I have had several contacts. I am so happy they were chosen by me, and obtained estimates before choosing F&A. Sean and frank were both very friendly and helpful throughout every contact I had and each question I posed. When desired the tasks were completed, and with excellent results. They charged me substantially. They were a pleasure to socialize with, did good job, cleaned after their tasks were completed, and were knowledgable, friendly, punctual. F&A Plumbing clearly cares about offering an excellent service to their clients and I highly recommend them.

These guys have helped me one time adjusting what a umber couldn't mend, in 5 minutes, getting my dishwasher. Still another time helping with a sewage spill. Thank you guys!

I have had Frank and his staff help me with three occupations. The biggest job was installing a water heater in a cupboard that is little - not an perfect place but the one alternative. He also fixed a toilet and quite a nasty clog in our kitchen sink. If you've got a plumbing need that is the guy. It is very easy working with this business. Rates are reasonable - they charge you for the service and not by the hour. You know what you'll be paying upfront without any hidden additional costs.

The proprietor was wonderful and. He was the one who came and recognized the water heater dilemma and gave a recommendation to us about how we can conserve a bit of cash. On the day, his two employees came 2 hours and never known to provide the heads up that they would be quite late. Additionally, both employees not followed the owner's recommendation/suggestion after being educated by him on the telephone. They did it their way and handed it off as a boss' recommendation that wasn't all that great.

I had a leak under my sink. Called F&A and the owner Frank showed up. Very professional and great communication. He even had booties to pay his boots not to mess our flooring up. He was done in less than 30 min and cheap. I am expecting my first child in a few months and Frank had a baby and he had plenty of daddy advice. Highly recommend!

Frank and sean from A & F did a fantastic job for all of us on a kitchen faucet replacement. They switched out the tap and set up new angle stops. The job was completed clean and good and in a timely manner. I would definitely urge F & A for any work plumbing. Because men!!

I can not say enough great stuff about staff and Frank! They installed a brand new dishwasher for us, three sinks, a garbage disposal, and they did the rough in work to get a brand new shower pipes. A few days after we had something else and they came back almost instantly!
Professional, clean, fast,courteous, reasonably priced...I couldn't ask for more!

Water heater is also crooked on the stand - which their man said was"no big thing." Perhaps for you man. They left a rust water stain which they did come out to wash off, upon leaving.
I'd recommend to not use this company. You get what you pay for although they were the least expensive. I wish I had paid another hundred bucks to use my plumber. Lesson learned.
They and called PG&E confirmed the gas flex line has been still leaking. They fixed F&A's work and asked me because they couldn't tell when the work was done by a professional.
Following the setup was complete my garage smelled of gasoline. After notifying F&A, they said that shouldn't happen and they would come out THE following morning. Bear in Mind, there is a GAS LEAK.
Steller reviews on Yelp. Based on my personal experience I think the majority of the reviews are imitation.

I checked the closest and highest rated plumbers here another day when my water heater leaked. Fortunately Frank was able to send over Shaun to assess what the issue was. Turned out that my 25 year-old heater was on the dying stages of it. Frank came back and replaced it. He was fast and meticulous. Wonderful guy. Highly recommended.

Then my shutoff outside was stripped. Ouch!!! Frank himself responded to my phone within an hour of my phone and was kind enough to tug Shawn off another (indoors ) job to help with my crisis. Shawn spent 4 hours fixing the line inside and out and his craftsmanship was great. Price was first quote as promised.

Highly recommend.
Frank did a wonderful job. We had issues with the water temperature and not only did Frank fix what turned out to be a problem but he had been wise. We have used him to help with dishwasher issues, and will continue to utilize him.

Called message and Frank, he called again same day to make afternoon appointment to get a tub drain unclog that was slow. $350 from roof drain to snake.

What can one say about F&A... quickly, job done, job done tremendously well, reasonably priced, considerate, AND... they could repair an old fixture that two other technicians stated they were unable to repair. I am calling F&A if we ever have another plumbing issue again. They do great work. Highly recommend!

Once the tub in her home got clogged, her story began a couple of weeks back. She told me about the problem and about a plumber told her the entire sewer line leading and called me. I asked her where she found the plumber and I was told by her . Hearing that I chose to step in and help her locate a plumber to go with. After viewing the terrible reviews and getting on yelp, I gave three plumbers I thought would do an exceptional job and did some research of my own.
Attempts tried to purge the pipe. After unsuccessfully doing so he gave my mother a quotation of a couple thousand dollars and said a similar thing about replacing the plumbing. My mother told me"I have a good feeling about this man" and was about to proceed ahead with spending two or three thousand dollars without getting a quote from anyone else on the list. I told her she MUST get the following quotation and I. That is when she predicted F&A Plumbing. Frank came over to my mother's home and spent lots of time and hard work to purge the pipe. After 1.5 hours that he was able unclog it!!
My mother was very very delighted with the support she received. She stated Frank was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She enjoyed the fact that Frank explained the procedure and difficulties in detail. He gave a very fair cost to and saved my mother thousands of dollars in the procedure. Today she can shower without needing to make a few trips to her boyfriend's place.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother since she's not"internet" educated and she requested that I do so.
I think I will give a call if I ever run at my property into plumbing problems to Frank.

I ask him how much he charges per hour. Says he can not say,"I just need to start working on a part and move from there. ...".
I simply had him. Called him up and asked his bill per hour. "I can not give you that, I must observe the problem." This time he comes to help him. At any rate, he charges over twice as much for the same exact job.
He recommends my entire sewer line has to be redone to grow the slope. I ask what the slope needs to be and he says"I consistently recommend as much as you can." The dude behind him suggests 1/8" per foot. The latter would be the answer that is correct. Too good a slope causes problems with venting and odor...
I had this guy out two years to fix a plugged. He did the job and also the fee was reasonable.
It is highway robbery.

Needless to say, Frank will be the very first person I would call for any plumbing requirements.
So I did just that. I discovered F&A Plumbing, called him on a Friday night, and Frank arrived by the next afternoon. Throughout the Friday night telephone, he told me that a range of estimate. Then he came from the following day, made the repair in about 2 hours, and I texted him pictures of this flange and the estimate was within the range I was quoted by him the evening before.
I really appreciate he would take his time to put on and remove shoe covers each single time he comes in and out of my house. It's little things like this makes a difference for me personally. And of course he is friendly, honest, polite, and respectful, and something I sometimes find lacking in contractors from my expertise (particularly honesty).
I had floors redone on my home, and my brand new floors was somewhat lower compared to the old floor; therefore, the toilet flange is no longer flush, and my toilet won't seat correctly, leaving a major gap between the bottom of the toilet and my brand new floors. The only way to solve the solution was to call a licensed plumber.

Frank came the same day I was on time, called and even charged me less than I was quoted by him to get a kitchen drain full of leaves. Very professional and polite!

Frank came for a project: unclogging the kitchen sink and substituting a toilet sink.
He did these three jobs was also a fantastic person to work with and also very professional. He is an honest guy -- I would highly recommend!
He was also professional, hard-working, and prompt. He turned the water off to the house, took a valve in-stride, explained what was happening and immediately replaced the valves. His job was comprehensive, he substituted the toilet faucet, unclogged the kitchen sink. While he had been substituting the bathroom faucet he noticed our toilet toilet water was running (this was a long standing issue I had forgotten about) and mended that on the place as well.
