The polite, friendly and eager-to-help staff at LaBar's (esp Marcia) made my experience a most pleasant one. I knackered the ignition tumbler on my 2005 Jaguar S-Type and thought for certain it would require an entirely new one. The first thing I thought was"Damn, this will cost me a lot of money"
Am not only a very satisfied client will return for all of my needs and duplications to LaBar's.
Thank you, LaBars!
Rather, the lock experts at LaBar's diagnosed and fixed the problem within a matter of hours. They saved me hundreds of $$ by repairing the present tumbler instead of replacing it with a new one. Cost me less than $100.
Labar Locksmith store (BMW) is your absolute best. For many BMW owners you are in for a surprise when your transponder fails. My 2010 528 transpnder case couldn't be opened. The distinctive battery is soldered into the circuitboard. I called Byers locksmith and they stated I must go to bmw that it is not possible to fix. I went to Mount Laurel BMW and has been quoted at $330 for only the transponder, not the key. And there has been a possibility of $145 programming fee. I explained my situation and went to LaBar's. After providing appropriate identification, three days later, they programed. They're honest and fast. They saved me They've a store. Thank you Labar!
These men worked hard to fix an ignition problem.
The office staff were great also, useful and friendly.
I had a tough problem with my own 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee as it refused to start despite a good battery and a jump start. Then it began working again after a tow so I suspected the"smart" ignition keys. I made it and they spent two days trying to make it fail. They finally found and fixed a loose cable close to the starter that preventing and has been shorting the start. They billed me a cost, which was less than half what others could have billed for their time.
Go to a dealer when you can encourage an family business in this way?
This way should work!
Reasonable both in demeanor and cost. Regardless of his heavy workload, he managed to work together with my timing
A spot to get keys made. Everyone who works here is pleasant, and keeps you apprised of their progress. A nice find!
Git 'er Done at LaBar's lock shop.
Friendly, competent, and they $ave YOU money!
Today, Enjoy a wonderful experience at Labars. Our Son's Avalon had a brand new ECM and the trader wanted almost $1500. So I found a used one and chose a visit to Labars today to possess the keys with chips programmed into the brand new ecm. Took them 10 minutes and a reasonable $100. So a working ecm for $140 vs. $1500 for a trader in his own Avalon! Thank you Lebars!
LaBar's helped me out a few years back when I got copies of a crucial that was old. I needed brand new copies for the same lock, and yesterday I stopped at one of the big box home improvement stores (in my boyfriend's proposal ). I needed to track someone down (hello? helloooooooooo?) And, once I got home, the keys did not work. Obviously, I must have gone to LaBar's first. Stopped in now. Great individuals working there. The store has a cleaner-than-you-can-believe waiting area. Oh, and free customer wifi, but you won't be. I know where I will go time.
In and out in 10 mins using a new secret! Friendly service, awesome! I would suggest them for keys to your car!
Excellent service for a great price! My son was asleep in the claims that and the car they showed me demonstrates they are genuinely helpful. The process was easy and fast. Highly recommended.
A story. . .Dec 19, 2013- I had stopped to catch a couple of things. After I got back to my car, I tried to turn on my car and had reached for the keys. After I'd realized that the key would not turn, it was too late. Because of the stress of the day, I liberally used my house key(looks exactly like a car key) to the damn automobile!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
The key wouldn't budge at all. It was hardly an inch in the ignition. I got no result and tried to use some muscle. I'd called the base Security Forces desk to get a locksmith. The gentleman I spoke to (Mike I think ) was an expert as is. He was very helpful and polite. He gave me the number into the tow truck company that ended up picking my car up . Mike told me that he would stay at the store in order to help out me. The next day, I got a telephone in regards to my vehicle. I was advised that the ignition parts did not have to be repaired/replaced. The key that has been lodged in there has been completed, which was the least of my worries. Pick up the vehicle and he said to come by, in addition to talk about the price of the ceremony. I had me drop off and organized inside. The woman at the desk was very polite to me. Needless to say, the cost was well below what I expected to cover. I'd suggest to anyone needing a locksmith, to put this amount in their telephones. From courtesy and the fast repair, I am happy. Thank you guys.
Among the businesses that were best I have ever encountered. Period. I showed up and made an appointment to have a single key programmed for my vehicle. They instantly took down my information and introduced my car and got started. The gentleman helping me offered me key inserts (that were EXTREMELY fair in price) into the newly programmed keys to that I purchased, too. Not only was the service quickly and the people really nice and knowledgeable, but the costs were reasonable. For TWO programmed wth cut inserts less than $150 was paid by me. I can not recommend this locksmith enough. I moved to use their services and am content in doing this.
