Mario is awesome. Very impressed by hard work and Mario and his honesty. I had a flow that he found in virtually no time. Service and it had been done equally efficiently and fast. I am satisfied with the job and would like to commend Mario for his honesty and his work ethic. Highly recommend.
We had been told that they do not do residential. They gave us a number for support experts. They told us to call a plumber. . .really?
Customer support.
They left clients high and dry and ended/sold their own AC division that is residentail. They offered us the incorrect device installed it poorly, fo our home and forced an unit and because then we have been several times. They have replaced etc , the thermostat, coils and STILL we're having issues. The humidity in the home wont go below 50 percent. The Trane rep is attempting to assist us. This company is clueless and is a joke.

We received a couple of quotes from various service dealers... At the end, we chose to go with the infamous Westbrook, again-Why not give them another shot. The above had to deal with plumbing and this must deal with AC/Heat (nevertheless... not my final choice but I had no other option).
I had been told that the Technician they were sending out dwelt in precisely the exact same place so that they advised him to come out to my house between 9 and 11am... So, 11:30 rolls around and, in turn, and thus do my phone calls to the workplace. After making many calls to the office to figure out the whereabouts of the neighborly technician I had been given quite vague answers, such as,"He is currently in route... He is on I-4"... Long story short, the technician never showed up during regular business hours nor reached me out. At 6:30pm I receive a call from the Technician ensuring he was still OK to come over and saying that he had been in the region. My response..."Absolutely not...". After describing him my frustration he had been apologetic nor comprehension. He actually gave me attitude once I told him he was not about to come over to my house. We re-scheduled for the subsequent morning... And, again, he had been late but I called his guide line to determine where he had been because he did not seem to respect my time and let me know why he had not shown up yet. The explanation was so ridiculous it is worth me placing this particular review. . He arrived at my location. He did not leave until 8:30pm Tuesday night and STILL required to order parts and have me wait for the issue to be resolved til the day. I was told by the technician he expedited/over-nighted the part on Tuesday night so the part should arrive by Wednesday mid-morning. This way, we don't have to go the Thanksgiving weekend without water. He lied. I found out that the part hadn't been ordered by him ! He eventually comes out. He was a prick. He tried charging us the full volume. Payment was refused by me until a manager provided and assessed compensation for the lack of communication and hassle . Had he come out on MONDAY through NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS... This issue would have been resolved right before the holiday. I put this man on the'NEVER SEND THIS TECHNICIAN BACK TO MY HOUSE' list. This technician goes by the title of Mitch.
Rather, it had a mind of its own and might continue to get hotter and hotter as the day moved on reaching and sustaining 81 degrees. This continued the following day (the 27th) which is when I contacted the office to have somebody come back out because there was definitely an issue with the unit which was installed on the 26th; the day started at 74 degrees and stopped around 81 degrees. It had been one of the same people who set up the unit two days prior. I said,"No, at night it becomes cooler and, therefore, the temperature in the house gets cooler but if you notice I have it set to be 70 degrees inside and it still saying 73 degrees then something isn't functioning." He had been here for about 45 minutes then he comes inside to inform me that he's leaving. I then questioned...,"does that mean that everything is nice and that I will begin feeling cooler?" . He said,"Yes, and then reiterated that sometimes the insulating material in the house prevents new units to cool down to the temperature we need it at at first but it'll start working." He left and then confirmed the inside and outside units were both functioning correctly.
We had them all come out to the 26th to substitute the units and they did advise that they'd be at the house the day. I confirmed that would be okay. Everything seemed fine until I discovered that the AC wasn't going to the temperature it had been set by me at which was 70 degrees since the minute they left Tuesday afternoon.
Our water heater had stopped Monday before Thanksgiving. It had been leaking so it had to be turned off to prevent an electrical fire.
74 degrees quickly became 79 degrees. My boyfriend called the workplace. He had been advised they had ordered a part and had a technician to come back out on Monday. The technician NEVER told me . So, here's to waiting until Monday...
Our AC Unit barely made it into the 21st Century. It broke down each day so it was time to get a replacement of the inside, the two and outside units.
Whatever you do, stay as far away from Westbrook. Before dealing with them ever 15, I would rather burn my house to the floor.
The worst. Why am I sitting here with no air conditioning after spending tens of thousands and tens of thousands of dollars? Why is it that they seem to get an answer as to why my air conditioner does not work, when they are those who installed it? Why do I have to request a seasoned technician rather than a rookie being always sent by them?
We're so happy we picked Westbrook to perform our Pipes and AC. We live in a 93yr historical home after it began so the plumbing needed a great deal of surprise problems. The whole team was professional and educated and committed to making it right. The work is superb. We will certainly use them again. The drywall fix at the close of the work.
I do not even know where to start! I Wouldn't recommend Westbrook Gas for anybody! So my husband wanted gas fire pit and a pavers patio. First off, the technician has been an hour late to perform the free estimate (that my paver guy said was somewhat high but someone else quoted us even greater ) then he was over 2 hours late to install the gas pipe line. Never did I get a phone call saying he'd be late. I had to phone them and find out what was taking so long. The tech could return to link the gas once the pipe was set up. SO that was completed, I asked if they can send the tech out to link it and called them. The woman I spoke to said she'd call the technician if he could come out, to find out. He is called by her and puts me on hold then comes back and says he has concerns before he could continue. I am quite confused and I said ok can my husband be called by him since he knows more about it than me. So we waited and called for two days. So I am frustrated as my paver guy can't complete his work until the gas becomes connected and it has been over a week now. I called back and I said get that figured out and I wished to speak to a supervisor, or so the guy said someone would phone me soon as the manager was at a meeting. My husband did although I never got a telephone call from a supervisor. Hence the supervisor was confused and said he'd find out what is going on and get back to us. So I called AGAIN for the next time to schedule the technician to come finish the 22, we did not listen. Mario he could not connect the gas before the pavers were cut for the control panel to fit so it didn't move and finally came back out. I called our paver guy and he said he generally doesn't cut before that was completed, until after but I told him the gas guy would not do anything. I am quite angry at this stage I need the project to be finished. It's been two weeks and called back for the FOURTH time and told them to send out a technician to complete the job and I wished to talk to a supervisor after the pavers were cut. AGAIN, they said the manager was busy and would call me back. I said okay can we only get a technician '' he said he'd call me back after he looks at the schedule. NO ONE returned my phone. I spoke and called with Kristy, who's known about my troubles, and she cried for a supervisor not calling me back and she'd make sure Jack calls me. Then she informs me that I scheduled an appointment for the technician to come out. I said"No Kevin was supposed to call me back to schedule it". So I said"Ok that is fine only make Jake calls me. If he doesn't call me in 1 hour I shall call back". After I hang up with Kristy I get a telephone call. So I explained him everything and he cried a couple of times and I will make certain everything is taken care of tomorrow. I would expect him to make it at least offer a refund. A brand new technician shows up, the next morning. I go to check on him and he said this is really hard because Mario set the pipe up." OMG. So the guy screwed this up. Once the guy finishes I pay (surprised there is no discount or anything for all the trouble). The technician did not use the pipe that came with the burner unit, but instead used one that he had and obtained ours!! While the guy of the paver is completing the flame pit with pavers, we discovered there was a very high pitched whistling sound and test the unit out. So we take a look at the instructions with all the burner unit and it said if a sound is, there is a problem with the pipe. Hence the tech (who apparently is their best technician ) screwed up our passion pit! My husband who's an engineer decided to correct the problem they created and called the supervisor and told him around. He offered a refund! I paid far I ought to find a refund. Then Jake, the supervisor, said he'd call back the next day. So we called back the next day and my husband spoke to Jake and he offered us $90 refund. I have never had such a poor experience. My husband had to fix their error that I paid that took over 2 weeks to finish! They should have done what was appropriate and refunded the whole quantity. I expect no one gets the experience we had with Westbrooke Gas.
I had both a quotation for air conditioning installation and electrical and plumbing work. I did much of this through e-mail with their firm....MISTAKE!!
There is. And, then, there's the grown-up pre-internet part that says"if you can not say anything nice don't say anything at all". PHOOEY.
Electric: We, at first, thought the electrical was fine. . .gave them a list and got it done. Except he did not. The very first, most significant (potentially life-threatening) item on the list was ignored. Except that we'd discussed it I would, again, blame it on the Westbrook communication. He gave us a quote of $17K. In a follow-up conversation using a non-Westbrook contractor, it looks like the matter with that"quotation" was actually not a thing. My online research seemed to indicate that that amount was RIDICULOUS. I have almost the same list I gave to these folks initially to deal with. Luckily, I have since learned my lesson.
I don't know whether Westbrook is only inept or actually motivates their builders to....we'll proceed with....exaggerate, however I'd run fast and far from them.
Pipes: The plumbing was done fine. He was an older school plumber. . .gave him a list and he realized that which was on his list. What he got wrong was because of the communication between Westbrook and their sub-contractors.
Andthere was that the A/C. . .when the a/c guy he gave a guesstimate to us. . .it even would have appeared fair if he bumped it up a few thou when he started looking into it. But, when his real quote wandered around, it was $24K!! So, actually? $24K to get a item which gets wishy-washy reviews and much more than doubles the estimates of everyone else? Really? I believe not.
I initially looked into this company since they did all of the things I needed in my house and I figured communication could be better because of the....no.
Outstanding work, friendly and capable staff and technicians. I'm selling my home and Westbrook did a, numerous plumbing and electrical repairs and place electrical , plumbing and the A/C in tip top form. Thank you Westbrook.
I've been using Westbrook Service for several years. I have experiences, and also the odd chance I do not get. On my very last service which was a tankless water heater maintenance, Jay was professional and incredibly efficient. My equipment (both HVAC and plumbing) has been working well with the ongoing maintenance required.
Had some work done. Mike in electrical spot on with a tech which handled my dilemma and showed up on time, educated and was helpful.
Terrible service! I made an appointment ahead of time to get a house we don't reside in for 9 a week with them. I explained the whole situation and has been confident someone would meet with me . Waited till 9:30-called to make sure someone was coming. Was told there was an emergency telephone if he would be out-he and so they weren't certain would call an hour ahead of? Excuse me? Why did no one call me and respect my time? They could not have been unapologetic. No big deal-you lose anybody else's and my organization who anticipates good service.
Was sitting at a stoplight to get at least 3 minutes because of Westbrook vehicle refusal to run a yellow. Vehicle shows no signs of urgency though obviously in a 24 hour emergency vehicle.
I've been using Westbrook since I bought my house. I've used them for plumbing, electrical and Air conditioning service. They make up for it while they are not the cheapest option in the city. Their technicians are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They take the opportunity to find the job done RIGHT. My residence isn't the easiest to work because of the way its designed, so often times they must spend more time than ordinary on simple things like replacing my hot water heater, etc.. They have gone beyond and above. I can't recommend them enough. First rate each time and my very first phone call when anything goes wrong!
I called Westbrook to install a doorbell. Did Mike expertly put in my new push button and hang the chime, but he eliminated my fashioned for me. Mike was very professional and more than polite. He explained me everything and picked up following his occupation. Offering you Westbrook and Mike.
Westbrook altered our entire A/C system . Since that time we have been hit with thousands of dollars in repairs. On average every 6 weeks my new AC breaks, I must have kept my system. The repair costs are outrageous although the pieces are under warranty. As the repairs began mounting and I questioned the quality of work that the Westbrook supervisors were quite clear that this is"normal" Therefore, in the event that you agree it is normal to have a new $$$ AC strategy break every six months proceed with this business but if you want quality workmanship go some place else.
We love Lenox air conditioners. And Westbrook is your place to get Lenox. They understand their equipment and the newest inside and outside. We replaced our complete system and it works as we anticipated and Westbrook takes great care of our system and us.
We have been used Westbrook for years. Their technicians are both sincere and fair. It's a company I'll refer to my pals.
I used my Trane A/C unit to be installed by Westbrook over 5 decades back. They were recommended by Angie's list members. Ever since that time I receive a call reminding me its time to get my semi-annual tune up. The technicians are always on time or early, they're polite and efficient. They may not be the cheapest in the city but they're great with customer support.
