I've had a great experience with Swan and especially Jeison--our setup technician. We got a new system and water heater and it was a struggle to certain to fix a few of the issues left over from our furnace. Jeison was pleasure and a remarkably hard worker. He did a wonderful job--I would strongly recommend him, Swan and Melissa coordinating in the workplace.
I'm delighted to report that all my systems still work great and there are superior companies in Denver that don't practice this way.
I waited to write this review simply to ensure that my Swan representative was dishonest as he presented himself.
I hired Swan support my AC unit to this season and to come out. He turned his attention to looking at my furnace which he wasn't hired to do and then spent 5 minutes looking at it. The service telephone turned into a pressure sales attempt of trying to get me to spend $16K+ to instantly replace my AC and furnace. It had been very high pressure and that I can see how this strategy might work on someone who understands nothing of mechanicals. Note that he never really did support my unit.
Found a plumbing and heating company with superior customer service and fantastic morals! Moe was personable and a subject matter expert in his trade! He was really easy to speak to and makes sure you understand the process of repairs and solutions. I truly appreciated this communication and because of it felt confident in the procedure. Thanks Moe!
I'm really disappointment in them. We scheduled an appointment last week using a window of 1-3 pm for Wednesday. I get numerous confirmations texts and emails confirming this moment. Then I get a phone call telling me I want to reschedule my appointment which I made. No thank you. Perhaps for some companies keeping an appointment is not significant, but it is pretty critical for a customer if a business is trying to get customers. Although this was just my experience, however, difficult pass. If you can not keep a scheduled appointment and my business isn't significant enough for you then I will go spend my money any where else.
The people in the office certainly have better customer support. There was where the air conditioning unit was little introduction and asked, when Mo got to the house. We took him out and after much confusion began the unit so he could see it working. He really just felt like that he had been too good to talk to us let alone make eye contact or clarify anything. The capacitor has to be repaired so that he looked at ustold it be $300. My spouse said"come on today I'm sure we could work out something." He explained that's exactly what it is. He knew we weren't going to just pay that about how we could avoid it and what is wrong, how it happened. He just grabbed his gear and walked out the front door. He then came back to find a $22 test from us. Should have given a test for waste of my time to me. The 4/5 celebrities isn't a representation of what support you may actually get.
Appointment was scheduled right away. The receptionist wouldn't tell me how much would cost to set up a new faucet. The faucet was set up in the bathroom, and I provided/bought the faucet at home depot. Swan Plumbing charged me $308 for 10min job. Replacing the faucet contained inside. Unethical and tear off company!!!
I am leaving because of $22 for an estimate charging, a inspection. There's no place to bill a person to listen to your sales pitch - . I am shopping to make a $15,000+ purchase, how dare they nickle and dime me for giving them the opportunity.
I write this because a purchaser beware review. I have had Swan perform a drain cleaning in my home a few times. The service men have been professional and nice and very knowledgeable. They are on time and do the work right.
The purchaser expires part comes with the fact that they are quick to come across things that need to be replaced. The first time they glanced in my water heater and determined it should be replaced and said clay pipes only have a life expectancy of 30 decades and I need to replace my primary line. I hate to break it to you but clay pipes are known to last and thus don't tell me that I need to just replace my primary line without having rationale that is video showing a collapse that is simply poor practice.
Price on drain cleaning however it is made up for by them when they attempt to sell you other things so get a second opinion before agreeing to services.
Moe and Detlef went over and beyond with A/C, my recent furnace and water heater installation. Moe was professional when he visited my house to discuss my options. He was very knowledgeable about all of SWAN's products and services, and he was able to answer all of my questions with confidence. When Detlef and Moe worked on my setup, I was amazed by how focused they were on their work and doing everything. They worked long hours to ensure everything was finished in a timely manner on with respect to my scheduling limits. My house was handled by them with respect that was much valued. I am happy with what Detlef and Moe did for me, and I recommend them.
Jeremy was the support technician that has been friendly and did the maintenance on our A/C device, professional and helpful. I would recommend Jeremy and Swan .
They could send someone the service -- and the day I called -- on a Saturday was EXCELLENT. Spencer came and not only fixed the issue, but assisted me with another dilemma I was getting and. The pricing was very fair. Spencer was respectful and very considerate and Swan is highly recommended by me.
After we moved into our new house, we had some pipes assistance, last year. We called SWAN bc I have seen their ads everywhere. Was pleasant, but the one I talked to over the phone was really rude, interrupted me, and was glib. Then a plumber arrived at the house and he was even more rude. He attempted to scare my wife into having some work done which we didn't actually want, and the price would have been in the thousands. She got him out of the house and we will never return. It seems like the sexism is rampant.
Called and they said a technician would be in an hour. 30 minutes and Master Tech John Waters showed up. Found the issue immediately and got our heater working. It was 50 degrees so we were thrilled to get heat and falling. I strongly recommend Swan. We have properties and will be utilizing them for maintenance and repairs.
Mo went to work and showed up on time. He answered all of my questions and was very thorough. Unfortunately the final diagnosis was that the ac was not reasonable to repair. He supplied a quote to support my look for a new one.
For estimates, which were almost laughable. The least expensive quote I had been given was to get a little over $7,000, which was include two new electric panels in my house and to repair the furnace. The maximum estimate I had been given was adding central air conditioning to my house, and to get $23,000, which included an all new furnace, new electric panels . After I had told him that I planned on living there 4-5 more years tyler tried talking me to funding this job for 7 decades. Seriously dude? With showing you exactly what your payment would be, and that's it it was the pitch. I had to ask not just for the speed (5%-9%), but also the term. He was told I just stayed there a few years, so he purposely withheld the funding details until I asked. If you ask me, car salesman-like. My spouse and I are living in our first house, and I discovered it almost insulting how Tyler acted like it would be nothing to include what numbers to be an car loan into our scenario because the house is chilly. He even told me to" take your tax returns and place it towards the principal." Why am I being told by an HVAC technician on how to take care of my personal financing? I about told him to leave there and right then.
Everything was easy and timely to establish, but I would like to clarify several things that really bothered me. Than diagnosing my furnace, tyler, the technician, seemed to care more. I've worked for these types of companies in the past, so I am not blaming him because he might be following policy. I had been told my furnace gets to a certain point, and goes haywire. It might be the controller board or the gas valve, however both should be replaced by me. Tyler never even came to a real conclusion as to which one it was, but after describing the aged electric in my house, Tyler said my home's electric situation was probably the reason both of these parts (board and gas valve) needed to be replaced.
So I chose to wait on the electric for a few months and just repair the furnace due to not having an urge or the money to go to debt within this, therefore called them to let them know. Tyler called me and argued with me about not performing the right. Since he did not know for sure what caused them to neglect, he began acting like he was quite uncertain that his repair would last with my electrical situation. At the day's end, I found the gas valve needed to be replaced out, and predicted Rock Heating & Air Conditioning, and the controller board was fine. It costed me an excess day but I could not be more happy that I adhered to my stomach and went with someone else.
I want to edit that and preface my review with the FYI. This company utilizes a inspection filtering service named ReviewBuzz in order to people leaving reviews, but allows ratings to be posted to boost their stars. Sounds somewhat unethical to me.
Gave them a call again for an A/C cleanup / tune-up. Tyler, who'd supplied service earlier, came back out and took care of everything again (Thanks Tyler!) . The technicians are experts, the support is cheap, and the quality is fantastic. I'd highly recommend taking a look at SWAN for all you plumbing, heatingsystem, and A/C wants!
I had my very first issue with the system once I noticed that the AC struggled to maintain on the times that are hot. They sent a tech out straight out who cleaned up the machine and got it running like a top - no charge as a thank you. At the time, they cautioned me that my water heater looked somewhat rugged.
It all started back in 2009 when I bought an old 1931 house with no A/C and a gas boiler. I called a number of companies similar to SWAN and tore out all of that crap. The proprietor came out personally to provide me the quote, which arrived lower.
I've utilized SWAN for a number of home projects that were significant, and they've been great every time!
Throughout the house I had HE heat and central air within a week or so. Amazingly professional and fast, without any fees, and customer service.
Fast forward to this spring, the water heater that is rugged finally craps the bed. The came out and set up a tankless system which will last for decades - and never run out of hot water!
Swan is a client for me and I'm a customer of theirs. Listen to and I expect to see what goes on behind the scenes in addition to experience being a customer. Couldn't be more happy either way. They are helpful and always courteous on the phones while I even if it is clear the person on the opposite end is being an ass. They prioritize and reshuffle techs to acquire customers with major issues.
Just had Amie our today the spring care, to perform and he was thorough, cleaning everything as old furnace. /AC. He noted a few things to keep an competently answered my little questions all. Not only do I feel educated and confident about my equipment's state, but I'm a much more enlightened homeowner to the encounter.
When I purchased my place and needed somebody to take care of my furnace/AC/plumbing I instantly signed up to be a club member to get a low monthly fee. It adds up to about the price of the regular maintenance they schedule and they're looking for the small issues before they become big issues like a deceased furnace in the middle of winter.
Chris
Cheers...
I hope that I don't get him in trouble but he didn't even charge me for the support call! A tip was for my silly error in order. Thanks John from Swan. Customer support is excellent from the initial phone call to allowing John out the back gate...
John came out for an AC issue to my house now. He found it was a micro change issue in under 10 minutes after I explained the conditions of the failure.
Moved into a new location and discovered that the drains requested, and were moving slowly drains to be de-clogged. Ron G took care of the problem, and quickly explained the matter came right on time. I would be permitted to help keep the drains moving He also provided education and resources. Was quite happy with timeliness, the customer service, attention to detail and professionalism. Would not hesitate to get in touch with swan again! Thank you Swan and Ron!
Called them last weekend for a furnace difficulty that presented itself, I was squeezed by them at the exact same moment. Turned out I managed to fix the issue myself and that I cancelled the appointment but it was great to know they could make time and I could call them in a bind. A++ Thanks all at Swan!!
Spencer, the tech they delivered, was considerate and very professional. Lots of understanding and even went as far as to show me a few insider tricks. Scheduled the repairs and they sent the exact same tech that completed the quotation out to finish the repairs which I found to be fine since they were already knowledgeable about the issues. Fixed all of them in 1 day, we was honest with his work, and had a laundry list to finish. Advised they may need to return out if the fix he completed for the shower escape did not work. Turned out it didn't, Swan sent him back out to finish the job. No additional charge and we've been strong ever since! I would highly recommend Swan to anybody following my experience with them.
From begin to finish my experience with Swan was incredible. Called for a quote on a lot of work (new disposer, basket catch, condensate pump, leaky shower, and rerouting a gas line) that needed to be finish on a house we'd just bought. They were able walk through the fix to spot the issues, and answer all of my concerns as a first time home buyer. I reviewed with them several items that among those companies in Denver stated was in need of urgent attention and they were able to address it and fix it in half the price.
