Plotke only responded in less than an hour about our hot water heater, which only needed a reset to my phone. The plumber they sent out, jose, was professional and very kind and definitely understood what to do to restore service. Dispatcher Javier is a joy to use, getting his men for you asap. I really thought I had written a review of Plotke Plumbing after they replaced our size water heater that services 5 units in our building in Larchmont Village but I find that I did not follow through for them. Plotke has done a lot of jobs for us. 20 decades, the water heater they installed lasted! Per our by-laws we must get bids for a purchase and Plotke--without visiting comparisons--was the most economical. Mario, who was manager there worked together with us. He got an excellent unit and cost, also came back to oversee the town review, also did the little work that had to be done to deliver the job up to code, not only in our garage but also up on our roof (we're a 2.5 story construction ). Always pleasant, always fast, always directs a team of men to fix or set up ASAP, we fully endorse this company. Glad we could grow old!

Incredibly pleasant, knowledgeable, and EFFECTIVE. Diagnosed and fixed the three issues we'd without price. So incredibly beneficial. JOSE is the BEST!!!

Jose from Plotke did a job installing my faucet, he had been professional and very punctual. He had been very accommodating with all my requests. He had been fantastic and I would highly recommend Plotke Plumbing to anyone.

Beware of the organization. I received 4 bids on their bid and a project was than the bidding. I would advise prior to hiring them getting bids.

This location made $700 worth of fixes but I had a escape after their repairs. They also has a great deal of additional components and cost a LOT for them. They didn't respond to repeated requests for debate on the topic. I guess that is all they care 12, they were paid by me. But I'm not certain they added my circumstance and any value. I believe it's only fair that I post about this circumstance. The just 1 star I've ever posted. It'd be fine if people earned their cover.

Mr Plotke is currently rolling in his tomb. Mario has sold out and the provider is about the customer. Do yourself a favor and find a business that cares about the job they and does not nickel and dime you with fees. Most of all, do your research and find a plumber who actually fixes the problem and stands by their own job.
They've lost a customer and I hope you rescue yourself from a headache.

OMG.. .this is the plumbing firm ever. Find another company. Apprentices that don't understand what they are currently doing are sent out by them. They waste hours to run the bill up. They do not fix the issue. . .find a plumber who can actually fix the issue instead of charging you. Locate a REAL PROFESSIONAL plumbing firm. What kind of Bozos, tear off artist would be these. I talked to owner, Len, that was of no help. Bill was finally e-mailed to me. They wanted $420 plus $42.30 for the cartridge they exchanged and told me they'd put in a new valve. Then they couldn't screw two screws . Took over an hour just for the screws. .

16 decades ago when I moved to The Chicken Coop my water pressure was amazing; you run the dish washer at the same time, do laundry and can shower and it would faze. During the years, the strain has slowly decreased and has gotten to the stage where"you can hardly clean your hair" I have had various handymen and a technicians try to operate on it with no success. So this week I called in a real plumber and crossed my fingers... Guess what? My water pressure is screaming ! Yes, I showered while laundry and the dishwasher were being done to test it! YeeHaw! I spent more than that although it cost me a grand. Thank you Ed out of Plotke Plumbing!

Plotke has been out to handle all from fundamental tenant hair clogs and a spigot to a disastrous failed bathroom seal on the 3rd floor. Detail oriented and clear explanations, quick fixes managing of tidy up - could not ask for anything more. Highly recommend!
Plotke has become my go-to plumber. Ilike to understand what's happening with my house and the repair required and'm a landlord. Plotke is collaborative on the job they do and doesn't provide me the treatment, which happens a lot when interacting with all specialist trades. The office staff is fantastic and has extended time and space to help me out.

The problem did not really look that severe though.It was just a simple crack in a copper pipe that had to be sealed.
Even though I did not get to meet Mario face-to-face, I can tell this is a good, honest company... a company I will definitely do business with the following time I'm hit by another plumbing fiasco.
A knock on the door awakened Monday morning me from the DWP who said the pipe connected to the water meter was leaking into the street and it was my responsibility. I couldn't think of a better way to start.
Mario made a promise to me over the telephone that the cost would not exceed $200. I agreed. He also called me on Tuesday to inform me the cost will return to $125 and also that it took him an hour to seal the pipe. He could have charged me $200, however, cut me a break and he decided to become a mensch. And no, I did not inform him that it was my birthday. Again, Nautilus was going to charge me $325 more!
And here's the Reason Behind this inspection:

There was one company insisted on coming to have a look and give a free quote to me and called Nautilus who denied to quote . Well, they had great reviews on Yelp, so I let them. They quoted me $450 and claimed that to would wind up charging me the exact same amount once they actually saw the problem. I asked the guy said"Well... they'll have to shut off the water and then drain out all the water out of the hole (that was a whole foot deep. LOL.) , then dry the pipe off and then there is the charge for substances..." Pfff. Get genuine, pal. Continue reading.
Despite a few less than stellar reviews on here, I decided to call Plotke since they were two blocks away from my house. Did Mario promise to repair the problem daily, but I was told by him since the problem was curbside, as I was supposed to I could visit the office and he'd just send a bill in the mail to me.

What an Wonderful EXPERIENCE! I work for a youth refuge for inner city children in MacArthur Park, known as Casa Libre. Before this morning the bathrooms in all 3 of their first floor bathrooms began overflowing and"blackwater" started trickling back up through all of the sink and shower drains; Essentially, a worst case scenario.
I can not stress enough how much this type of solidarity from neighborhood businesses means to associations such as ours. Thanks again Plotke Plumbing! You guys rock!
Unfortunately, as with, our funding is generally restricted and we were caught by a crisis of this size completely off guard. Guardian angels continue to be around and Plotke Plumpbing sent two of these. They had our plumbing draining in no time and saved hundred of dollars in possible water damage (not to mention the cleanup).

Great experience for this company. I have not written a review years therefore it was memorable. Tankless water heater has been acting up and since I am paying American Home Shield (AHS) Warranty, I phoned them first. Accent Plumbing, the first plumber, delivered. He gasped to get a few minutes but couldn't figure anything out. Their plumber said he was quite experienced with this brand and after checking it was quite sure about the diagnosis. (1) there was a lost display which supposed deposits were becoming through (2) the residue had caused so much harm the water heater required to be substituted. Due to his announcement that a display was, AHS denied the promise.
That is an honest, knowledgeable group so give them your business. I nearly got taken for $3,000 but was rescued at the last moment. Thanks Plotke!
I decided to make my plumber this afternoon, and Plotke arrived. Within a couple of minutes, the plumber has been sure he had it solved. It wasn't true of a lost display - in fact he showed me that the display was really still where it had been assumed to be (several inches inside the pipe not that observable to ordinary individual ) and there was no harm to the water heater. It was a water leak issue that caused the water heater to stop running. He tested it out and made some alterations. Price - $99.

Very careful caring careful technicians ( Mario and Lynn). Years of support and actually got to know our 60 unit complex with all its peculiarities! Sunday call outs. Never grumpy and always fair.

This business was servicing my residence I have always been impressed with the people on the phone and the technicians that have completed the repairs and setups. I had a water heater installed a couple of decades before, very well done and no problems since. Also they repaired a gas leak that the Gas Company said was not their issue but a plumbing issue. Done! Just lately (now and two weeks back ) I needed them to fix a leak and then a stoppage issue. Xavier is good to manage but anyone you'get' to coordinate is superb.

Plotke plumbing has been my go to and trusted plumbers! They are communicative and prompt. Also when I had an issue after a fix was completed they came out and pinpointed the fix. Mario, Caesar, Lynn and staff would be the best!

Update. My problem was two parts. Plotke plumbing kept working to locate my problem and now we are fixed. Besides being professional and plumbers I wish to say that every crew I worked together was really nice and caring. That is a major thing to me

I've used Plotke for years in my L.A. Hancock Park home. Everything out of a faucet, bathroom repair to entire home aluminum re-pipe. They did the exterior sewer re-pipe. They're They are used by lots of homeowners in my neighborhood and honest.

Professional plumber, Straightforward scheduling, fixed my problem with no fuss and at the agreed upon price. Fantastic job.

The work was actually good because the problem was solved by them. So, joyful there. However, the price leaves something to be wanted. I was charged EXTRA for the use of the snake. Uhm, did the items they DIDN'T need to use a snake? ...
I have no issues with the job done. However, the price was VERY high. I would have definitely looked elsewhere , if it was clear from the beginning to me it was $170 an hour. I would use them again but only when pricing was clear and reasonable up front.
Though some of this is luck without scoping ie, as you can't tell, just how far down the dilemma is, I guess they did manage to solve the problem. They whipped that 100' snake let it bore off and shoved it down the drain, turned it on.
But VERY expensive. Two guys show up. I wrote up a bill and didn't understand until after they had done the job, it was 85 / hour PER PERSON.
Actual service in the feeling that they fixed the problem I had -- origins in the drain.
Excuse me while I have a heart attack.

Plotke is the plumber when things fail I call. They are reliable and their prices are competitive. Have worked with Cesar Lynn and Eddie on various plumbing issues and enjoy all of them. This firm is highly recommended by me.
