Original Westwood Plumbing

Eli came and took a look ran a line and told me that it is not looking great. But should I pay $95 further, the pipes can be taken by him apart from under the sink which he thought could resolve the issue. I moved I was not about to make another appointment and spending more time. Glad he was persistent, however, and stayed until 6:45pm until he was done putting the pipes back together, ran the line thing and even cleaned under the sink.
He did a thorough job of making my sink drain and I was thankful I didn't need to make another appointment.
My kitchen sink began backing up onto a Sunday night so I called First American Home Warranty Monday. Appointment was for Wednesday 4-6pm. When I finally obtained the text around 5pm for arrival approximately 5:15 29, I was somewhat worried when I didn't get a call or text however relieved.

He got back to me via text later that night to say it was not covered under my warranty plus it would be $2,300. He asked if I wanted to move. I phoned my warranty company and they stated they hadn't been even given the diagnosis yet by Original Westwood. I find that reality quite disturbing.
First Westwood advised my home warranty company I did not have a clean outside so they said they would not pay it. I moved to Thumbtack and obtained. I do actually have a clean outside. Imagine that. I had been charged $250 since it is a Sunday. They charge additional on Sunday that is reasonable. They might not have been nicer and they are a company with ethics.
I hope you will not think about using Original Westwood or getting a coverage with American Home Warranty. You would be better off with Thumbtack. They've qualified, reputable service providers in all areas.
American Home Warranty knows of the reputation of this company nevertheless they still ship them out on jobs. They would not let me receive a second opinion or utilize somebody else. So I will cancel my coverage 14, this firm has gone down exponentially. Perhaps they have some kind of deal with vendors like this to split the money they tear off out of individuals?
If I could provide negative stars I would. I had been given First Westwood through American Home Warranty. They came out and the representative was uncommunicative and actually wouldn't give some information to me. Only kept saying that it was bad and he did not want to provide misinformation to me that I could refer back . Honestly, then why is he even here when he can not give information to me.
They texted me at midnight trying to shame me Once I wrote this review. I have reported it and find this behaviour threatening. He said he expects I am proud. He can not care about those yelp reviews or there wouldn't be many 1 star reviews. I am afraid to have received a text at the middle of the night.
Later First Westwood said they'd do it and texted me. No thank you. Would a trust such a company that whined and tried to tear me off to even touch my home.

Elias was friendly and good . I had any AC plumbing issues but he was able to identify the problem and the time that he arrived and was able to repair the problem. I highly recommend!

That is the email today, my husband delivered. Don't USE this company - they do not understand what they are doing and refuse to fix the problems they produce...
My family is now living that your company installed in a way that wasn't up to code.
I sent you an attachment with a quote of how much it is going to cost us to fix it and how the installation wasn't up to code.

This business should close. Seriously. I was skeptical and had read the reviews. Figuring out the testimonials are accurate. They came in and looked at all the plumbing, told us they'd call First American to get an approval for new plumbing... just for me to confirm the status online and see they told them they finished the service. I informed them they did not do a thing but look at the pipes and phoned First American. The auDACITY of these folks to lie and say they finished the service. First American was phoned by me and told them to switch contractors. I HOPE YOUR BUSINESS GETS SHUT DOWN. Crooks although nothing!

Wow! I was so lucky to get service from them! The owner Eli is communicative, kind, patient, punctual, and beneficial! I urge them to anybody experiencing plumbing issues. Eli mended my kitchen sink well and fast.Hecwas so graceful and wash with his service.Polite as well! Mariam Hermann.

Had Eli over to work out some plumbing problems. He worked out everything in a brief amount of time and was fantastic. Would highly recommend this service.

These men take care of business! Snaked out roots the size of a catfish that was 20lb! Would post a photo if we could. Moved into sewage and a new home main out front. Insurance referred a plumber but luckily we got aligned with the pros for emergency service at Original West Wood Plumbing. 20+ years of expertise.
Very communicative and expert in the get go via text. We could schedule a 3 hour window for appointment. Checked in using text and assured tech advent. Bill arrived went directly to work and snaked the 50 feet and pushed . Provided us with preventative maintenance info and comedy fishing out the swamp thing. For sure follow up with a appointment. They travel around LA from Torrance & DTLA.

Fantastic support! Very flexible with my schedule. Able to diagnose the issue. Courteous and efficient. Will would definitely recommend and use again.

First American, my home warranty company, assigned Original Westwood Plumbing, to fix the garbage disposal. Eli was easy to communicate with, adaptable about the appointment period when I needed to adjust it, and even gave a call with his ETA. He left behind a disposal key, and also took care of the issue immediately was nice the disposal motor locks so we are able to avoid having to call someone time to fix. A plumber who would like to save $! GotId adore that!

The 2nd time that they had been called to my home, they never revealed. I had a water heater that burst and the water damage to my home was considerably more extensive because the following day, I had to wait another day for another firm to come.

Eli has mended our plumbing twice and we've been happy with the results both times. He rearranged his scheduled the same moment accommodate us, when we had an issue.

Now my plumbing company! Eli was fast and responsive when placing the appointment and kept me updated with his ETA. His experience helped me find a fast alternative, although my plumbing issue ended up being more complicated than we believed. He made sure that I knew what my options were in terms of solutions, and exactly what was wrong, what needed to be done and was thorough in explaining the situation. 100% recommend!

Westwood Plumber the tech was expertise, was quite knowledgeable and knows what to do. Really professional. Cleaned up . Will definitely use Westwood Plumber again in the future.

A major shout out and THANK YOU for service that is excellent! Original Westwood Plumbing has been assigned via my home warranty company to my service call. Their serviceman, William, was quite professional, and diagnosed my problem. He was quite knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He instantly repaired my garbage disposal with the skill and efficacy of a seasoned plumber. I can be a skeptic at times, but I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them! If you generally don't care about quality of work and have an abundance of time , then these guys would be the ideal match for you--Worst. Service. EVER!! Initial American (home warranty) assigned them to our property to fix a bathtub stopper which was stuck. Their"fix" was worse than the issue because the stopper is currently broken off. To add insult to injury, others have noted and they refuse to return our calls, that the claim is denied by them via the insurance company.

I had been delegated Original Westwood Plumbing through our Home Warranty and although, I always prefer to use my trusted longtime Plumber and rarely adore the delegated companies, I have to say that they did a great job replacing our water heater and worked hard to get it done as soon as they possibly could. Eli was super nice and down to earth and gave us a discount for using Venmo. The only thing was when we paid the test to cover the house warranty fee, he had us write it , not the company. But perhaps that's how it works together. In any case, we had a terrific experience and valued the quality job. Thank you Eli!

This review is being updated by me because I'm in shock on how unethical this provider is. I phoned to make a formal complaint. Just to find out that my claim was denied. After the technician told me to cancel my claim, it had been denied. Earlier I had spoken to the insurance carrier. She suggested that I make the claim afterward. I did not, thinking they might retaliate when I did. I was wrong.
When they came, they denied my claim ONE WEEK. Not the same day or another. It was denied by them did not appear TWICE.
Should you see that American assigns then to you. Request for a different company. They should not be reliable.

This organization is superb. I had a great experience together. I had been sent to another plumbing firm by First American Homeowners guarantee and they were awful. So I demanded that they send me a company and they shipped me Original Westwood Plumbing.
They could resolve my problems THAT VERY SAME DAY and I have had no problems with any leaks from the attic. I was thankful to have them be the ones to fix my pipes.

Don't waste your time with these men. My home was flooding and that I could not figure out why. First American Home Warranty sent them out - twice. The very first time they showed up (hours ) they left a half-hearted attempt to conduct a snake - but throughout the toilet, not through the cleanout - even though I told the plumber ("Bill") that it wasn't the toilet that had overflowed. The difficulty came back. They were mailed by first American back. The next time didn't believe me when I told him that the problem had occurred again, and told me to take photographs if it occurred. He declined to use his snake do anything else to solve the issue. Taking photographs of water to the bathroom floor wouldn't have conveyed any info I had not already explained to himand I said as much - but that I was afraid to push him too hard on the problem since he was angry and made me quite nervous. After he left, I'd First American fire and send another plumber, who immediately diagnosed and fixed the issue out.
