My shower failed, the cartridge went out during only about the worst day. I needed to go to a doctor for a look at what I thought was a issue with operation and our house had no water. Pipe X came out and fixed the issue for a very reasonable price. I'm happy with the work, the only thing I would ask is for a notification when the crew will be late. Thanks, guys!
A man came and I showed him where the outdoor hose valve was and brought him and showed him where the water shut off was in the bedroom cupboard.
I've made 3 different attempts to contact Chris in Pipe X, by sending detailed emails, and requesting that they pay for the harm of the drywall holes....but he has given me NO response whatsoever.
The identical man came out to basically clean up his mess that is about it and that I had cleaned up.
So then he tells me he's going to wrap up things and said he had to venture out to his truck. I waited and waited looked outside to find that he had already left! I went downstairs and he didn't even clean up the mess that he made. There was wall bits throughout the floor which I cleaned up myself. I then contacted Pipe X and informed them.
He then removed the port to reveal the valve which was the valve for the water hose outside. The valve was right here the entire time"!! He then said"Do not worry! Just call your HOA and they will pay for the drywall repairs"!
Time had passed and he calls me to come downstairs because he wishes to show me something.
Back in the center of June 2019 I contacted my home owners association and requested them to get a referral on who was able to emerge and turn my water spigot (not knowing that was why my outside water was not functioning ). I was called by them to Pipe X.
He then shows me 2 holes that he cut from a port through the wall in the ceiling inches and one up in the closet area away.
So today I guess I have to pay for their mistakes! I'm rather upset.
So now I have 3 distinct holes in cupboard and my ceiling that were unnecessarily cut by Pipe X!!
He was coming and going out of downstairs, doing a great deal of banging and then tells me he wants to cut through the wall that is dry.
I'd contact NOOOO and my HOA the drywall repairs won't be paid for by them.
Wow!
Their customer service was terrible. After I had called repeatedly their dispatch individual was rude when attempting to get a timeframe of service without a followup. After awhile, frankly gave there was, MasterBaster a plumbing company here gave excellent customer service and fixed and solved the problem in a mater of minutes. This was after I wasted missed work for PipeX and 1/2 a day due to their unresponsiveness and lack of concern. Telephone some other plumbing company or MasterBlaster !
So I scheduled another plumber to come out I received no call after 30 minutes. About five minutes later a van pulled up to my house (45 minutes after speaking to PipeX) and it had been PipeX! I was shocked since nobody said they were coming out (and hence 4 stars instead of 5 since, communicating people!) But I'm happy because repairs are underway! Second plumber .
So, PipeX to the rescue again. And, again, they not only were responsive but also, again, sent a nice man to do the job and didn't let me down. Because they totally deserve it, so I hit them with a glowing review.
I phoned PipeX up to determine if I could get someone and had been put on hold for 5 minutes while they tried to figure out it - . The man could call me and explained he only filled in and that the dispatcher was not available.
Frankly after no call back I was really disappointed in PipeX since I made them"my plumber" following the last great appointment and was bummed that they allow me down. I'd say they only forgot to call and did exactly the same work as usual with great people and great service.
P.P.S. - if you know of only plumber that resembles Jennifer Aniston send me her number would ya?
P.S., let a man know when you are on your way, I hate to answer the door in my bathrobe:-RRB-.
The plumber that they sent was just the nicest man. I mean only a down to earth nice frickin man and got my problem fixed very quickly.
I had been quoted a cost of 145.00 to emerge. When the technician got there he needed to extent the line. I wasn't told that this would be 250.00. In speaking with the technician, he said he wasn't licensed and if they did the job naturally this did not instill confidence. They did extent it and their estimate was the cheapest but I decided to go with Priority Drain and Sewer. In my surprise I had been billed 250.00. I contacted PipeX and they stated it had been to get the scan. They stated they aren't often recorded by them, when I requested a copy of the scan. I will gladly pay the support telephone but I have contested the camera fee.
It's already an inconvenience to perform schedules during a block time frame, however I get why it must be done and that's fine, but when they show up 25 minutes after they were presumed to be at my house, I cant help but feel frustrated. If you can not be punctual what's the point of earning an appointment? When I called to learn where the person was that the girl kept insisting that he was there, just at another unit... Well that isn't the same thing like being in my house between 8-10am like what was scheduled, and it was currently 10:20 which is the reason I am calling asking where he is. She was extremely rude and just continued to argue with me about the way he was"there, not on your unit", did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. Quite frankly they were rude and very unprofessional, I would not advise using them if you don't want to sit around your house all day waiting for them to show up when they can, and to have.
I can not comment on the quality of their work because they extent and never showed up because of my scheduled sewer clean out. They gave me a 2 hour window once the technician would arrive. In the end of the window I called to confirm the status of the technician And also the scheduler told me that I was next and she would call me if the technician was on the road. She never called and they never showed up.
We had a flow coming through our apartment's ceiling and PipeX was recommended by our HOA supervisor. So we called and also a plumber came out. He spent about 15 minutes looking at our apartment and the 1 upstairs and said it was a HVAC issue (air conditioner) and left us with a $144 invoice and also a recommendation to phone a HVAC contractor. We did, and we were told by that person it was plumbing - we known as a different plumber and got another invoice from HVAC. That plumber repaired this issue (drain problem with washing machine). I wouldn't use Pipe X because it seems they do not hire qualified plumbers.
Andrew had a tool that he drove an hour and a half to grab it and make it work and did not have. He had the work done in a couple of hours (travel included) and it is up and running same moment. He tolerated my German Shepherd barking that was terrifying at him with kindness. He shoved himself into the smallest under-sink cabinet that IKEA has to offer you. A reasonable speed also charged, too, for that level of heroics. I hope it would have cost the same, even if I'd had that part of pipe working out on an emergency basis instead of as a preventative measure. If I have the opportunity, I will recommend this company to folks on the road.
The threading was rotted out at by an old part of pipe that was galvanized. Water was gushing from under my sink. Galvanized pipe's part was rotted and the entire thing required to be replaced. It was only a couple of feet before it transitioned to copper pipe. Andrew agreed with my assessment and did exactly what I would have done if I'd had the supplies and tools.
And now I don't have a galvanized time bomb underneath my sink. :D
They were possibly the 5th or even 4th people I predicted but the very first to answer on a Sunday, and Andrew was out over 2 hours.
I recommend using Pipe X for you because I shall absolutely call them first should the requirement arise in our other possessions sewer and plumbing needs.
We hired Pipe X when we began having difficulty with the sewer line in our neighborhood home. The issues turned out to be much worse than the usual could mend and Pipe X was a great help. Chandler was courteous, knowledgeable and to the point. We found that the clay pipes had broken or dropped which nothing passed through. We had to replace our entire sewer line and the job was completed fast and well above my expectations.
Cannot recommend them as they postponed my tile job considerably. My Multichoice valve was set up by them backward causing the water to come out the spout and shower head. They came back and fixed the issue however today the pipes don't lineup and it appears unprofessional. Price was adequate although I had been charged for an excess half hour. I clocked them . Can't recommend and will not ever use. If they were more expensive giving two stars due to the price tag, would be one.
Buyer beware! When these guys did prompt and good function, they had been anything but transparent and clear concerning the fees. The proprietor told me my job would be $216 (for a half) and didn't mention the common things that would make it become - he repeated a few times: just $216. He added that they are not like Roto Rooter who estimate a low number and ended up with a four- or five-fold higher price.
We were called three times by the tech Though the work was going on. The very first time he asked permission to go in through the wall - not mentioned any additional fees. The second time he asked if we would like him to do a video of the drain (which we didn't really need given that he discovered a significant problem upstream) and stated"it'll just be 10 minutes", which to me meant we would be billed for an additional 10 minutes (how much could that be? $30?) . The third time he needed to collect his commission and asked for $789!! No explanation was offered by him. I contacted the owner who'd provide an itemized bill and did provide to eat some of the fees (which I love ), but I say"buyer beware," because unless you're really on your toes and ask all the right questions you might end up with a much bigger bill than you expected.
SHOUT OUT TO PERRY who replied my helped me get a hold of this man who had been on call and call while he wasn't even on telephone! Perry, thank you SO MUCH for helping me. About that tomorrow, I'll be calling.
Don't recommend. Gave us a 2 hour and they were an hour and a half ago that moment, causing me to be late for my work assignments. When I emailed management about them being late, they responded"that happens sometimes". Fantastic customer services. Also did exactly what he had to do - but attracted the smell of dirt and cigarettes into my home from his shoes. Would certainly not call them again. Look elsewhere.
Pipe X did a water main repair for my residence. A year after, the fix place began to sink and it was following a phone call. Thanks for the excellent support and warrantying the work that is first! Pipe X is highly suggested by a satisfied customer.
To me they could not get on a Friday that is busy immediately, so that they referred me that they work with carefully. The customer service is exceptional, what customer service should be. This is a great company with good people.
I'm a salon Owner. I NEED a plumber, While I need a plumber. I've known as Pipe X 3 times. They are fast to respond, quick to appear and they are professional, courteous and helpful! Not only that, they are affordable. A Sunday visit I needed and they simply charge a tiny additional fee to come on Sunday.
Pipe X came in an hour of my phone after my scheduled plumber was a no show! I was in the panic that I'd have to take an additional day off work to seek the services of another plumber on various day. Minus 1 star for spraying down my kitchen in the procedure. However, as they had been the only plumber I called I'll take what I could get.
What I could say is they were responsive, rather fast and easy to schedule.
I was sure was too small, so they spent a time or little quantifying and called to let me know it would not work out. After discovering it had been leaking he called to ask if I wanted to replace the gasket although he knew I wanted to replace the sink. I assumed this was a fast and effortless job- rather it included another hour of labour ($144 and $40 in stuff ) for a sink I intend on replacing. I was prepared to get beyond this, but I came home to see they set up the faucet handle on the front rather than on the side. This makes me question if the most basic install could not be accomplished correctly the work that has been done. I called Pipe X right away, and he joined with the man that did the task. The man called me behaving like I told . He had been disrespectful, rude, and snarky and stated"I didn't have a picture of what you wanted, so I only figured". This was a brand-new faucet with two instructions with clear pictures. I was really uncomfortable after the call, and didn't want him to be the one to come back to my home after the way he spoke to me. The boss did nothing aside from hear me out and say he would speak with the guy. A discount was not on disrespect or the work by an employee. It disturbs me that the worker took no accountability and the owner would not make an effort to make things right.
They were quite receptive. The plumber came and fixed the issue. Very happy with their service.
We had a great encounter with Bradly and Andrew during a trip to substitute a laundry area hot/cold box. We appreciated how Pipe X managed to send someone out very quickly (next day) and the communication was very professional. Thank you!
