We've worked with Scott and Newton on a few properties and are delighted to continue to use him.
Scott is great. The quality of his work speaks for itself, he's honest, and prices everything fairly. The phone is really picked up by his staff and will call you straight back.

I've lived in Los Angeles for 12 decades and we have used several plumbers. Today is the very first time in 12 years I felt as though I received the amount of support I expect from a company. So I have high expectations, my dad owns a plumbing business on the east coast. Newton Plumbing exceeded those expectations now. It was easy to make an appointment. Scott listened to what I needed and was friendly. I shifted the appointment and they accommodated my schedule. Our tech Mike actually showed. I showed him what had to be repaired (and also two other tiny issues that I had forgotten to mention about the telephone ) and he repaired everything in a timely manner. His advancement was communicated by him to me throughout and everything is fixed! They charged me a very fair sum for the work done and I will certainly be calling them. Thank YOU Newton plumbing to be fair and honest. Much appreciated.

Had a great experience with Newton! I would certainly recommend them. I called on a Sunday evening using a issue and I got a call back immediately and they came the next morning punctually & resolved my issue, though it was not an emergency! Very efficient, professional and got the job.

Sewage started bubbling up at the shower and bathtub, this afternoon. I called Newton and they showed up from the afternoon.

I wanted to upgrade the Yelper with a 5 decades review. The previous 5 decades have been held up for by the work around / fix, once more demonstrating this was the way to go. :-)

This company claims they are"Open 24 Hours a Day" however this is not a true statement. I called them last night at 10:32 PM (and spoke with Rhonda) and at 11:02 PM (and spoke with John) and NO ONE has returned my phone yet. This is a legitimate emergency. Myself stranded me and my keys had dropped at a Grocery Store into a floor drain. I needed a plumber to snake out the drain and then retrieve my keys. Here it's 14 HOURS LATER and NO ONE has given the courtesy of a phone to me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We have used Newton in the past, and if they've actually called back to program, they've been good. But when I've needed they call back, rather than take down my name and number every time! Last time was the Friday at 5:11pm. The lady said Friday, they'd call me. They could check their records or call logs to confirm. I asked if she was sure they'd call since the previous time a couple of months ago they never called me back and we had to use somebody else. She stated Friday, someone would call me back. Not certain if they check their Yelp, but this is ridiculous, I want to know if they're too busy for your job and maybe someone could bother to actually call me back. I shouldn't need to call when we've used them before without incident or beg to get their business.

They fixed a leak in our bathroom sink. They didn't fix it and we didn't notice. It had been leaking after the fix under the cupboard for a while. They came and fixed it again and we needed to ask them to fix the cabinet which had been damaged. They finally came and place in a new cupboard floor, but the harm was done and now we smell the cabinet rot and need to receive the cupboard.

Super appreciative the proprietor who replied my call that is urgent to get my Noritz water heater back in operation - and all. It turned out that - after analyzing the gas in the stove - my emergency gas shutoff valve had tripped. An easy reset and back to a warm shower and a joyful weekend.

I had difficulties with my water heater. They helped me out. Dont look on craigslist. Its mainly a waste of time.

Scott and his staff conduct a operation. We had two pipes, one under a crawl space, which they fixed and replaced at a very efficient manner. They are reasonable, professional, and timely . Firms were of this caliber, if only all home improvement/remediation. Our buddies who referred us said that these guys are REALLY good; we found for ourselves that they were not exaggerating. Thank you!

I can not even tell you how happy we are. We have had issues with our plumbing for years, and had misdiagnosed what was incorrect or done with a band-aid alternative that is half-assed.
It took Mike from Newton of 30 minutes to determine less than an hour to fix it, and exactly what our problem was.

Following 50 years of seeing the business trucks I got smart and called them. I cannot believe the high degree of workmanship and service I've had. Scott, the owner, has been on along with the craftsmen he has working really are super - clean, attentive and experienced. The repair was a brand new gas line (something you want done correctly!) And their price was reasonable, the process clearly explained to me before the start and NO SELLING! I was told by mike Diamond's guy my sewer line was leaking that they had allegedly fixed less than 8 weeks ago! Please give Newton Plumbing the opportunity and trust without even taking advantage of you as they state, they will do.

I phoned them to replace our water heater. Mike was very helpful, and he was always on call for any queries. And I had many. Because I know nothing about water heaters.
Mike came by to get a scheduled project. It took half that time. We have a brand new water heater and reassurance.
I highly suggest Newton Plumbing as your neighborhood plumber.

I realize that the professional services of a single employee don't necessarily reflect the company's work, and judging from other reviews and this customer support, I finally have faith that this is how it is. I just wish more businesses realized the advantage of customer support, because this really is just one dissatisfied customer who'd be willing to provide Newton Plumbing another chance. But next time I will request one of those plumbers with a good inspection:--RRB- Thanks!
I truly love a company that goes the extra mile to satisfy an unhappy client. I heard from Newton Plumbing--they'd seen my unfavorable inspection and were not comfortable with leaving a client so dissatisfied. When he called, he explained that not all technicians work equally (which I totally understand), and also that particular plumber was likely technically following protocol. He knew why I felt overcharged, so that he offered to refund all over the 59 flat-rate for drain-clearing and apologized.

Let me preface by saying that these men did a fantastic job and really cleaned my drain (unlike Scheulke, bleh).
The dilemma is they totally attempted to rip me off. They never qouted a cost before beginning the work, but it says clearly on the website that there is to unclog a drain, a unique. The regular price for this service is $89. Why did Jose the plumber inform me that it's $149? Once I mentioned the website, he backed off saying"really? Can he just throw out a number and determine if I would do it? Was it as unclogging drains a sexist thing, like a woman can't possibly know the cost of such items? Sooooo unacceptable. Because they did a stellar job, I would consider using this company again. However, as I've had, if anybody shares a similar experience, there will be no chance of me phoning them or recommending this business to anybody else. Honesty goes far in building a lifetime customer base and that I would have utilized Newton PLumbing only had it not been to the practices.
In any case, thanks to unclogging my drain.

We had hired Newton Plumbing so as to replace a leaky gas pipe near the water heater. They replaced the gas pipe and charged a reasonable fee.
I decided to give a phone to them. A two guy work team had been dispatched by newton. I explained I had issues with the toilet and it was clear that the sewer line had backed up due to matter .
I was able to figure out what caused the original clog a couple of months later, the tree roots out of my neighbor's over increased tree (the tree is located several feet from the municipal sewer line ) had invaded the sewer line. I arrived to the conclusion that the clog once I noticed that every time I flushed clorox down the toilet the leaves on my neighbor's tree turned yellow and then they'd drop off was being caused by the roots.
They spent twenty five minutes from the sewer line then out of the grim said the difficulty came from the pipes that were communal falling apart. In addition they stated that since this pipe was located in the rear of my house I was responsible for the maintenance of it. By saying that if I didn't replace the pipe I would continue to get this problem, they continued on. Given that they didn't even fit a camera probe that I became suspicious. I advised them I would have to think about.

Leaky heater - assessed Yelp and called them after reading reviews. Their guy came and saw the leak, thought he had a hose in his truck, called supervisor and the office wanted to charge $225 to change a single leaky hose. Instead, roommate went bought the hose ( $17 at Home Depot) and it took over 10 minutes to change. Their pricing - ripoff.
