Big Apple Plumbing and Heating

Jason told me he can get a technician out between 3-4pm. Technology revealed up at 2:45, ideal. He let me know he was enroute. He was friendly and very professional. Walked me pulled every step. Job was finished and he checked a few times to confirm any leaks or no leak on the pipe. I have pipes.
Noticed escape this morning in my cellar. Called and talked to the proprietor, Jason. This is my second time using them.
I use them and would definitely recommend them

Very overpriced. Do your research in advance or else expect to cover 1.5-2x the price for items.
To upgrade the remarks from the proprietor that he shifted (after pretending to not remember): wish I had the text, so that I could put it up here but I was asked to remove this review by the proprietor. We had 3rd and 2nd quotes performed on our house in addition. I then it had it supervised by another"specialist" and no one even came close to their quote. Our lines were perfectly nice.
Great if you need a last minute fix.
They tear you off and will try if you're not careful. They will attempt to tell you that you need to have particular services done since their"specialist" says so. They will then quote you $25,000 to fix an entire pipe from start to finish when 95% of your pipe is perfectly alright. They will attempt to convince you and stress you that this is the only way to"solve your problem".
Don't be duped! Get more quotes! Their evaluations are being falsely elevated by this company and updating their opinions to make it seem their poor reviews are their customers' defects! For a business that"depends on their client's experience", they're extremely unprofessional and unprofessional.

Jason answered my phone to a Sunday. Our basement drain backed up. He sent Gabriel outside to help us. Gabriel was at our home within one hour call and that he was very clear and useful as he examined our problem. He was out and done over about 2 hours. All fixed. Very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. Thank you Gabriel!!

Big Apple Plumbing and Heating came out into our house on a weekend when our pipe exploded. Our technician was professional and I love that he wore booties in the house! We will be using them again.

Worst plumber I have ever experienced. Charged $120 to come to our house. Was told we'd have to pay more to have him stand beneath the house while we flushed a bathroom to find out whether it had been leaking because it's a"diagnostic" charge. He wasn't interested in helping us- interested in trying to sell us a brand new water heater. Long story short- sent him after (after having to pay $120) and known as AAA pipes who had been much better.

Disraeli was professional and understanding. His job was flawless. For that I'm certainly grateful.
Jason, the proprietor, was focused on making sure we were satisfied customers. He made sure that the service was provided at cost that was fair. being in such a pinch, this helps us.
TLDR- assisted on a Sunday within the hour, didn't charge us an arm and a leg to get this.
We had a compression valve under our bathroom sink that would not stop dripping. I tried to replace it but it was STUCK. No quantity of strength would find that thing off. So I tried to reassemble it, but it leaked. So I could not start the water valve from under the sink. Now I'm at a pinch. Because they had excellent reviews on yelp, so I called Big Apple. A tech, Disraeli, managed to find within about 40 minutes (this was a Sunday evening).

Fantastic service; they'll be who I call when I want a plumber. Once I left a message needing to get my shower faucet replaced, they called back. Also great communication about when they would arrive, and they came. Very professional and knowledgeable!

Called at 5 pm on a Saturday about a dreadful smell that was coming from under the kitchen sink for more than a week. I'd tried every possible internet remedy to get a foul smell but nothing worked. Jason asked me to text a picture of the pipes and he diagnosed it and gave me a simple solution to the difficulty that I could fix myself and avoid the price of an in home weekend service telephone.

He helped us do this of blowing to the hose together with his especially useful advice - which we didn't see in any of our hunts. This did the trick and we've got a brand new water heater as well as back our dishwasher.
After the water heater replacement, we observed that our dishwasher didn't appear to be functioning. We tried again Thursday night and again Thursday morning. It wasn't working - water. I called Jason back up to ask if there was any chance that the water to the dishwasher might have been turned away with the fix rather than turned back on.
Our tech, Disraeli, was on favorable and time. The whole procedure took approximately 4 hours but by that we'd functioning water again - YAY! But the story doesn't stop there.
I can't see with another plumbing company now that we have had this experience.
Thank good for Yelp along with my sense! We didn't instead called Jason and go with that company. He assured me that his price included any repairs needed to get the water heater up to code and we scheduled an appointment for Wednesday morning.
Even though the company has been around quite a while and we called had adequate ratings, our led to learning that we had a new water heater. They issued a quote of $6,900 to replace it! On top of the $3600 water heater replacement/installation itself, they tacked on $3300 of HVAC work that they said was needed to get up our water heater venting to code.
A broken hot water heater: each homeowner's dream (well, nightmare). Ours beginning failing on Monday night and by Tuesday we had no hot water in any way, so we called a plumber to come out first thing Tuesday morning was a very simple fix. That wouldn't be the situation.
All in all, I am impressed by his team's responsiveness and Jason and customer service. No fix is although it wasn't 100% smooth. It's the end-result that matters for me and how a company treats me. I feel like Jason values my company and most of all, I am happy that he has pricing that is fair also doesn't need to benefit from his customers.

I can not say enough great things about this business. Our dinosaur of a water heater gave out (my husband likes to wait until the last minute for everything) Jason and Disraeli were responsive, professional and efficient- reasonable pricing for fair work. Will be sure to call this group again if our boiler (also a dinosaur) dies. Thanks Jason and Disraeli

Service and communication! Had a busy flow on a Sunday, tech was from leak and 10:00 AM at our house. With monitoring email and feature notices open line of communication.

My 60 year-old copper water heater had sprung a pinhole leak in the basement(luckily in the unfinished part). I phoned Jason at 5am who had been quite cordial despite the morning. He said he'd have a plumber to my house by 9am and true to his sentence at 8:59 Alex arrived. In less than an hour he had removed and replaced the 2 foot leaking pipe.
Alex explained every step of the operation as he went and was quite agreeable to use. A man has got to know his limitations and mine is perspiration soldering, Alex's is not. No escapes on the first attempt.
I felt that I had been robbed due the exorbitant cost and had a leak fixed by a different company 4 decades back and even though Big Apple was not cheap it was much better than the plumbing experience I'd had. I would recommend Big Apple to anyone, they are efficient, punctual and honest. Thanks guys you made a poor beginning to my day.

It just took an hour for the process, which involved a power descaling and flush of my water heater that was inline. This was what I was hoping for. I am blown away by the superb customer support.
These guys instantly responded in the Yelp program to me. They gave me a quote and subsequently an appointment the very next morning (to which they were ancient ).
Not only was everything he do, explained by the technician, Disraely, he indicated if I wished to flush out my water heater I video the process on my phone. Who is that anymore? I truly appreciated that.
He cleaned up and left the jar for the descaling solution as well as the pump kit and indicated I could get it on Amazon. Holy cow!

Had Big Apple install our own water system. The casing was too tight for us to loosen , although it was time to change filter. Jason sent one of his young men that were wonderful, educated and polite, and poof it had been loosened. He showed us the way to lubricate it to prevent problems time, yet to call if we wanted anything. No charge!!!! Totally recommend

I've dealt with plumbing firms from the passed few months for various reasons, Large Apple Plumbing was. My call was answered by them on a Friday night if our water heater went out and the Alex G was out the following morning for a replacement. Both the technician and the proprietor Jason were very professional. My spouse and I will use Big Apple for many plumbing requirements.

I opened a small company and known around for quotes when plumbing repairs were required. Big Apples was by far the fastest to respond along with the professional. Jason and his team are professional and always complete the job the ideal way. I've had them out three times and will continue to use them for the plumbing requirements.
