Hi All! I'm really happy to have discovered a business I can trust. Plus they're local:)
I've had some experiences with pipes companies notably Roto Rooter are late, and where it cost us more money misdiagnosed plumbing problems it ought to have.
He was price aware fixed our bathroom issue quick, and knew exactly what he was doing.
Just thought I'd post since I'm extremely happy with the customer service with Dale's Plumbing - Mark.

Holy Smokes wish we had read these reviews They INSTRUCTED my ELDERLY parents TO order a part AFTER
A friend fixed problem in moments to discover the first part was NOT broken!!!!! Ugh!!! Shame on them! FEEL FREE TOREACH OUT
Charging them 300 bucks to take something that wasn't broken only required rescrewing.
No skill otherwise

Apparently the 5 stars are for the sole guy that is capable on it is entirely New project also the team
Then expected to come back and install an unneeded part

This company is the most powerful for your own plumbing business. The job is not good quality and quite bad. They leave work unfinished and never complete there tasks.

They did not even bother to show up to court to protect their reputation. This company is a joke! Do not make the mistake I made. You have a gas fireplace problem? Call Solutions at South San Francisco. They fixed the problem and came.

Several jobs that were big have been done by them at my home in the last year or so. All of them were done nicely. When I had a small problem with my plumbing at that time they had been doing one project, they came right out, identified the problem, and fixed it immediately. I highly suggest them.

Dale Plumbing sent two technicians to fix my gas fireplace in October 2018, simply to announce that my fireplace recommended me to purchase a brand new one and is not repairable after charging me $558 after doing nothing. Once I post a review , they contacted me stating they'll refund my money if I could get anybody to fix it but they don't think that is possible. Oh I did get it repaired. Since they were backlogged, I had to wait for 2 months to have a repair appointment, and it had been over the Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations. But when FE finally came, the fix took total of 45 mins including post project cleaning. All it needed was a pilot rebuilt and cleaning. As soon as I contacted Dale Plumbing in regards to the fix has been completed, Dale Plumbing found all sorts of excuses not to acknowledge the refund, in the reception I sent them were not legible, to claiming information given to them if their technicians seen were inadequate to diagnose the fix.
Update
There's a reason why there are a lot of 1-star testimonials here on this small business. Dale Plumbing is not merely incompetent, it's also unethical. Save your time, energy and problem by calling someone else if you ever need a fireplace fix. I highly recommend Fireplace Element in Mountain View.

Update: Received a decision back that we were billed plus $90. Dale Plumbing did not even bother to show up.

James from Dale Plumbing was great and showed up! He looked more than two fireplaces (I was concerned about smelling gas). He did a fantastic job explaining how the gar fireplaces worked, and he debunked what I see on the internet that they have to be serviced. He clarified what I need to search for if something were to break. My fireplaces are in good condition. The peace of mind I both had checked was totally worth the $! THanks!

A terrible experience. Charged me 1hour traveling time Redwood City to San Carlos... a 10 min ride! The image of this workmanship should be enough warning to go elsewhere. They broke was my problem, when I complained they said the wall. Stay away you have warned.

This is a 4.5 score piled around a 5. Dale Plumbing was recommended by Nova Fireplaces and ABA to pull a gas line. Beyond these recommendations, we evaluated 3 other technicians, also it was clear that Dale was the winner. Reasons: James, who came out to assess the job, was very knowledgeable, informative, and fair, and warned us that there may be a need for extra work because of the age of our house and the initial gas main installation component of that is inaccessible beneath the concrete floor of the garage. Dale is also the company that automatically included getting the permit for the job to be carried out. Other companies all said they would not do it and suggested we skip that step, as the City can raise different requirements unrelated to the job, e.g., the presence of a carbon monoxide detector. The work took including the work that James warned us about. The group of 3 cleaned up reasonably well after themselves, and was professional and courteous. The reason why I said it is a 4.5-, rather than a full 5-point, rating is because, they left our cooker sticking out 4 inches in the wall and our garage door disconnected from the electric source. When they ended up, so didn't see them depart, I was on a vital work telephone. I had to phone to receive one of the guys to come back out to resolve these issues. We'll be using Dale Plumbing again, and would recommend them.

I was really impressed with the support that they gave to my gramma this month. I was there when the plumber came. And trust... To get a plumber, I was suprised that he was acceptionally really clean. . .wich is essential in the type of home my grand mom has (ocd white glove type of clean) I never knew some one in this type of job was as astute about getting the work done and performed economically and clean!!!! ( lol I cant stress that enough) He was also pretty funny, friendly and quite clear regarding the job (that was like a pilot assembly) he cleaned it and left it lookin better than fresh. The price was fair but I think he went above and beyond what she'd paid... I think he said his name was Juan. What matters most is that my gramma was happy... And trust me is hard to please. But. Possessing this fire location entirely opperational only in time for Christmas is every thing... Thank you Dale plumbing workers like Juan are amazing agents of your company's quality support.

The lineup backed up last year so I called Dale and it was it was still after 7 decades under guarantee. They came (James and his crew), found the difficulty (some junction near the cleanout), and fixed it for free. James was courteous and quite knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. We've had no problems since then and I highly suggest Dale Plumbing.
We had recurring problems with the main sewer line backing up due to tree roots entering the pipe that is . Dale plumbing replaced the main line at a price.

My fireplace insert was installed in 2006 and had never been washed so I called up the company who installed it ABA Hearth & Home, San Carlos. They advocated Dale Plumbing. I called up Dale and obtained an appointment which has been two weeks from the p.m. (they're very busy) . The afternoon of my cleaning I was scheduled to work at the Oval so I needed to cancel - BUT... Dale Plumbing managed to juggle their schedule and obtained the repairman out before noon and cleaned my own add! Yippee! I wish I could show you before and after pictures (because I do have them). Fantastic experience working with Dale Plumbing!

Dale was referred by ABA Hearth & Home for repair to a standard gas log fireplace insert. Three visits out of Dale, doesn't work, and replaced nearly all parts. Dale repair people can't figure out it they say. I invested $500+ I could've replaced the whole unit for that amount. I must also add their office reps are generally disagreeable to speak with when discussing this service issue (prob speak to numerous unhappy clients too frequently ). No one at this firm accepted the tiniest bit of responsibility to not being able to fix this issue (and they refused a partial refund ). You have been warned. Ps.: my rating is really NO stars.

We noticed after that it smelled a bit. We had been exasperated by the ordeal as it wasn't that strong of a fragrance, that we sort of just ignored it. Then, a month later, we moved on holiday and doors and all of the windows were clearly left closed. We came back, entered the home, along with the smell of gas was overwhelming. Clearly there was a real escape. We asked in their guarantee and called Dale -- they said we had been just outside the window for their 30-day guarantee in order that they wouldn't look at it.
At this point, we weren't going to cover Dale an additional $300 to correct something that they did not properly fix the very first time, so we asked our handyman to take a look because he is acquainted with replacements, even though he has never fixed a fireplace. Within about five minutes, he was able to locate the gas leak and discover that two components had been attached by Dale and needed to be replaced. He fixed it from that afternoon for approximately $50 total, purchased the component, and went into Home Depot. He does not even work on fireplaces and he was appalled that Dale left part and a substantial gas leak to us.
Two days later, we hadn't heard from him we called Dale. The woman we spoke to appeared annoyed and inconvenienced since she didn't understand anything about the matter. We didn't listen until the next day. The part came a week so for it to be replaced by him we called to schedule. So much for the"I will come by as soon as I receive the component even if it is a weekend" statement. When they came a couple of weeks later, they remained about 1.5 hours charged us another $300.
We had Heating and Dale Plumping come out to work on our gas fireplace. They were very favorable and appeared to mend it. However, because they left I pointed out that one of the flames was feeble. He agreed that it seemed into it, didn't look normal, then told me that part was likely defective and we needed to replace it. He said he'd call first thing call us right after for an upgrade to have the role, and come by as soon as he obtained the part to correct it even when it was a weekend. They charged us about $260.

I have used Dale Plumbing a few times in the past couple of months. They are fantastic! The staff that answers the phones are useful and professional. They have flexible appointment times and have been for each day on time. I'd Bob to purge a bathroom sink, come outside. . .he was favorable and fixed the issue quickly. I had Mark change a kitchen faucet out and come out. He was nice and the kitchen faucet went in with no problem. Our homeowners association utilizes Dale Plumbing and are satisfied with their work. I would recommend them if you're searching for a plumbing company that is dependable and professional.
Thanks Dale Plumbing!

Faucet, dishwasher airgap and garbage disposal to get a kitchen sink. Installed plumbing to connect to the wall squander line and attached the airgap. The installation of the fixtures were superb. He did a fantastic job in linking the waste drainage piping to the wall squander line using PVC piping substance rather than bend line plumbing connections that are easy & steel.  He was thorough in assuring the plumbing worked with no leaks.
Cut out gas line under the house that's visiting the stove, and run line to the place of the stove up through the floor. Be onsite and perform the gas line inspection for license validation. The work team was punctual and very professional both when there came a service person to demonstrate that the gas line fulfilled the necessary standards.

Live and learn. I look for a plumber I shall ask if they begin billing from the time they depart somewhere to arrive in my residence or from the time.
So while the work on the clogged pipe had been completed in one hour, I paid extra for the time it took them to drive to my house they started! That bumped my invoice up for $186, therefore I paid $40 for their travel time.
The work done to clean a pipe out was nice but I was stunned that the $149/hour charge STARTS from the time they agree to be in your house, not from the time they leave.

And replacing a wall socket. Harry and Henry rock. The heater has been installed but happily, install a shutoff valve and redo the exhaust all in 1 day, and they managed to remove it.
Glad I found you guys.
Installing and fixing a standalone gas fireplace I scored on craigslist Eric!
Dale Plumbing have helped me out on many occasions each time a job.

Lesson learned....contact this company for a quote that charges $149/hour. Be warned about this business that they don't offer free quotes!!
Do not be duped by their site!! Their quotes cost $149, even their site says"contact us for a free estimate." I contacted this business thinking that they would have the ability to assist me. They came and spent ten minutes to tell me exactly what I already knew! Fireplace isn't functioning and they verified that it's a gas valve issue, but recommend replacing the fireplace altogether.
