Absolutely incredible outcome and service. Another Cambridge locksmith wanted to charge over $350.00 and maintained quoting and misquoting. Mr. Dabbs was professional, fast and did the work easily and charged a far better price. I could not have been more impressed.

I called 3 times to schedule a easy lock setup requiring a new whole in the doorway. They returned my call so stopped by since I was driving by. I managed to eventually schedule an appointment, they showed and didn't even bother to call. So much for using local companies...

In all my encounters with Dabbs Lock I've discovered D.J. to be somewhat considerate in meetings, enjoyable to use, honest really knowledgeable about everything to do with locks and safety apparatus. Absolutely wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I would, if I could give no stars to DABBS. He left me 6 and I asked him to make me 5 keys and charged me for 3 and I had been all set. How dare he treat his customers like royalty everyday! Is Yelp. Yelp is nothing but elitist Dbags believing they're some famous critic since they have been a elite membe r on Yelp for years and fellate all the other"ELITE" members. Yelp is a joke and should not be taken seriously.

Really like this guy, DJ is your best. Up him and assisted me over the phone. He went above and beyond for me that this guy is fantastic.

This place is on my commute. I have stopped in three occasions. Twice it was not open during their business hours. When the guy took my name and number and said I'd be called by them, they never did. After a guy that was different made only one of these and three keys to me worked. I am all done trying with this place.

Some might say why not just appear in the storefront throughout the business hours posted in the window. When the store is in fact open the business hours don't reflect.
Dropped off a camera lock to have a key. This was a min. Job, I have watched it done before. I had been told I would get a call as to whether the operator can do the job or just order a second lock. After a few days, no telephone. Following 3 months and 6 calls to the answering service I still received no feedback. It was just after I gave up and told the answering service I just needed the lock back I received a call the next day saying a key had been made and it was ready to be picked up.
Thank you Dabbs, I'm not also trying to run a business, so luckily this didn't make me seem like a complete jerk... oh wait, it did!

It is excellent for west Medford sq to have a company such as this. They helped me replace my car keys and create copies quickly.

Got locked out of my apartment and called Dabbs for their 24 hour service that was advertised. The employee that answered the telephone took my information and advised me that they contact me and would contact their on-call. I did not receive a call backagain. A poor customer experience.

After moving into a brand new home we chose to have the locks changed. Following a quick search on Yelp we picked Dabbs because of their proximity. What we saw went on their website and impressed us. On their website they allow you to view their availability and schedule your own service call that matches our busy schedule. We chose 2 hour window that functioned together with our work schedules and a day. On the day of this service we even received email and text alerts letting us know to expect them. In rekeying our four locks After DJ came wasted no time. And to our surprise that it was much less expensive than we had initially thought! Dabbs Lock is glad and amazing we went with them!

I would strongly recommend Dabbs Lock for emergencies such as these!
He was quite pleasant to deal with, and the price was actually quite fair.
DJ was in what seemed like moments, and had my security chest!
My hotel recommended Dabbs Lock, and I don't regret calling them.
I was on business in Woburn, also , me being a klutzI somehow managed to lose the keys to my security torso, which contained some very important files.

I fell some locks off to be rekeyed and was informed that they were busy, the next week, but the job should be accomplished. They were returned to me completed at no cost due to the task, after some difficulty ascertaining the status of my locks. They work great now.

DJ, owner of Dabbs Locks, is fantastic. He is super friendly, fairly priced and helped ensure I had the right types of lock which work but seemed great in my property. I can't recommend him enough. If you are going to support small business, Dabbs Locks ought to be the top of your list. Keep their number handy....you never know when you are going to need a good locksmith!

Our front door has been broken up into, and we had to call a locksmith. My spouse got on google to find someone close by (rather than using yelp, silly boy). He got in touch with someone located in Medford, but who sounded like he was dying (and he basically was - he told my husband as much as he needed the job , he had been stuck in bed all week, sick). The man gave the telephone number of DJ to us. DJ was excellent. He had been working on another job and came right afterwards. $50 charged to come in and then the sum for those parts. Our quotation, from over the phone, was $120ish. When DJ checked it out farther though, he recognized that it was a distinct part charged us for the part rather than the 70 one and only had. He is a fantastic man, working on building his business. My husband and I were impressed with his honesty and his straightforwardness regarding the pricing. And for us to replace the door when the time comes, we'll be calling DJ backagain.
