements. It took a little time to dial in the settings because of iron and hardness levels of water. Nothing but perfect water . Highly recommend this company.
I got bids from water softener companies. What left Grant stand out was that he wasn't pushy, he had been informed, educated us on the process and also his pricing was fair. He had been very accommodating in providing a quote from the evening hours and performing his evaluation because we both operate full-time. We worked to get our system set-up and showed up on time when we scheduled our installment appointment. There was an issue with one after setup, but Grant was quick to send over someone to fix it. I am referring all my friends looking for water that is soft to Grant.
Grant was quite responsive. Water softener and reverse osmosis installed. Willing to estimate the system over the phone with a fair price. Installed on time and on budget.
Grant the owner is wonderful. He's done the water for office and my residence for at least ten decades. He tries to sell me something that I do not need. I constantly refer folks to him and love his honesty.
I've utilized Coast Water for 6 years. Grant has always provided exceptional customer services. My business is dependent on him a lot and we've never been disappointed.
I had a water softening system installed by another water treatment firm that went bad after a few months. The installer was shady and didn't stand behind his job, but for me Grant was recommended by the maker at Coast Water. Grant sent one of his men for a free visit to inspect the machine, coordinated free replacement resin in the producer (which is actually the component that had gone wrong) and had a very fair labor charge to substitute the resin (because the producer would only reimburse for parts, not labor). I just wish I had found Grant and his group before I got involved with another man. If you are reading this review--congratulations--you've found Grant and you are all set!
They said they would compensate but 2 restoration firms was their installment and their insurer denied that it was their responsibility even though a plumber. Never, ever use them. They do not take responsibilty and are inept and reckless. Big mistake on our part for expecting them$3000 of harm. Oh and we'd been customers of theirs for over ten decades. So that tells you how they stand by their work and value their customers.
Grant Boroff and his staff have been servicing my companies water needs for over 15 decades. They are very honest and get the job done. He has told me when he believed it was not needed to satisfy the requirements of my company, not to purchase products. You can expect his staff and Grant to do a top notch job!
The answering service is not able to tell me anything they will let the office know of my message. This is an epic neglect. I have used these guys in the past but it's been awhile and I never had these problems. This is unacceptable.
Update: I did get a callback after submitting the review. Here's what happened: they're out of stock on the filters and they tried calling this a.m. to let me know that they would need to reschedule. However, one of those numbers they used was a very, very old business number (perhaps 8 yrs old) which was disconnected long ago. And even though I gave my cell # when I left the appointment, apparently they did not have that on my record. I remember something similar occurred around year 2000 when we moved from 619 to 858 area codes. They called to confirm however utilized the 619 # and that gave a not. They should've thought to try out the 858 variant, however they didn't. Rather, they cancelled that appointment and that I was, similarly, left awaiting. They will need to upgrade their processes to be sure information is current so these things don't occur. And they persisted to your own database and ought to be sure that number is utilized when a number is given when the appointment is made.
Update 10/22/2015
I still don't have my water system serviced. Here's the latest: he asked that I call the following week to find out if they got the filters back in stock when I spoke with the individual on Oct 9th. I agreed. I phoned on Oct 14 (Wed) and that he barely remembered me, and he was not sure if the filters were in stock, and once more asked me to phone back. It got me thinking, why is the burden on me when I am the customer to phone a business. As soon as they understand they have the filters back in stock the business should telephone me and reschedule an appointment. The more I thought about it, the more I knew I didn't wish to give this company my business. Very disappointed. And a very long time customer but no more.
Additional Update 10/30/2015
Coast Water: if I have any of this wrong and you may explain all of this with whole truth, please do this.
I'm done with these guys. Having discovered a real Culligan trader, I discovered that something bizarre is going on with this company. Several years back (not sure exactly when) someone bought out most of the southern California Culligan traders and merged them into a firm named Halls Water which has one place in San Diego, yet another in Orange County, etc.. Coast Water was not.
I made an appointment for now between 12-2. I predicted early this a.m. to affirm I was still on the books. I was. Here it is 3 p.m. and I'm still waiting. I have called three times simply to achieve their answering service (they don't ever appear to pick up the phone in the office as far as I could tell). I advised them to get them let me know if they're coming when I should be in the office, or not so I'm not held hostage in my own home.
Once the ceremony is complete on a long term appointment I will update this review.
During one of those repairs, my filter housing / filters must have been changed as part of a service call into some kind and that I was not advised about its non-Culligan nature. As to why this was completed, having been told of the, I can only speculate. No matter replacement filters are seemingly inaccessible. They're non-standard. This may explain why they are not interested in having me as a customer because they'd need to explain this all to me and also come up with another solution. I'm not happy to find my RO system out. For what it's worth, nowhere on their site would be mention of Culligan they were the closest Culligan dealer for me when I began having this serviced several ages back.
I'm very impressed with the superb customer support! Grant and his staff do a great job. I had a minor difficulty and contacted Grant late in the day and he had somebody at my house first thing in the morning to repair it. I strongly recommend this firm!!!
Grant and martin are two! They go out of their way to deliver. They're in charge of the water softening system for the house and water filtration system that feeds to the fridge.
Grant and his team at Coast Water are everything. I use them for my own water filtration system and softener. When I remodeled my kitchen my builder had to remove the water filtration system and cut on the line going to the refrigerator; following the remodel I called Grant for assistance putting everything back together and he had his team come straight out and hooked everything up (again). No questions asked. This company is professional and customer focused; there is no need to call anyone else.
Coast are highly suggested and has exceptional customer support. I called Grant at Coast....regarding a broken part for my Culligan water softener. He figured out a less expensive option and hand delivered the product and actually reacted immediately. We finally have soft water. . .yeh. . .my spouse and girls are happy. Thank you Coast.
I've been a client of Coast Water for years and they are excellent in support, efficient and reasonable in pricing in addition to honest. Martin, grant and Valentin are superb and they genuinely care to supply the best customer experience. Anticipate professionalism and timeliness . The water filter system that we purchased functions and is amazing. Really and our household requirements meet. This business provides many options equipment wise and they offer solutions to plumbing requirements and all your water. I recommend them.
We've been utilizing Grant for 22 years. He installed our initial soft water system and reverse osmosis system at our house that was new in 1992. Grant and his staff (Martin and Val) have been fantastic! They are working. They appreciate their clients. And they have been attentive to our needs! I would not use anybody else!
Coast has been servicing my aging water softener system for a few years. It would be simple for them to sell me an expensive replacement unit, but rather they work (and honestly) to fix the unit and keep it functioning as long as possible. It seemed like it would be the conclusion of the life of the unit, but the technician took the unit back to the home office just to be sure. That night when I came home, the unit was back in place and running. Price $20! Wonderful SERVICE. It really does not get any better than that.
