So yeah, they charged me and offered me $60 $209. And they messed my lock up .
His is a great company. They will quote you price and cost you another. Here is what occurred to me:
I went into the only open store in my area (a liquor shop ) and asked them to help me locate a locksmith. They did not have a pages, thus we used one of the phones and they let me call.
OH, and when I called to complain about the tech (he gave me his card eventually) they claimed they had never heard of him. They billed me but they have never heard of him? amazing.
These men are crooks. Plain and simple.
A guy showed up in about thirty minutes. He told me it'd be $180 for the telephone and $29 to start the lock. I argued with him since it had been. I finally gave in since it was now 1am and the store had closed (keep in mind - no jacket, no telephone, no wallet).
Hence my lock opens using a pick thing along with a hammer. Takes him. He says he will only take money. I tell him that he will have to take a charge card and I don't have any money. I need ID. He won't show me any. He tells me that he will drive me into the ATM. I refuse to get in his car. Etc etc..
While I was at work My landlord came by to do some job. If he left he flipped from turning the switch that retains the doorknob. Not the bolt - only the doorknob. So it's not locked as much as it's just impossible to turn the handle.
We assert more. When he sees I've taken a photo of his license plate He eventually relents. Then he's like, let me see whether dispatch will process this to me.
The man told me it'd be 29 for the telephone and $29 as it wasn't a deadbolt or anything to start the lock.
I never do this and I did not realize it had been completed by him. I left the house to throw out the garbage after midnight. It was december, so it was freezing outside. Because I only threw out the garbage, I was at a tshirt. I used ton't have my jacket, wallet, or mobile phone. I realized I had been locked out.
Complete crock of crap. Talked into the dispatcher over the telephone, said it'd be $15 to come out & unlock the car, assumed to be only down the road and it took over an hour to the tech to come out (at a vw car) and let me it'd be over $200 to open my car. I argued that the dispatcher said it was 15, then the tech said it had been to send a tech. I refused to pay $200 to have a slimjim to unlock my car is used by someone, so the tech said he'd talk to his manager. He walked into the other side of his car, came back (without calling/texting or speaking to anybody ), then said okay, how about $80! Can you and your manager consult with ? I refused, this time because I was mad about his"talk with his manager", and requested him to leave. He got mad then hopped in his car & sped off. Obviously I lost about $100 worth of groceries that day as the icecream. I lost about 3 hours of time while I waited to get off work while I waited and also recover my key.
