Price is dependent on what you're getting done ( obviously ). The functions were had by my leather boots and I felt what I paid was reasonable.
I will be patronizing his business.
The owner was warm and very friendly. He made my boots beautiful again and he did not make me feel as though I had been doing HIM a favor, like that shoe repair spot on Street.
Never going back here again.
Boots- 1 pr, was told just one side needed the zipper. $25/boot. Only one week, got them back uncleaned however DIRTIER- and he couldn't buff off. Within 3 days another zipper which"did not need to be replaced" broke. And today the stitching is coming from the replaced zipper! ONE MONTH HIS REPAIRS DO N'T LAST!
Backpack- ordinary books/laptop backpack- replaced one zipper. $35- a backpack, since I asked for a heavy-duty zipper, one week to do its price. Was 2 WEEKS late, never called when he said he would, and was charged $35 for a regular, crappy, easy-to-break zipper. WHAT DID I WAIT THREE WEEKS FOR?
His prices are the best in the city. I've my boots re-heeled about two a year and re-soled about once every 2 decades and I have been in the city to several shops. The standard of work and his prices is by. Often, he's able to have things done within a day or so. They are very nice men and women. I've been carrying my boots for a year or so, and I will be carrying them here for years to come. He returns them on.
I went here because of the prior reviews that were Yelp and since I understood that sneakers I needed to put on to a graduation service a couple of hours away, wanted heels. I called the store and Lucas said while I waited, he could handle the fix. He was completed in 15 minutes, charged $14 and I was in my way. Lucas is very professional and a very nice person. Shoes looked liked fresh. Highly recommended.
I was quite glad to see Mega Deal Shoe Repair open their business on Lancaster Avenue, in West Philadelphia. They provide a professional manner, superb service and reasonable prices. Jantra
