I needed a deadbolt rekeyed the key that functioned the doorknob would also work on the deadbolt. I took the lock off of the door and moved to Mac's Lock and Key with it.
The locksmith in Mac's managed to have it completed in a half-hour. Same day support!! Works perfectly. I simply need to carry one key.
I HAVE VIDEO OF THE KID SLAMMING THE TRUCK DOOR SAYING SEE TOLD YOU SO. BEING VERY DISRESPECTFUL.
BUYER BEWARE I'll report this company into the BBB. My family bought 2 keys at once for $243.00. Truck worked fine till they program keys. A few weeks later truck keys wont work. Called keys and Macs Lock that they said tow down it. Said they knew that had without checking it out to be fixed. They quouted $125.00 over the phone. Then when my dad showed up said it would be $400.00. Now truck is towed there. Battery expires. My dad altered. He requested to barrow a tool. My dad affects part himself. I go in and ask why they would not help my dad ONCE AGAIN ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Because NOTHING is their fault they take zero liability for whatever. Qoutes on reviews, even though I see issues with customer service and way off. They say we won't let them look at you wouldnt go look and the truck well yeah my dad was there. Also someone pushed on mirrors . THERE IS SOMETHING VERY OFF ABOUT THE WORK THATS BEING DONE HERE
And there he wasout in the cold December wind in the middle of Station Park's parking lot when he realized his car secret was worn out and would not unlock his 2000 Mustang. Than to call a local locksmith to help him get in Together with the snow rolling and the night coming close he had no other option. ALAS! Ty was his title but it could happen to be St. Nick due to the speed! Ty altered the key fob following testing its capability. Ty had to use out the lock kit on this mobile that was elaborate. With a cost of 45 bucks if he needs to be called we Highly Recommend!
Where do I begin with this crappy location?
I'd bought throughout the street, who called me and explained to mention them for a referral reduction for a backup that was vital. For starters, they gave me absolutely no reduction, making some excuse such as"we don't do this for this type of key." In fact, they ended up charging me DOUBLE of what it would have cost at say Dick's Ace--it cost me $150.00 for a single backup of my car key.
For another thing, they were not professional in any way. When I walked in nobody approached me. They had an entire conversation about getting lunch and such directly before me, hardly acknowledging me, and whined when the vital copy refused to code or something and said to each other they had the guy they sent to get lunch for them to return to help. I was there for AN HOUR.
Save yourself a hassle and avoid this place.
Mac lock and keys will have my business for life in Utah. They are well learned, quick, capable and dependable. Imoved into a new home and'm new to this state. I wanted the most secure system and it was received by me. It is a relief to know you are in great hands and can trust them to take care of you. Allen can assist you in every field of home security.

These guys (and gals?) Are the thing. They're comprehensive and skilled - and duplicates work consistently. Somewhat over-priced, however, imho value it. You ain't gonna find that on amazon.com

I'm not certain because my experience was wonderful, Jon gave a 1 star review. I phoned yesterday at 430pm in regards to a man doorway that could't latch closed, and they quoted me $40 for its service calls (verses $75 by other locksmiths), forced it for my house bright and early the next day and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. The total was only $55 bucks and the doorway is functioning fine.
Stay with companies and protect yourself out there and utilize Mac;s Lock & Key!!!!
Another thing I really loved is when I called it wasn't some call center out of this country which sent me to a guys running around in his van which you don't know if they are fair or not and that they answered the phone.
Absolutely horrible and service. Had them come three different times to fix the handle of our entrance and it is still not functional. Staff is rude and not helpful. Someone else thanks'll try.
Their proposal to their caused harm was wood glue...
We needed to have a new door knob and deadbolt installed. They supply a quote and give arbitrary additions in price after work is complete. They also ruined BOTH brand new doorways during installation.
So much for thinking of this client. Plenty of options out there people. Pick someone else.
Their answer was to hang up the phone, when talking to them.
Had a Terrific experience with Mac's. The night, my key broke off in my door. Called 1st listing had a dreadful experience. Door got ruined. Overcharged by somebody who didn't even try to find out the key , just started drilling. Price was very fair too.
The person who answered the telephone and the locksmith that they and very friendly company Outstanding sent. Very good price also. I asked a great deal of questions about the call and he did not seem annoyed at all, instead he answered politely my concerns all. I will certainly call them again and recommend them also.

Wow. I can not believe what happened when I tried to use macs. I moved in, dropped off an ignition cylinder and they said it would be about 30 mins. I left, ran some errands and came back within an hour after. I didn't even say anything and walked in, sat down and waited to be carried out. Then an employee looked at me and said it is not done yet, then I said ok do you understand how it's coming? And the worker said"I don't even understand guy the guy doing it only went to dinner" and he said it with quite an attitude. I said"well ok but function in your customer service abilities" then another worker advised me to get the hell out of their shop. I had been with my 17 year-old brother in the time and he said"well you don't have to be impolite" then the worker I was initially talking to said"I'll show you impolite" at which point some words had been exchanged between him and I and another worker told us to"get the hell out". So in the event that you would like your own underaged family threatened by violence, then by all means go here. I was appalled.
I truly appreciate a very helpful tip over the telephone that leads to a quick fix rather than an unnecessary service trip. I will be and have been a customer earlier. Thanks Macs!!
Very bad service and expertise. I moved out of the way to write a bad review. Wasn't provided a quotation and was charged for looking at it after I told him I just needed a quote. I was also called a liar.
