Green Locksmith

Total came to $300 much (additional $10 for"labour") and when it came time to cover, we gave him our credit card. Except he explained his credit card system (smartphone) was not functioning, and could only take cash or check. So that among us could have moved to the bank, wish I knew that sooner. We are very cautious about who we give checks to, due to all the business. Fortunately, my mom needed some cash we can borrow so we can cover the guy and be done with it already and was here.
20 minutes after, the"locksmith" (he never gave me his name) called me to confirm the address and said he would be here in about 30 minutes or so. The locksmith had arrived, and within a second hour - all 10 of my locks had been.
Overall, it was alright in contrast to. I once had a man try to estimate me $65 to install a string or security guard on my door. Hello? My husband can do this for $7.

I liked that they did not give me an quotation - like $19 and up per rekey - and try to bill me $60 or $80.
Moved into a new house and wanted all the locks. I called Green Locksmith to a Saturday afternoon and spoke to a secretary who offered me a service charge, and $19-$45 each rekey, based upon the lock. She said that labour would be contained in the cost along with two keys and that she could have a locksmith.
"However, the secretary said the labour would be contained in the fee to re-key each lock."
That is a good deal of locks, particularly with glass windows and dual locks on all sides of the door. He tried to start work right away, without getting an estimate but I never allow anybody begin work. He said it'd be a small fee for the labour and $29 per lock, and also the $29 service charge.

They keep telling me they'd be here in 20 min... each time I call! I've been waiting almost 2 hours! When I call, now can not get ahold of anyone.

Terrible deal - call another Firm,$157.00 for a single lock!!!!

Called the office to find out if there was would help and a supervisor basically explained he'd look into it and call me back and shuffled off the telephone again.

I scheduled a lock and called. The driver could not locate the house and called me and has been. The realtor I work with was in the house waiting for BENNY to arrive. He rekeyed a single lock and showed.

That I was told that there is a 10% commission to pay using a 24, As soon as I tried to pay using a credit card. Lucky I had cash with me or I would have had to pay an additional $15.70 just to use my card.
Told me the fees would be $29 for the support call and around $40 for its rekey. So I am thinking $69 for your call.

Do not even think about using these guys. My story is quite similar to another three reviews I read. I wish I had read the reviews before hiring them. Quoted me $29 $47 and service charge to rekey a lock including two keys. The technician, not from Green locksmith but there was another business sent. The lock was set up in the door. He contained in the fee would be $29 service charge and $69 for its rekey and said there was no extra keys. I called the office and she attempt to explain that $47 was just a beginning point. I asked how it could get more complicated than handing a box is a locked in by the technician. We're referring to a corded. She proceeded to explain the number of pins were used and that it had to do with these pins' total cost. Are you kidding me! Home Depot will do the support. Fraction will be charged by other companies. So as many businesses it might seem that green locksmith is an order taking company that hires out to anyone that might be from the area. Save you time and money and go to a local institution.
