I lived in a residence that was 109 yrs old. The majority of the pipes continue to be the cast iron pipes.
Mel came a couple of days in the past, for dishwasher drainage difficulties that were minors. He is polite, thorough, always on-time and honest. Before coming to the house he put his sneakers cover. I appreciate that.
Mel and Mario spent a good five hours replacing all pipes underneath my property. All pipes were replaced by them and rerouted the pipes. The new design makes more sense. It makes a big difference compare to the old pipes. The basement looks in and clean order.

They did a good job. When an estimate has a range, I anticipate that that range be admired. Our house is a Eichler, so that I believe it is hard to believe that there was.
We had a in the bath tub. I asked for an estimate, and the quote said $1200-$1500. They explained to me that the scope is until the wall opens, because they can't know for certain.
My takeaway: This firm did a good job, but take their quotes with a grain of salt when you're comparing to others. Even when the estimate states a variety with a maximum price, it doesn't mean much.
A couple of days later, a crew of 4 pipes from EJ plumbing arrived at our property. The moment they started the wall, they stated that it will cost $1700. Given that the wall was open and we'd guests, I stated yes.

As issues were uncovered the project grew progressively bigger. But each issue and treatment was clearly clarified which we really appreciated. In conclusion, the team out of EJ Plumbing, together with Jose Luis since the foreman, did a job that is perfect - we cannot be more pleased.
We started off with a toilet which required replacing cracked piping beneath the home. His team, while working on the fix and jose Luis noticed a problem with drainage - a sewer. This meant replacing the 80 feet main sewer pipe which went beneath the landscaping and driveway, out of the front of the home. It suffered damage, and as it happens, parallel runs to the sewer and had to be substituted. (We noted that the previous pipes they dug up were filled with tree roots and mud.)

Had a water heater replaced by Sam.
He did an superb job. Sam was tidy, thorough in his explanations and professional.
I gave 5 stars we needed to do without warm water immediately and in which the appointment for the previous day wasn't entered. However,"stuff" occurs and the installation more than made up for the annoyance.

We needed our valve changed and Isaac was shown the issue by me. He let me know before he must work just how much everything will cost. Isaac mentioned that one reason the water wasn't flowing very fast was because our pipes are very old and possess a lot of mineral build up.
He was quite nice and fast . Thank you Isaac!

After initial inspection by Louis and itemized quote of $1700 for 50 gallon water heater, I had two telephone calls with Patty to follow up on the quote and (further) schedule installation appointment. Neither Patty nor the estimator has reverted to my question - sounds as though they are not interested in converting a customer to a one. This was that she will follow up.
In following through on quote of work and no interest unprofessional customer support.

Two months ago, our tankless water heater that was old died, and we needed a replacement. We got quotes from many expert technicians, and EJ Plumbing gave us the pride and most reasonable quote. Given the urgency, they came out the very next day to install a top notch Rinnai RUR199EN recirculating tankless plus filter. All for about $500 more than a quote from a different company to get a basic Rinnai. A team of 3 spent most of the afternoon performing the install and arrived the next day -- it entailed wall-mounting in-basement replumbing to adapt to get a recirculating system that was complete and exterior and the device. By the end of the day we had hot water!
This device offers control of recirc and temperature schedule via WiFi and a program, which I hadn't had set up. I finally decided we needed this role and I texted Daniel. Two hours later, he was at the door and we have scheduled or water at each faucet underneath control that is iPhone -- in our home.
Great service!

He discovered my frustration and saw the dishes that had overtaken my kitchen (this was a 6 week saga in all).
For all these reasons, I recommend EJ Plumbing for promptness, their kindness, professionalism and skill. So thankful to have found them!
Entirely at the dishwasher, he looked out of his scope and noticed that a bend in the hose that lets the water . He confirmed the dishwasher was working and corrected the bend although they are not installers.
It's with gratitude that is complete that I write a critique for EJ Plumbing. Initially, a valve was replaced by EJ . They were on time and professional. The Home Depot Tempco installers arrived and installed the dishwasher, said all is functioning but no water was coming .
I rescheduled a return of the two EJ and the builders. The next morning michael of EJ arrived 1st item. He fixed it!! and saw my entrance door knob obtained a tool and was loose Then he confirmed the valve that they set up was functioning properly (His role done!) .

The bathroom ceiling of my property leaked, and scheduling a fix using EJ Plumbing was quick and straightforward at first. Their tech was prompt and clear about the work that would have to get carried out. In person, I never saw the repair in the end but my renter says it appears to have been performed.
However, I'm docking a celebrity because I had any trouble communicating with them and because I was unintentionally CHARGED TWICE for many hundred bucks (I had to pay via phone)-- something I did not catch until I was reviewing my bank statements 2 months later. Perhaps it's because I could not match them in person, but I had a quite difficult time calling both the tech and workplace toward the middle of the project, such as scheduling a second appointment to fix the drywall, having an invoice to detail the work completed, and now working to figure out the extra charge. It needs to be solved and they're communicating a bit more but I would suggest going with EJ Plumbing should you take the initiative to follow up with them and either pay in cash or check your spine bills after.

I talked confirming their appointment to the following day. On the afternoon the estimator was supposed to be there, I got a phone call from the estimator he needed someone to be there. Formerly I had let their customer rep understand my mom would be there. I would chalk this the ball dropped on this one. Thank you for wanting EJ Plumbing.

Have used them several times and am impressed by their personal and expert support. We were fortunate to have Mel come out twice recently and I recommend him and his company.

Second time I've called on EJ Plumbing Services and they didn't disappoint like the very first time. He clarified what he would do, listened to my explanation, and evaluated my tub that was clogged. He'd shoe covers and gloves, laid down a tarp to maintain tub and floor border protected and clean, then set to work. He kept me apprised of what happened, kindly replied my multitude of questions, and if one effort failed to unclog bathtub, tried another way which was effective, to my relief and joy! Pricing was fair and the experience was extremely positive, thanks Sam! Continue the fantastic work!!

Never go with them.
I had 19year old tank water heater. Pressure valve pipe has been leaking water. They arrived on time reported and had to alter pressure valve. Amount was less than 15min. The part costs less than $20. Nevertheless, they charged me $350 which should have been about $150. I was staged by them. They took advantage of situation, Since it had been on weekday.

I had a shower drain that is plugged. The guys showed up on time and addressed the problem. EJ Plumbing is a bit more expensive then a few surgeries but you know that they will get the task done.

I have been a repeat customer of EJ Plumbing. They do quality work, are responsive and honest. My pipes fittings were replaced by them and did it right the first time.
They offer a guarantee on their work, and a reduction for first time customers.

We are extremely satisfied with the job EJ Plumbing did for us. The old cast iron sewer pipes were substituted by them using the PVC pipes. The job has been finished under the oversight of Daniel who is very efficient and knowledgeable to our satisfaction.

Great and honest business! Very efficient in scheduling an onsite diagnose and the technicians identified the problem really quick and used the simplest fix ever possible!

These guys are excellent. I had the water service and all sewer pipes replaced, and aluminum re-piping done at 2 homes, both done. The team that came out was extremely professional and their work revealed their craftsmanship. Was the hardest working team I've ever seen. EJ was used by me once previously for a small project and they were wonderful, and will call them in the future, in addition to urge them to neighbors and friends. Called EJ plumbing to get a sink not draining issue. I have the pipes were leaking and a three story house along with the very best sink wasn't draining. EJ came the very next morning checked and repaired the issue in like about an hour. I didn't have to miss a full day of work or anything. Thanks guys!
