#1. Many do not open until about 10:00 or later and when you need a key or a first thing it's wonderful to understand this location opens at 8am.

How they do it right the first time, and why waste time?
If I need to find a key made and visit Home Depot or a few other folks who don't do lock function I inevitably end up visiting Ernie's.
Used ago and has been content. Called to have all locks changed due to mive out. This time 1 of the keys didn't work but was not an issue. Gave them a call they fixed the issue and came out. No problems. Client again.
Ernie's Lock saved! I had an appointment with the other"so-called" locksmith, who spent nearly two hours on my own lock and was unable to re-key. Ernie's agents came within 30-minutes (I'd no appointment) and took care of this project. Thank you Ernie's!

I had a heavy duty combination lock and has been quoted $50.00 per lock. OUCH!!! I purchased the exact same exact locks on Amazon.com for $21.47 each. This company is way over priced and the counter guy is not pleasant to take care of.
I have a property that is very old. The lockset on front door stuck. I believed I needed to replace it, but Ernie's created a slight fix and had it operating in short order.
I've been here several times in the last year. The two for personal and for my office. SPECIAL KEYS ALWAYS and Frequent keys WORK. That's important. Everyone is extremely helpful.
The keys they made for me worked the first time and each time... as opposed to the keys from the hardware shop which constantly adhere. It's well worth the higher price to get the work done right.
I am surprised to see a negative overview of this enterprise. I have used them both for my business and home needs and they've always been easy and nice to use. I really don't find their prices to be surplus. It always feels great to use a company !
I have been in Ernies Lock Shop at the very least a few times. I have discovered the owner helpful, nice and knowledgeable. This is a store with real stock - difficult these days to obtain.
