Prestige Locksmith is great!! I went into the shop having a lock that was brand new and Vin was able to come the next morning at 9am to install for me! Really friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!!! The lock was contributed by them at Waldwick a park, to HCA Park! Appreciate They're helping out the community

Prestige provides. Sure -- I'll continue to shop in Bezoland as it is logical. Nevertheless, when it comes to locks and the safety of my house, Prestige is the way to go.
Mistake.
Doug offered me a new Schlage handset and hauled in the rekey (normally $20) making the internet lock price less compared to the online buy. And all done in an hour, such as cutting 5 keys.
Not so Prestige.
I replaced a few keyed and deadbolts handsets at the house recently and, silly me, believed I could rekey the locks myself.
Bring your locksmithing problem. Park your car in front of the store. Peruse their wares and ask all of your questions. They will be answered professionally and courteously. Whatever you buy will be priced fairly, and they will source everything you need or even a stock item.
The deal I thought I got online for the locks suddenly was not such a deal when you put in rekeying kits and time to the equation.
The name says everything. Nuff said.
Brick and mortar locksmiths are under attack by price internet retailers and roving 24/7 vans which promise to be local to your house, but that are really -- often with credentials that are questionable.

Our experience was nothing but positive. Their prices are reasonable. They have been fair and have experienced great customer support.

If your home is near Waldwick (that I reside in Saddle River) the ONLY locksmith to utilize is Vinnie at PRESTIGE LOCK & HOME. Another online listings are only a"message centers" for unknown men and women.
BE CAREFUL. Don't get tricked by accidentally calling one of those unknown men and women. Call Vincent at Prestige.
Vinnie is an honest, dependable, skilled locksmith. He fitted it into our 60 year-old maple front door and installed a door lock. He knows his stuff and is a craftsman.

What an experience. We needed to swap out some door handles and bought our home. I said that I wasnt. He brought the choices so that she could pick out exactly what she desired.

Be careful when choosing a locksmith. Many of those who pop up in a hunt are just fronts using fake addresses (prohibited ). It is rather tough to discover a locksmith and who is licensed and insured. Prestige is a real company at a real location you can trust! Vinnie arrived and changed out some locks for us (Ridgewood). Highly recommend!

It is nice finding companies that actually care about their customers and have an wonderful quantity of pride in their work and products and people.
These guys are wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again. Customer service - Vince came out to have a look at a door lock. The lock wasn't working so he opened it up and fixed the matter. He then noticed since the timber in the door hadn't been cut deep , that the dead bolt wouldn't be able to extend fully into the door. He drilled the lifeless bold works correctly and out that. I am very appreciative here and never would have discovered this.

This locksmith is a TOTAL SCAM!!!!! Worst customer service The proprietor, vinnie, is belligerent, dreadful and completely unreasonable!!!!! My locks shifted gave me exactly the keys that were incorrect. I phoned back As soon as I understood there was a problem with the keys, and another nasty guy at work told me was impossible. Then Vinnie phoned me telling me somebody has to have changed my locks once he shifted thembecause the keys worked before he left my own home. He billed me a second time!!!!!! and arrived back into re-key the locks TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!

I walked at 4:30 PM to buy a safe and it was delivered and installed by 10:30 AM the following day by the very fine Vincent. Fantastic service!

Same-day support for a job that is non-emergency. Small locally owned. It's not often that you require a locksmith, but use stature.
