Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Diego County

Had to make an emergency call over the weekend, and they picked up the telephone right away. Very easy to make appointment. They sent two reminders.
I got home in the ancient, and the plumber has been elastic and arrived. The technician who showed up was very clear and explained me the issue nicely.
Very professional. Not certain why anybody would give a bad review, which really frees me by contacting them... glad I called.
The quote they gave me was greater than another company associated with my HOA (which is very normal and acceptable for me).

I understood that was a cost and didn't like they didn't show so I called a plumber on yelp I have used before. Scheduled up it and they charged me nearly half what Mr Rooter billed. The technician from rooter saved this from being a 1 Star since he was great and simply going by the business line (and didn't create the scheduling dilemma ).
I had turf installed at my home by a business and they struck on a water pipe called Mr Rooter to fix and whilst excavating. The technician did a fantastic job and the turf company paid, but I recognize there is a flow in my water meter box. The town comes out and claims it's on my side and inquired that was the cause of the flow and if we'd turned off the water frequently.
I call mr rooter to check it out since they closed the water off to your pipe leak. They said they'll be there next day 8am-10am. I then got a call they be there about 1pm and would be late. After that I never got a call and no trip. I called at 4pm and thought I would hear back the next day. They stated if I pinpointed, HUH and the service call was canceled at 1pm? I have a water flow why would I cancel. They said sorry we'll be there tmrow involving 1-3. They state it's a level $1800 to fix the valve in my side of the meter and the warranty doesn't cover it and show up.

Mr. Marquez was considerate and profession and that I would highly recommend him and Mr. Rooter to anybody needing same day plumbing.
Even though the cost was more than I desired, I am a really satisfied client.
I called Mr. Rooter because a different plumber that came by was not able to repair our plumbing issue. Two hours after that phone call, they shipped out Mr. Marquez who inspected the issue, provided an on-the-spot-quote, and started work. My plumbing issues were fixed.

I will start with saying I've submitted a formal complaint to the BBB about this matter . If I write this review and could give zero stars I would. Mr. Rooter was hired by a real estate agent to execute a sewer review on my home on 9/16/19 which was in escrow. Was called Jesus Arreola. Jesus is recorded on our ring security system telling the agent that our pipes are in good condition and asking if she's the"buying or selling agent". After she states she's the buying agent he then proceeds to inform her that we've clay pipes (we do not they're ABS pipes all replaced in 2000) and major root Intrusion that must be repaired. He's recorded on video telling the broker as they're required care or the new buyers are going to have quite costly repairs to take care of, to never take no for an answer from us on fixes. Mr. Arreola then writes up an estimate of repair for 6,936.00 which comprises digging a 4x4 ditch in our yard and cutting and replacing piping. We pushed back on the agent asking for video or an official review report to reveal where the damages that they witnesses that needed repair the pipes were really damaged. The agent stated it would cost 50 additional dollars for a USB of the video, my husband called to recover the video and we had been told no video was shot at the time of review and they would need to return and redo the review for another fee to get. We clearly refused and the agent then call Mr. Rooter who advised her our pipes were"75% blocked and one awful flush will price 60k+ of damages into the home". We called in a plumber to do a sewer review and he completed on 9/28 with an official video. The video shows all of our piping is ABS pipes until the clay link. He found one area and zero root intrusion that he was able to flush out at 5 minutes. Total price 200.00 and 30 minutes of work. Mr. Rooter is a dishonest company who uses predatory sales techniques to scare clients into thousands of dollars of fixes which aren't needed. They understand they're lying when they do their job or they would provide reports or video of every review they do to back up their claims for repairs and clearly shouldn't be in company. Do not use

Great response time. They fixed the matter, addressed the issue, and came out the exact same afternoon. Really knowledgeable and answered all of my queries.

I shelled out around $1,000 and the problem has not changed...
I've got a backup in my house which required pipes, and such as previous articles, he(the plumber) couldn't snake past 10-20 feet, so he provided to elevated pressure clean the pipes. My house has all new pipes around the house but a single old pipe in which it connects to the city.
Sorry to say, I don't feel the technician knew what he do! I had to direct him to the, he'd opened the drain which belongs to the property .
A quotation about the best way best to fix this and also I need to receive a plumber here. I think it like he knew what he was doing, I would think about using them to fix the problem, but I really feel as that I had been scammed by these men, the technician sounded
Paid over $1,000 for the problem to come back.

I had a nice experience with the individual who took my phone to set up a appointment. I had a wonderful experience with Andrew Colorado who came out to fix a clogged toilet on 7/13/19. He was on time, courteous, wore booties fixed the plumbing issue, did a fantastic job using cleanup. In general, I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter to other people trying to find a good plumber.

The ceremony today was awful. CODY wouldn't honor the quote I had been given on the telephone. He desired tried to explain the voucher was for outside my residence. I called the supervisor Javier who explained that Cody was wrong
I wouldn't recommend this company.

The only reason why I gave these men to celebrities was because they came pretty quickly. Besides that, they try to gouge you. You will find roots in my sewer line which were clogging it up. They quoted me to fix this. They said the price was non-negotiable. I got somebody else to do it. Not cool.

We believed that our sewer line needed cleaning out due to the toilets randomly shedding water. Jesus Arreola out of Mr. Rooter showed up timely and checked out the situation. He ascertained that the problem wasn't the sewer line but rather a problem in the toilets themselves. He gave some advice to us too and fixed the issue. I really appreciated Jesus' honest strategy and he helped save us money. I'd certainly utilize Mr. Rooter in the future.

Since he was professional, friendly, and helpful, I requested Omar. He and I communicated during the process about what they'd get completed when and what they needed. Each member of this group was focused on the task at hand and professional. Omar is a mentor that is great and in Anthony I see a Omar. Plus they finished the job one. You must be quite happy to have them in your team.

This type of service doesn't come together often. Sergio Alcala came within hours of my request, on time!
If you want a professional, licensed, honest plumber with heart and integrity, you will want to maintain Sergio Alcala's number with Mr. Rooter Plumbing on convenient.
I couldn't have been relieved and thankful for Sergio.
He took his time to assess it and give me his honest and professional advice and was compassionate with all the distress I was being caused by this situation.

I called he and my plumber unclogged the drain and charged me $30!!! These folks are either incompetent or dishonest.
Long story short, I predicted to have a drain cleaned and following two visits the price went from $350 to $1500+. My routine plumber was not accessible that was why I called Mr. Rooter..saw some very good testimonials. I paid them $350 and shipped away..should not have paid them anything as they did not do anything.

Be prepared to show these men the door after their business practices. Everything you did was waste everybody's time.
$89 drain cleaning is exactly what they quoted me on the telephone to get a drain cleaning, aka"snake". Price was $240 now that the tech came. Line with no obstructions too. One of the simpler drain cleanings to deal with.
Completed Rooter - you've managed to give another pipes service call a bad name.

Had a kitchen sink clog in our older home (built in the 60s) Very pleased with work obtained. Prompt arrival and courteous service. Jesus Arreola, our Tech, was kind and educated , even offering suggestions to help avoid the problem from recurring. He was able to clear the clog and be out the door in under 45 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to phone and would request Jesus.

I called Mr.Rooter on Friday, 10/12/18. So our occupation - clogged tub drain - isn't urgent and significant . We cannot take showers - .
Spoke to Ali. Asked for urgent service on Saturday or Friday night. Ali stated:
My husband waited for 2 hours to be informed by Rose that the plumber will be 1/2 hour . Later on she can not come until Monday and called to announce that their people are occupied with more urgent jobs.
Don't guarantee the client, if you can not garantee the work done when you mentioned it'll be performed.
We are certainly will never call them. It feels as though they get all the jobs potential and then determine what is rewarding for them to do in the
"No problem, someone is going to be there on Saturday, 10/13/18, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m." Sounds great to me.

Nice to see an inability to maintain your workforce managed represents an inconvenience on my part. Recommend going with any other of those respectable services in this area. Avoid at all costs, otherwise they will find a way.
I program service . On Friday evening, I get a call saying they overbooked their employees and they would like to appear on Monday.

They could clean a storm drain that the other firm could not. I called another company and had a jolt in a storm drain. Company cable snaked it and attempted hydrojetting the storm drain point and indicated that my drain might be broken and would need to cut concrete and excavate to replace plumbing. I wasn't entirely convinced that it was broken, and wished to prevent cutting off concrete, so I called Mr. Rooter for a second opinion. I had seen on another Yelp! Review that Mr. Rooter managed to solve an issue that another firm couldn't.
Con - it was very expensive cable and hydrojetting was super expensive compared to. If there was a gap in what or gear efficiency, I really don't know.
The recommendation here was to cable snake and if this didn't work, hydro jet with water free of fee for the snake. I was concerned the cable would tear up the pipes, based on what I had noticed the day before... so I picked for hydro jet. He managed to clean the line by going uphill from the drain spout (instead of directly in the jammed storm drain, basically going reverse). Not sure why this wasn't thought of by the company.
Overall, they cleared my drain and I am happy despite the cost.

Do your homework before employing those men, it's best to look around and find a good plumber that is honest than to find the fastest. Quality over advantage. They quoted us almost 4k - while they were still here whether that's only the usual price for that sort of job to see, I phoned plumbers. Nope. Found a guy who fixed it for a bit. Not to mention that the jumble of literal crap the guy tracked through my home... booties don't work if you step in the wreck and continue to use them. Learn from my mistake... find somebody else.
