In addition to repairs, we had Ken Mays install a new grey water heater system to replace our pipes once we purchased our property. The lawn areas where they had to eliminate sections of yard to install new pipes were cut, and their price was competitive, they completed the work economically and quickly and put back in position. You would not know they were ever disturbed and , for me personally, was a bonus.
Ihave had nothing but outstanding service with them and've been using Ken Mays for more than seven years. They are professional, responsive, and their work is topnotch. The stand behind their repairs and installations and it shows at the effort they put in the fix the issue every time, the first time.
I highly recommend Ken Mays Plumbing and refer them to everybody I know. Iurge Ken Mays greatest amongst them and've used Napa plumbing companies in the past.

We have utilized Ken Mays times through the years and never been disappointed. They are organized and extremely prompt. Most recently today was fast and excellent and had Alex come by to assist us. Would highly recommend for some problems from the St.Helena/Yountville/Napa area. Not certain what some of the negative reviews are referring to, my spouse and I have not ever had this kind of experience.

Dario was fast, friendly, and did a great job fixing our bathroom that is improperly installed. He gave guidance on the ideal area for a replacement shower manage. Thanks Dario!

Great staff. Very professional and accommodating. Took care of the matter and cleaned everything up. Reasonable prices. Never attempted to"upswell" additional services. This will be the first call once we need plumbing job 17, I make in the future!

I returned from holiday to get the work had not been done and that I called to see if this fix could be accomplished straight away. Nope, we have to wait three times.
So much for great support. Plumbing issues tend to need attention. Cavalier responses like"we can not do it this week" are absurd for a company of the size.
We scheduled these people for an emergency toilet fix. They also made us wait three times and then they didn't turn up. No call, no apology, zip. We also called and they claim that people were"not on the board"

I requested him to depart. Never phoning them.
What's wrong with this firm? Something has changed and they were good, although they were used by me previously. They gave me a quote on the telephone that I gladly accepted. When the plumber got to my house though he found nothing unexpected and he took a look he gave me a quotation way higher than the original one. The reason? None. Nada. Zero reasons.

Dario arrived surveyed our needs, as scheduled and then went to work. It was a joy seeing Dario you can tell he knows his job. Both sinks were functioning time, from scratch, before he left and area washed.
Called Ken May's Plumbing to couple two sinks after squandering a day shopping at HD and OS without all the correct parts and some misinformation.
The invoice for components and time was appropriate.

The second was driving behind a Kevin Mays pickup truck and the guy stopped in the street took a twist. Its raining and I smashed into him.
I have 2 experiences with these guys so far and they have both been in public. The first was 7-11 at sniffling bad and Napa where both technicians seemed out of their minds , even another client said it.
Only from those 2 experiences, I would want to call those guys for service.

I awakened to the toilet paper and poo around the sewer escape, called Ken Mays Plumbing and spoke to the girl who sent Dario out to help. He repaired the problem, explained everything to me, gave me options for keeping the line clear later on, and was generally a super nice man. Thank you!! And on a Saturday!

Once again, they continue to disappoint. As a winery in the valley, you'd think that they would want our business. They do not return phone calls because they are"too busy". The girl dispatcher on the phone is unhelpful and curt. Last time we attempt to use their solutions, or absence thereof. Roto Rooter was far more dependable...

I called another firm who for $130 came out, eliminated the valve around the exterior of the home, and snaked the pipes. KenMays did not even attempt to perform either of the above. Very disappointing. The fantastic news though is I have found a capable and really reliable plumber.
The drain backed up, the following day.
I've utilized Ken Mays Plumbing for many years. My two experiences have been disappointing. The plumber has been a no call, no show. I rescheduled. He arrived 3 days after, billed me $168 to attempt to unclog my kitchen drain (he asked to borrow my plunger) and then stuck some tool down the drain for which he charged me an additional $30. He then told me around $5000 could run and I needed to re-pipe my home to avoid clogs. This, I did not do of course.

I went to run my dishwasher at the night before New Years eve and when I moved to find some water, I noticed that my cupboard under my sink was gushing water also that my kitchen sink carpet was completely soaked...I cleaned out under my sink and cleaned up all the water. It was too late to call for a ceremony, but I called first thing this morning (Sunday, New Years eve!) And that I had Manny out here to correct it. My pipes had years of grease and dirt build up from previous owners (ew!) But he snaked it now it's all working. Thank you Manny for your service and for coming out on a vacation!

In January, our warm water went out. After dealing with plumbers, we ended up using Essential Mays, which had been recommended as the best plumbers in the area for hot water heaters. Following three weeks of showers in the winter while we waited patiently to be transformed in our hot water heater and three visits, it turned out that the problem all along was a valve. For the service of turning a valve , they billed me $1,320. I called and agreed to pay for the heater part -- with no evidence that it had ever been necessary in the first place -- but once I complained that it took these allegedly capable plumbers three visits to figure out that it had been an open valve rather than a broken hot water heater, they threatened me with sets. They did locate the issue in the long run and I realize the entire thing is a story. But really: three months 2 pipes and $1300 to turn a valve? I do think they are fine for repairing water heaters that are hot. . .but they ought to have the good sense to be embarrassed by this story. . .we are! Do not go to these guys to diagnose anything and be prepared to be charged a fortune to scratch on their heads!

We had 5 houseguests over Thanksgiving, and our septic line got trashed up. We called Ken Mays Plumbing, Saturday and Mario came out. He cheerfully and immediately snaked the line, and fixed this problem! We're very happy clients!

The rates are about normal; do not expect a bargain, but you get what you pay for.
We needed a plumber in a hurry at night. They were in the house in 40, called us back in 10 minutes, also had the job.
There is simply no plumber.
The plumber has been friendly, professional, and polite.

Just want to say thanks to Billy Manny and Michelle for giving me and my family such service. Manny is quite educated. Both Manny and Billy were considerate and kind since I had not had time to do much tidying up before they arrived. They helped me feel better about the problem right away since they knew how to diagnose the problem. Manny took care to provide me an estimate before he started the job. A Camelia had to be moved for them to locate the clean-out so it could be transplanted by the landscape crew successfully, and Billy was even very careful about wrap the main ball in moist towels. A plan was till they could locate one there buried under the landscaping to install a clean-out. Saved me a lot of money. A company might have told me a new one was installed by them and I would not have known otherwise. Reasonable rate. Recommend Ken Mays very

Called to program for a water tank replacement. The lady assured me I should do a tank before replacing my 30-year-old hot water heater cleaning. I consented and has been quoted $160 flat rate for the ceremony. Received my bill saying I owe $326. My tank needs replacement since the Flush didn't do anything. Very unsatisfied with this ceremony.

Bought and proceeded into a home that was manufactured. Inspection report revealed lots of"plumbing issues." Had difficulty finding a plumbing service which would/could operate on manufactured homes (!) . They stated they could handle every inspection problem and had NO PROBLEMS with manufactured homes. Give a plan of attack and mario came outside to go over every problem. Everything was submitted by mario . We gave the go ahead. We're very, very lucky to possess Dario (an adult, competent and hard working builder ) show up to replace/repair everything. Dario spent one entire day + a few hours the following day and EVERYTHING had been completed to our satisfaction. Obviously, we will call Ken Mays Plumbing first for all and any of our upcoming plumbing requirements. PS. .
