I bought a Clinton Electronics surveillance dvr from the Security Base website after discussing the product by phone using a rep. The dvr was not in stock but was sent quickly directly from Clinton Electronics. I was very disappointed so I checked out Security Base's return policy. Wow permitted within a 10 day period and a 20% restocking charge! So, I thought I should submit an overview of this dvr about the Security Base web site. The website wouldn't take the inspection, returning a"recaptcha code error". So, I emailed the sales rep I'd talked to before asking him to advise me that he post my critique or to submit via the internet site. No response. I filled out the on-line"contact us" form (that Security Base acknowledged receiving) asking why I am receiving the"recaptcha code error". No response. I would add once I started pointing out issues with their merchandise that Clinton Electronics supplied excellent customer support helping me put up their dvr but went into complete non-response mode.
Thanks,
I called the locksmith once or twice a week to no avail, until may 17th when I phoned up'R' in Security Base and asked him what was going on. By this stage I was pretty peeved, and had started taking notes. 'R' recalled me, and was considerate. We checked to ensure I had the correct phone number for the locksmith, and I called the locksmith time. No response, so I phoned'R' back and he gave me his address. I sent this email to him:
Please email back the original. Please write down my address"
"Let me put you on hold and call the locksmith"
...a few minutes after...
I phoned Security Base to observe where the locks were, along with a gentleman who I will refer to as'R' gave me the cell phone number of the locksmith who had been doing the labour (the same locksmith that I had originally spoken with).
We talked on the phone earlier today about a few locks (the locksmith) was re-keying for me personally. As Soon as You Can track the locks down (there should be 3 of them, including the sample I mailed to'yall), please email them to:
Me infuriated. It had taken more than four MONTHS for them to tell me they could not perform the labor. I'd been told in the very beginning it would be an easy procedure. I'd been given a quote. He had told me that the locks were prepared to mail when I spoke with all the locksmith in April.
'R',
"My 'lock'? There should be three locks; the one I mailed, along with the two which were keyed. I had been told they were prepared to mail out" I answered.
I got no reply and no locks showed up from the email. On the 3rd of June I called'R' again. While I stayed on the line, the locksmith was also called by him. The locksmith told him to look on his desk. So'R' went into the desk that was locksmiths.

The service which I received from Security Base was quite unsatisfactory. I expect my adverse experience was an exception, but am inclined to share it.
I work as a tech in a art college studio. This winter (2013) I need to purchase some drawer locks that were keyed to match various additional locks at the studio. I found what appeared to be a lock on the Security Base Website, called their locksmith department up, and ordered to email them a drawer lock which had the keying I needed. I ordered two locks to be made with the keying as the one that I mailed. I had been told it had been a simple project, and was given a quotation. The lock was mailed by me , and didn't think about it. After a few weeks I forgot all about it, until sometime in April.
I called the locksmith and he explained that the locks were ready to email, but that I had neglected to include contact info in the bundle, so he had no way to contact mepersonally. So no big deal as my speech was on the bundle, but my error this was kind-of bothersome. He gave me his address, and I emailed him my mailing address once I got off the phone. I got no reply, and nothing came in the email.

"Ok I found your lock" he explained
I take no pleasure in writing this review, but my time was wasted to a level that is disgusting.
"So I spoke with the locksmith, and he says that we don't have that Sort of lock"
As a client I fell was extremely poor. There was a massive lack of communicating, and I feel like I had been lied.
And I proceeded to give him my speech. The lock (the first I'd sent them) came a week at a cardboard box with a few bubble wrap. No more"sorry for the inconvenience", nothing.
