Great guys. . .change my lock without any issues. . .Definitely highly suggest Webster Lock. . .Great affordable price

Do not obtain the overpriced locks that require a card for duplicate keys. You won't have the ability to find a key, if for any reason on earth you eliminate card and the key and you'll be lost of 200+ dollars to get a lock.
In a nutshell, I asked to talk to a guy I assume was the owner (pete or peter.) I cannot say how: rude, brief, smug disrespectful and down right horrible he had been to me. He cut off lots of times while shooting questions at me before I could finish a sentence and his breath smelled. He treated me as if I had been coming in to try and replicate the key of someone else. He had no regard for me as a customer and I watched him speak quite difficult to an employee. Allow me to be clear, it was not so much he said he could not do it. . It was how he talked to me.
I took the opportunity to see some of the other reviews and I'm glad to see there are. I went in the shop to request a key for my apartment door. The issue is the key. The person who lived in my apartment prior to me brought a particular lock that requires a card, revealing you bought it.

Allow me to start by stating I'd give zero stars if I could to this location.

If I could, I would give no stars. This place is unethical. I paid $200 to get a vehicle key. I had been told there was a guarantee and should being the back together with the receipt if anything goes wrong with the secret.
Well, my distant stopped working. The Latino people there were courteous but deferred into the guy. Get your needs cared for at a shop where you are treated with respect and your business is appreciated. Don't waste your time at Webster Lock and Hardware!

Rudest and men and women that are unprofessional. When the owners (Peter) are also impolite and unprofessional and they allow their staff to be impolite (Simon, Jeremy); and not honoring their word and lying (which in the home safety area is a big red flag) then you know you need to run, not walk, away from this provider. Any landlord who utilizes this company must be. If you are needs DO NOT call this provider. You'll be disappointed every step along the way. Speaking from personal experience. PART I they sent 2 inexperienced"technicians" to repair a telephone intercom system and they DID NOT know how to do the job. WASTED TIME!
PART II is they measured the window wrong in May, vanished, re-appeared in August, lied about evaporating, made an installment of gate appointment (after a series of mails ), then brought the gate that was FILTHY along with the WRONG SIZE. Photo shows their man *by trying to push from the gate that is too big once he ruined the window ledge re-measuring the window. Said that he would need to order a new gate with the size. Then on the date that is assigned another man shows up with a drill in his hand. "Where's the new gate???" They never made a gate that was new. Turned around and invented a lie into the landlord. Total waste of time. Horrible men and women. Horrible customer support. Horrible experience. And now we are being harassed by them by sending us hate mails. OMG!! Please if you like your sanity as well as your safety STAY AWAY FROM THESE ABUSIVE and men and women. If landlord were not employing this location I WOULD NEVER USE.

Oh, and they do these , if you want one of those Toyota car fobs that are expensive.
I predicted this AM about a lock that would not capture correctly. JD was still here. He also reviewed the situation, showed me exactly what the issues were and how they would be resolved by him. He is done, and it's not quite noon and gone, and the door shuts and the lock locks greater than I remember it bending. Cost: $136. Very highly suggested.

The person came within time.
Very polite and knowledgeable. He unlocked my door and I couldn't be happier. I will recommend them to family and friends and will definitely call Webster Locksmiths in the future. Thank you

In addition to Webster Locksmith's terrible technicians, the owner of the company is unprofessional and rude himself. I called to follow up on a fix and the proprietor was just downright rude.
Aside from the job that this company did, among their technicians harassed lots of the tenants . The tech's title is"Hernandez".
Really among service that is midsize and the worst customer service in the city!
"Hernandez" was constantly impolite to tenants whether we had been asking about the brand new doorways or we were only passing by to get in or outside of the construction.
My landlord to install new entrance doors in my building hired this company.
"Hernandez" uttered disparaging slurs to tenants and caused havoc in the construction while installing the doorways. My neighbors felt unsafe around his presence. Why is this person, who obviously has problems and a background, even allowed to work? Webster Locksmith is placing the lives of their customers in danger having a tech like"Hernandez" to signify them.

A fire in the flat above me caused the fire dept to break down my door so I wanted a company that could put in time in precisely the make and door-locks. Webster did it for me. The owner, David, was considerate and quick with his service along with emails in response. Rene the tech they sent us, did a complete fantastic job with my door. He tinkered, set up, re-installed when it did not fit correctly shifted and perfected it. My door and framework are as good as new.
Not sure what all the hoopla's about using the negative reviews below and even when they did a bad job seems like they're quick to try and resolve any issues.

If I could give zero stars to this location I would. The client service and operational procedure here's a joke. I put an order in their shop last Saturday for a security lock and a door . The guy arrives with no things to perform the install, tuesday morning. Apparently I was supposed to be given them in the time? He left and had one lock in his van. No follow up from him or the workplace or direction. I called the very next morning, which was last Wednesday at exactly 10:02AM and verified with someone over the telephone that they would return that Saturday (today). No one arrives. I call and talk to their boss Allen, who tells me was on the books for this day for me personally. I get angry obviously (since this is the 3rd screw up today ) and he states:"tell me the person you talked to and I'll send a guy right now with the locks". Really? Wonderful- so I have to prove to be able to get exactly what I paid for, I talked to a staff? He then goes onto heckle me. To make things worse, he didn't even know what I ordered since they don't keep any client records. I gave him my name, address and nothing. Inform him exactly what I ordered exactly, so that he can reschedule my service date and I needed to fish to my receipt. What company in 2018 doesn't have POS database Sadly this lock was only $34 dollars so I might wait for the next install date, although I contemplated cancelling the order's rest. I paid $256 for I'd have CANCELLED, When it was the security lock! Business lost. I am so sorry I went here, and need to advise others to not go. It was suggested by my management business to go here, and I'll make it a point. Advice to ownership: employ new direction with better people skills and spend in POS equipment so your staff can keep track of things. Terrible, terrible service.

I'd give this place 5 stars. The side the service was decent and great price. But the wrought iron side service is horrible and over priced. This guy Joe has a real attitude problem.

Measurements of my doorway was taken in July along with a brand new doorway was supposed to be installed on Aug 31st, the guys come and began functioning just to realize the door wouldn't fit because the preceding man took the wrong measurements or someone ordered the wrong size doorway, the guys were nice and said call on Tuesday to talk with Erica (who's on holiday for the holiday) bc they could not do anything more to the doorway. I phoned on Tuesday, Sept 4th and left a message for Erica with Jackie. She'd my info on a tacky and jackie said she knew about situation and needed to speak with Erica. I waited all day no call back, no call back on Wednesday. I phoned again on Thursday and left a message with a man no call back. This is Sunday and I now have to wait until Monday, Sept 10th to call. It makes no sense why I could not get a simple call back saying I am aware of the situation, I am sorry the door could not be installed this is what we're going to do to fix the situation. I understand the correct size door has to be reordered but at least call the client. No one calls. The arrangements were made by my management building now I'm stuck with no door and no one to assist.

Had a intercom, so Webster Hardware, who set up the machine in my apartment building originally was called by me. Spoke to Jeremy, who was quite friendly (as was the young lady who responded the telephone ) and he had someone come out the exact same day. The repairman - I believe his name is Morell? - was productive and quite friendly. He did a great job, and all is working today. Overall, very professional and also a great experience. Will stick with this company for needed repairs. A+!

I The lock will not shake up.
After placing a telephone and sending an email, another locksmith was sent by the business the next morning to fix the faulty installation. I'm happy the manager decided to send out someone without having me wait until Monday.
I'm lost for words!! I don't like slamming anyone NOR do in writing negative reviews, I get any joy this is upsetting. Customer support warrants no stars. I don't know why they advertise 24/7 service when it's clear they don't!!
UPDATE:
Following the installation got locked in my apartment!!! paid damn near $500 in CASH for less than 8 hours and work I had to take the lock off the door to escape!! When I called them to take a peek at the lock I was told I had to wait until MONDAY!!! WTF!

Unprofessional and Undependable.How are they in business?
I called in the wee hours of this morning (maybe 2:00 or 3:00 am) and the locksmith never came! Let that sink in a minute. A woman, needing a locksmith at 2:00/3:00 am, being told that"he is on the way", and he never shows up.

What are they kids. Sloppy workmanship is all I find. My door looks like I am in a Third world country.
Our door was replaced by them. The installation went quickly and the door works nicely. On the other hand, the agent was sloppy with this and utilized caulk that is white, I would need to say do not use those people.

These testimonials are probably from the haters! . Once you stop over at Webster Locksmiths you will realize just how long and how much exspierence these men have that its a third generation family operated and owned buisiness!!
Additionally one of the operations in the new york city! . So a great deal of people will envy and despise but its pretty cut and dry over you get what at Webster!

This is my second time along with the experience was consistent. Simon and I talked at 9:30 AM this morning and asked if he would have the ability to fit me in and he said he'll do his best. The locksmith Jeff set up cylinder and a push bar, showed up here at 12:20 PM and was completed in 30 minutes. They come when they say they are and they do pro work. I'm saving for if they return the fifth star. We'll be using them.

I grew up in the Bronx. Webster locksmith has been to us like family. A great deal of getting support from them of years. Bond with all the employees and you start to know. After I require a copy of a key and moved to Orange County NY when I'm town we go to them. Thanks for the years of support

Staff are very dishonest. They look like they are on methadone. If you don't need to ripped off, don't go hear.

Unprofessional, Poor Customer Service- The employees here have no respect for your time and are not prone to providing customer support (impolite ). The owner (manager) has poor communication abilities as well. (save your time and money, trust me!!)
