One morning, my door closed on me, and I was locked out. I called these guys and was given a cost of $49 out service on the telephone for lock. After an hour someone showed up, now the cost was $219 cash upfront. Together with my wallet wasn't able to pay that, and wished to use a credit card, therefore the cost was raised by this .
Very unprofessional, I was not given the outcome that was possible, and any warning to the method utilized. This was a very simple cylinder lock, not even a deadbolt.
Even the"Locksmith" just took a pry bar into my door, and then hammered a screw driver into the frame until it broke and the door opened. I must buy a new door, frame, and lockets, because they have an incompetent individual working for them. He would have drilled outside the cylinder, could have taken the identical amount of time, also that I would have need to buy piece I'm out $1,300.

Byron is what customer support dreams are made from. He was friendly and individual . He took the opportunity to explain how my key functioned and how it works with the automobiles security system. Finally (after a couple to calls to verify his suspicions), he explained that it actually is not the secret that's causing the problem, but maybe the electrical system of the automobile. He then patiently explained it to my SO (because, frankly, I couldn't grasp it enough to explain to somebody else). Don't waster your money or time. Purchased a new house and had them come and rekey the locks. . Had the tech have a peek at closet door which I wanted a component for. Says he'll purchase it and get back to me when it's in. Never calls back, wait some time. . .eventually call him. When mended says component is in but now car broken and will predict. Doesn't call, wait patiently. . .try to call him, can not get him. Call office to complain. Because I reported him 2 hours after tech calls me back. Then come to find out was the wrong person. I had one of their best customer service experiences I've ever had with any business together. I dropped the key to my own U-Haul truck on a Saturday day before I was to move.I known as MD 24/7 and was immediately put through to Eli who told me I could be in my place in 30 minutes. He suggested so that I'd spend less on his 19, I receive the code. I inquired if I save an appointment time for Sunday if I could not get in contact with and also could put him off for awhile until I got the code. He allowed me to do both. This company was called by us and have been quoted a cost of $29 for the service call and $59 for the true work of transporting a lock at a storage facility. After the locksmith arrives, he also said was a"high security lock" and the drilling fee would be $169 in addition to the $29 for the service call. He"reduced" it's $131 for cash payment. He insisted that the cost quoted on the phone was"the start price." We really feel cheated, although we had to cover it we needed to get moving and was late on a Saturday. THE ACTUAL SERVICE TOOK HIM THREE MINUTES FOR WHICH THE RIDICULOUS $131 FEE CHARGED. There is no address, phone or email on it, although I have the receipt. I do have the contact number of the locksmith. The name on his own card is 24/7 Locksmith Services and additionally covers the Washington DC - Maryland - Virginia region. Fantastic support. Called to alter two front door locks. They had everything, had been at the address within 30 minutes and cleaned in 20 minutes approximately. Prompt, efficient, tidy, and reasonably priced. The technician was professional and very considerate. I would strongly recommend.

Ok, I will start by saying we're stupid! We lost the keys and did a stupid thing. That happens a lot, Today to be honest over as soon as it is quoted by the rental company, but the cost on these car keys can go far. They said it's $750 to get one key made by using their mobile service at the car leasing (fobex or fobix was the type of key they employed ).
My lovely woman called around while we were at our hotel until we got a quote for about $250-$400, this locksmith eli shows up with a mobile locksmith store (full gear, computers and all), 30min after I got new keys and he said that if we leave a good review on yelp or even FB we can find an additional $40 off. We assured we did (this guy lowered the cost to $260 from $300 hoping us on our word, old school to the center!) .
So ELI this is to your amazing work (keys worked and we did not need to pay $750) and to show you hope and good customer service goes a long way!
We are still stupid for losing those keys but maybe not $ 750 to conclude.
We are from Denver originally so that didn't leave us with a memory to 26, and this is our first visit to DC / Baltimore.

24/7 was called by us for a quote. We were told that it was 19 for the service call and then the typical front door unlock was 35. Knowing locksmiths generally charge more than would be the true charge. He told he'd need to bill her an additional $189 and her this wasn't a standard lock when the man came. When asked exactly what there was a standard lock she had been told a bedroom lock. She wasn't locked from her bedroom. Being it was late at night at a new city that she had moved to she felt she had no option. She had been at the house. We called to complain and request a refund and also we were told that they do not do refunds. They were under the impression that her door knob was replaced by the driver but even after explaining it wasn't replaced, they still would do nothing whatsoever. We were subsequently told if she did not desire into her house and believed the fee was to high, she might have paid him the $19 and someone else. I am not certain how she could do that since she is locked out and her purse is at the house. They tell their costs are reasonable to you and lure you in as you're in a position and jack that they arrive. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!
